Any ideas on how to stop Acrobat Pro XI crashing?
I am using OS X 10.8.4, with 16GB RAM. Acrobat Pro XI crashes immediately I try to use sticky notes, and also when I open Preferences.
also when I open Preferences.
Try deleting the Acrobat preference file.

Error -50 is a very unhelpful generic communications error with a number of possible causes. Something between the drive to which you are downloading and the drive from which it is all coming is not working correctly, which probably leaves several hundred options.

I've created various playlists on my iphone5. Everytime I sync my phone with itunes on my PC I lose these playlist. Any ideas on how to stop this happening? I've tried various methods but the sync always results in the playlists which I've set-up on itunes on my PC over-writing my mobile created playlists. I switched my number to my daughters iPhone 4 and she got an iPhone 5. When I send txt using iMessage, she is getting a copy of the txt on her phone as well. Any idea on how to stop this?
This occurs when two people share the same apple id for imessage.
settings - message - send & receive - uncheck or remove the apple id.

My Iphone 4 has been stuck on a loading symbol for a week now, I've plugged it into the computer but can't do anything still because it says I need to put my pass-code in, but I can't the screen is on loading still! Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I purchased Acrobat Pro in 2014. Now I keep getting Acrobat Pro DC popups. When I followed the instructions from the forum and clicked the button to "license" the software (that is already licensed), the number was not recognized. How to stop popups?

Since you are using an Acrobat license, you cannot use the same serial key to activate DC version.

I have tried everything I can think of to try to get it to work (which it did until recently when I had Acrobat reinstalled). OS is Windows 7.
Are you sure you're exporting interactive PDF?

Any ideas on how to stop word from crashing 6+ times a day?
Am on macbook pro with snow leopard still. Office 08 has gotten very skitish and word crashes 6-10 times a day. I don't use fast save and nothing else has changed. This just started happening daily about 2 weeks ago. Crazy making. Thanks if anyone has some suggestions.

Forum email bombardment!! Any ideas on how to stop?
Any help from anyone would be appreciated. My e-mail account is being bombarded with messages from <[email protected]>. When I check my Watch List , it reads:"Your Email Update option is set to: No Email Updates." and,"You are watching 0 categories , 0 forums , 0 topics in All Categories / All Forums."

I'm trying to connect my 30" Cinema Display to my new Mac Pro along with a new Apple 23'" monitor. The new Apple monitor is fine. On the cinema monitor everything is blown up pretty large. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I am trying to play a DVD on my MacBook Pro and transmit it to my TV (using my TV as the monitor) utilizing a VGA cable and adapter for the Mac but the only image that shows up on the TV is the MacBook wall paper, any ideas on how I can transmit the movie from my MacBook to the TV? I also tried an HDMI cable and had the same issue.
you are probably seeing the extended display.. to see ur main display go to pefrences then display steeings and turn mirroring on.

When I switch my time capsule to 5.0ghz mode the range of my wireless network drops significantly. Near the Time Capsule my Macbook Pro works fine, in my bedroom I have almost no signal. In mixed mode it works fine both placed. Any ideas on how to get 5.0 working? I thought 5.0Ghz was supposed to have a wider range. Do I need to change a setting on the Macbook Pro?

The upside is that the 5 GHz signal will allow faster speeds.
The downside is that you must always give up something in order to gain something else.Unfortunately, the marketing hype about 5 GHz does not go into very many details about this.
In the case of 5 GHz, the 5 GHz signals are much weaker than 2.4 GHz signals, so they do not travel as far or penetrate any obstructions like walls or ceilings nearly as well as 2.4 GHz signals. In many cases, in order to get good 5 Ghz performance, you literally have to have almost a line-of-sight relationship between your computer and the wireless router.
If you have a new dual band router, which broadcasts both a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal simutaneously, your Mac will connect to the best signal quality automatically depending on its location in relation to the router. In the same room, without any obstructions, it will connec to 5 GHz. But, take the laptop down the hall a few rooms and around the corner and the Mac will connect to the 2.4 GHz signal because at that location, the 2.4 GHz signal is not only stronger, it is also faster.
