Any idea as to why I am unable to purchase a gift card, despite having tried using 4 different credit cards in addition to my PayPal account?
I have purchased dozens prior to today, yet now, I get to the very last stage of the buying process, only to recieve a pop-up telling me that the transaction cannot be processed and I must contact customer support (who are closed). This is something I am needing immediately so I can give it as a gift to my friend whose birthday celebration is here in less than 2 hours! Any idea people?
How much is what you want to purchase and what is the gift-card balance?

I went on icloud.com and changed my name but it changes the credit card name to mine as well so I can't get apps unless its under his name, but it confuses everyone i share photo streams with, as there are two of my dads?
My aunt is having the same problem with her photostream, so I know its not only me.I have this problem and it's annoying. Plenty of people in this world do not pay for their own stuff!. So i have 5 kids. All there accounts show as my name when people add them for Photo streams etc etc. This is ridiculous. Why not seperate billing address / credit card details to the name of the person on the account? Why do they have to be the same?

I'm unable to use my iTunes credit. I've entered my billing info and it has been rejected even when different credit cards are used

I cannot open a Powerpoint presentation in Captivate 8. Any ideas as to why?
I cannot open a Powerpoint presentation in Captivate 8. I'm following the directions to double-click on the "From Powerpoint" icon to start a project. I can double-click on a PP project, but then I get a message "Unable to import. File may be damaged." I know my files are fine. Any ideas as to why I cannot open?
I realize this was a few months back. But I had this problem and exchanged numerous emails with support, with NO resolution.
I was running Windows 8.1 and Captivate 8 (64 bit).
Finally (and I should've tried this much earlier on) I decided to uninstall 64-bit Captivate and try 32-bit.
Voila. Problem solved. 32-bit imports .pptx files perfectly.

Hi, I am just after downloading ios 5 to my iphone but now the apps on my phone won't work, even the free ones. Have tried deleting and reinstalling but it asks for credit card details even for the free apps. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks
If it is asking for account details then it might just need you to confirm your account before it lets you proceed. Maybe the terms and conditions changed since last time or something like that. Try signing into your Apple account in iTunes on a computer first to check that. Then restart the phone and try again.

Everytime I export from FCP using comressor I am lose my audio, any ideas as to why this is happening. Or do I have somthing turned off and I am just missing it? Dual 2.7 Ghz PowerPC G5 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
Exporting via Compressor may be recommended but it is slow and doesn't fully support all available filters, etc.
Try exporting the timeline as a QT Movie (the "normal" export) using Current Settings and them submit the resultant clip to Compression. Works for me... -

Just installed a new airpot extreme with a modem to use as a wireless system. Setup was successful however with 3 iPads and one laptop we cannot get all devices access to Internet. Each reset of airport extreme results in a different combination of devices that successfully connect. Any ideas as to why?

Let me tell you coulpe of things I noticed:
- Are you using LEAP as the EAP method? some config examples illustrate configuriong using LEAP with WEP keys. Forget this and use WPA2-AES.

- in some AP configurations (AP1 for example) I can see that:
wlccp authentication-server client any method_Users
This means that the wlccp client authentication will use the method called method_Users. Let us see what is configured with this method:
aaa authentication login method_Users group Users
This shows us that the method method_Users uses the server group named Users.
let us see what is configured withe the group Users:
aaa group server radius Users
NOTHING!! it is empty!! so when a client tries to connect it will try to autheticate it against the radius server but the radius server group that it needs to check is empty.
so I think you need to either use the correct method under which the server is configured with the wlccp statement. OR you need to configure the method_Users with correct user group that contains a server.
Check and let me know if that works.

1. "Choose" is not linguistically clear. How about "save" or "update." "Choose" would seem to me to be related to selecting the particular music one would want to play, not to saving the un-check.
2. This is not interface-consistant with the Settings window right next door, where just closing the window works fine.
3. This doesn't explain why a cloned older slideshow with the checkbox off still played music, but with the problem solved I don't care to rabbit-hole after that issue. -

YOu can try resetting your network or a reboot. To reboot hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release. Wait for the phone to boot back up, you won't lose any data.

Try going to System Preferences>Security & Privacy and under the General tab...
...select "Anywhere". Note that you'll need to use an admin account to access these settings.
