Any ideas for resolving IE "Page Cannot be Displayed" issues being encountered in Viewer using 11.1.1.7 in SSL mode, works fine w/Firefox & Chrome, or IE using nonSSL.

Wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. We have tried to work an SR on it, but just have not been getting anywhere w/support.
We recently upgraded from 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.7.
When using a SSL connection (https://...8094), our Discoverer Viewer IE users are encountering "Page cannot be found" errors when running reports and when trying to export. The problems are not encountered for users utilizing Firefox or Chrome, just IE.
A couple notes:
We've found that by dialing down the number of rows to display, that will most often allow the report to work, e.g. if the report is set to display 25 rows, the report will fail and we'll just get the IE "Page cannot be found". If we change the display rows to 5, then the exact same report with the exact same parameters will work. Although it would be nice to be able to display more than just 5 rows of data :-) .
When the report runs successfully, we've also found that users get a lot of failures when exporting to .XLS. Often they can be successful exporting to .csv instead of .xls, but some reports still fail to export .csv.
We didn't have any of these issues prior to upgrading from 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.7, and again the issues only impact IE users when connecting in SSL mode. If we test the exact same reports/parameters using a non-SSL connection (same web-server, just using http://....:8090 instead of https://.....:8094), everything works great. Something just doesn't seem to be compatible between IE, SSL and the Web Server for the page calls over some certain size.
Just wanted to reach out to see if any Disco Web Server gurus out there might have any ideas of things for us to try.

So, I did this:
edited $INSTANCE_HOME/config/OHS/ohs1/ssl.conf file.
Commented/removed the following section (Took a backup of the file before modifying it)
BrowserMatch ".*MSIE.*" \
nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown \
downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0
opmnctl stopall
opmnctl startall
The Viewer problem seems to be gone. Oracle is adding a note to MOS for this issue, possibly with this solution.

Any ideas why I would be having this display issue on just one page on my website?

Firstly, the webpage URL that is in question is http://crawford3d.businesscatalyst.com/maya-models.html.
The issue arises only when I publish the site and this is my second attempt to fix the issue. The first page was created with anchors that pointed to 7 embedded videos from youtube. The problem was similar where the page was sliced and the location of the videos where changed. I'm using the same master page for this page that I'm using for the other pages, so I'm thinking it is something to do with just that one page. My attempt at a fix was as follows: I used a composition lightbox to embed the videos so I could just click on the thumbnail to view the videos individually: however, the problem must not be with the method I'm using because I'm getting the same sliced display on the page. As you can see on the page a preview of the videos are also being displayed which is not supposed to happen when using a "lightbox". Please Help!! Thanks

In one of your embedded Youtube videos HTML, you have a number of closing <div> tags, and a closing <body> tag. That will be causing the display issues you are seeing. Might just be a copy/paste issue, but removing those should fix your problem.

Just re-set the App -
Open the App
Hold down the power button until the slider appears
Hold down the home button (Don't use the slider) Until the App Closes
You might lose your place, but shouldnt be too hard to find it again...

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

Had the same problem, the only fault and the reason why it happend is a bad wifi connection!

2) if u r done with first step then can try SAP GUI for Window in creation of Iview

Replying to myself. Kept trying different areas of the ipod this evening, clicking various buttons, including some I'd never used before. All of a sudden I could see my Nano in iTunes. I quickly clicked on Restore before iTunes changed its mind about recognizing the iPod. Moved some songs onto it and it appears to be back to normal. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Go into preferences and under playback turn off background render. That helped speed things for me when working with large files.

When I click Start Reporting and Analysis core serivces a command prompt window opens with the name "server" on the window, but the command prompt window itself is empty.

My ipad 2 (ios 6.1.2) continuously drops wifi and every few minutes, i receive tha black scrren with the apple... Any ideas on resolving? It is VERY frustrating!   If it helps, wifi is connected to our secured home internet.

Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Similar issue:
I purchased several complete albums from the iTunes store on my laptop. Everything syncs fine with my iPhone except for two tracks from two seperate albums. I get the same error for both tracks: "iTunes could not copy ..... to the iPhone because the file could not be converted."
From what I can tell both tracks are the same format as the other tracks on those albums - m4a (purchased AAC audio file) and wouldn't need converting (except that I have "convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" checked... but the other tracks convert just fine). Files play just fine on the laptop.
I checked that everything was purchased with the same user accounts. Not sure what to try next... any ideas?

I've run diagnostics. Can't find device. I've tried resetting. The toggle has been turned on and off.

Cable works fine on my other iPod. Reset by pressing menu and center button together for 6-10 seconds. Left it to charge for many hours. Started acting up while running. Suddenly the music stopped playing but my Nike + was still working for the rest of my run. Took it straight it home and plugged it in to the wall to recharge since the battery was fairly low. Looked like it recharged ok but then screen went blank and now does it not show up on iTunes, does not seem to recharge by the wall charger (apple wall charger plugged into a surge protector in India). I have turned the hold switch off and on many times.
Sounds like a repair issue, which is not easy to do in India :(
