i have sent many messages over the last few months inc this one below!!!!
a while back I registered to the blackberry site and app world no problems for ages and now I can’t log in via appworld or anything on my phone or the net on my laptop.so I try changing passwords,still no use.it says my account is no longer valid so I
re register no luck either it tells me my email address is already in use!!!! any ideas please

and now all im getting when i try to log in is,even when i have tried uninsatalling appworld and downloading again/changing passwords,which apparently was sucessful.
but when i try to log in after activating my account.the same thing always appears,has anyone any idea why this may be happening as i have never had any problems before

and also it says invalid username which its not
i forgot to mention my bb is a torch 9800.i did get emails back from bb but nothing resolved this issue.
then i log in and it says this email address is not valid.
other times it says its ok but wont let me log in atall even if i have changed my password and username.
dont know why im logged in now?
but if i log out it wont let me in again

Was this a used iPad? Try going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This will completely restore the iPad to brand new. It will erase all content, but since the iPad is brand new and you haven't made any changes to it, there is no content that will be erased. Except the passcode, of course

I am having probems with migration assistant. Trying to transfer data from a windows laptop to iMac 2011. It was working fine when I did the set-up yesterday, but it was going to take hours to transfer some videos so I quit the process with the intention of doing it again at a later stage. However today I find that everytime I get to the 'Quit other applications' box on the Mac and click 'continue', nothing happens. Have checked mission control and confirmed no other apps running. Tried several times with the same result every time. Migration Assistant running on my laptop with the 'Waiting for mac to connect' box displayed. Mac is connected to wi-fi OK as able to use Safari and access internet. Any ideas, please?
Thanks for your suggestions. Have managed to get Migration Assistant working but now have a new problem, i.e. where does it save the transferred files?!! Searched a few forums and it seems it saves it under your old username, or suchlike. Anyway I tried logging on as a new user using my old user name but there were only a handful of files there, couldn't locate the majority of stuff from my old laptop. Anyway I don't intend to go through any more hoops with MA - will just save the important stuff to an external drive and transfer it that way. Not impressed with MA at all. I thought it was supposed to be a user-friendly tool to simplify the transfer from pc to Mac - not my experience, I'm afraid!

I am using Numbers app for the ipad and it has been working absolutely fine but now, when I want to email a spreadsheet as a PDF via the 'share and print' option, the file now doesn't appear as an attachment to the recipient. Any ideas please?

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

I have a Mac Pro using OSX 10.7.4. When using apple mail I click on the address icon to obtain email address and nothing happens. I've restarted both the application and the Mac but still won't open address book. Any ideas please.
Assuming you have these accounts set up in Mail, open preferences and under Accounts tab, edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Do you have a .mac address in the list? If so, delete it.
Are you using iCloud?
For the troubled account, select the correct SMTP server for that account in the box and check the box to use only that server with that account. -

Hi, please can anyone help, I've downloaded IOS7 onto my i-phone 4 this morning, I simply accepted the prompt. When it downloaded I needed to unlock the phone, it's a four digit code, three alfa and one numeric. Previously when I switched my phone on the key pad popped up at the bottom of the screen, now it's like the telephone key pad, but there's no way of choosing numbers or letters. I checked out a website that converts alfa to entered m4rk and it converted it to 6475, when I enter it into the phone it doesn't recognise it.
Any ideas please? I've maned to block the phone several times now....No one requires the device to be updated, if you choose not to update, that is entirely up to you.
Updating without a backup is a bad idea.
Attempting an update without access to a computer is not very smart either. In the event the update goes badly, the only option may be to restore via iTunes on a computer. -
I can no longer import raw files from my Panasonic Lumix LX5 into Aperture 3.3.2 - raw files from my other Canon cameras are fine. Am still running Lion (10.7.4) - NOT Mountain Lion. Tried all available software updates - all up to date apparently but still no joy. OS X Lion shows the LX5 as a supported file format. I dont want to have to upgrade to Mountain Lion just to see if this solves the problem. Any ideas please.
Since when did this happen? Directly after you upgraded to Aperture 3.3.2?
If it happened directly after the upgrade the problem may be, that the raw support for your camera got lost. For some posters it helped to register the raw support again, see this post by Alan Roseman:

If this does not help, you may need to reinstall Lion to bring back the raw support.
But if the problem occured independent of a new installation, ypu may have a problem with your camera or the card you are using. Have you tried to use a different card or to reformat the card in the camera? -
I have just received a brand new IPOD Touch ,it will not turn on, i have connected it to my cmputer, it does not show that its charging and is not recognised in Itunes. I have tried the holding down the power and home buttons which also didnt work. Any Ideas Please ????
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a new computer with Windows 7 professional, Office 2007, Adobe XI. I have just created a word document and tried save it as a PDF but the PDF option doesn't appear in the drop down menu. Any ideas please? Thank you.
What is "Adobe XI" - Reader, or Acrobat?
But either way, 'Save as Adobe PDF' is a Word function, independent of what Adobe software you have installed. -
I just can't seem to find all the music I bought on itunes since I downloaded updates for my iphone today. I followed the suggestions in the support area, but it's still a mystery where it's gone. Any ideas please?
ThanksI take it you didn't transfer purchases BEFORE you attempted to update your phone? If that's the case and you live in the US you can look at your purchase history and re-download the purchased music using iTunes. If you're outside the US, you're out of luck.

If my memory serves me right (it’s some while since I changed and I have not used Photoshop for some years…) I was running it on XP. I upgraded to Win 7 on a new machine but ported across files, programmes etc. I cannot recall if Photoshop ever ran on Win 7.
I have tried to reinstall but the CD is warped and despite applying pressure to it neither of my drives likes it. I have Photoshop 7 on my third hard drive, a portable drive, which came from the XP machine.

The word app has disappeared from my desktop computer and can't be found on finder or search. All documents I created on word will now not open unless in "TextEdit" format which I don't use. Any ideas please? Thanks

I have tried with an Ipad Air and Ipad using Op System 8.0.2 to mirror their contents to the screen of my Samsung Flat Screen Flat TV via the latest make of Appletv.I have spent over 2 hours going through all settings etc with Apple Customer Service Live Chat.They cannot find or replicate the problem and says it is all working fine.My TV screen displays, when i go into mirroring, "ready for connection - on your device launch Allshare Cast".Nothing happens although i have agreed with Apple Support that all settings are on and are correct.Can anyone help please, as Apple Support cannot?
