Any implementations of CRM leasing in manufacturing company

Hello All,
I know that CRM leasing is only used with typical leasing company, but wanted to check with you guys if there was any implementation done for manufacturing company for CRM leasing who does leasing on its own with single legal entity, how is accounting and delivery is effected.
or are there any restrictions in implementing CRM leasing with OEMS?
any help here is highly appreciated.

Additional question, In case of Operating Lease why do we split Repayment amount during Term period of the contract, in this case the lessee is not buying the Asset right, he will return the Asset to the Lessor anyways.

BPM process for manufacturing company-PBL code.

I am very new to Oracle BPM and I'm currently using Oracle BPM 10g. I have done the expense report tutorial once.
And now I'm designing a process in a manufacturing company. I have a group,'items' with attributes name, pricePerItem, Quantity and Total. here Total is the product of pricePerItem and Quantity. the PBL program i wrote for it is :
amt as Decimal(3)
for each item in items do
amt = item.pricePerItem * item.quantity
     end
     return amt
I have another attribute grossamt which is the sum of the every item's total value. the PBL program for this is:
amount as Decimal(3)
amount = 0
for each item in items do
amount = amount + item.total
end
return amount
However after I run the project, the 'total' field doesnt get calculated or populated which in turn leaves the grossamt field empty. Without this my process cannot proceed.
Please let me know if there is any error in the code i wrote above.
Or if there is any other work around for the same.

There's a trick you can employ that should make this easy. When you open an attribute, notice that you have a "Virtual" checkbox. After checking this, you'll notice that under the attribute in the Project Navigator tab that there will be "read" and "write" method.
For your line item total attribute inside the group add this logic to the read() method associated with the virtual attribute:
// this sets the line item “itemTotal” attribute of a Group.
//   (defined as Virtual). This code is in the Read Access
//    method for the itemTotal attribute and
//    “pricePerItem” and “quantity” are attributes in the group
return pricePerItem * quantityFor the overall total of the order that is based on the sum of the indiviidual order item lines in the group, add this logic in the virtual "grossAmount" attribute's read() method. The logic shown below assumes that your group's name is "items" and your order line item attribute inside the group is called "total".

Error in CRM Leasing Quotation regarding Financing Option

Hi All,
I created one financing option with financing character by entering neccessary data for periodic payments. And also assigned this opiton to one financing product.
But when i am using the above financing product in the Leasing Quotation, i am getting error "The valid from date cannot be determined for the periodic flow category"(which is used in financing option).
There is one SAP note avialable for the same, but that is already applied.
Is any body having any idea about this error?

How to divide the CRM transaction data by company cord?
CRM transaction have not company cord, so how to divide the data on BI report by company cord?
Do I have to get the sales organization from customer master?
Some transactions have not master data like lead. I want to know your experience.

This is self reply.
I should use the sales organization instead of company cord.
But some business like lead from contact from customer can not separate the company, in situation one call center for multiple companies.
We should use another field to divide the company. Ex. Product, campaign, etc.
If someone knows better way to solve this issue, let me know the reply.

CRM Leasing - BRI (Billing Request Item) net value is "0"

In CRM Leasing, while quotation is created BRIu2019s (Billing Request Items) are generated. But these BRIu2019s are currently generated with net value u201CZerou201D. There are generated based on Cash Flow.
Can anyone help me understand why the net value is zero in all the BRI's generated in Quotation?

With just ABAP reports you can do reporting like in any OLTP system be it R/3 or CRM. The OLAP systems were initially made in order to get in-depth reporting using the data warehousing techniques to store, extract, retrieve data for presentation so that there is no performance degradation on the OLTP system.
Now CRM analytics is just technically like any ERP module analytics (be it CO, FI, SD etc.: if you put aside the diff. kinds of extraction techniques) and like them needs a BI system. The different modeling techniques have to be built normally on a separate BIW system and the results are applied back to business processes in CRM/ERP.
Since netweaver 2004 the BI content as an addon as against the prior releases. Not many customers follow the idea of performing the BI related transactions on the same system as the CRM is unless you have a really robust hardware.

Any implementation with IVR and OPA integrated?

Has OPA been used in IVR system for interactive screening? One of my clients is planning its IVR enhancement and they are evaluating the option to leverage the same Rulebase developed for online self service to support IVR screening. The challenge is that any dynamic questions from OPA will have to be pre-recorded in voice and coded in IVR script. This sounds like a high effort approach. Is this technically feasible? Any implementation example or proof of concept?

Hi Bowen,
This is a challenging requirement. Recording a message for each of the RuleBase questions is not the best option. Instead you can use a Text To Speech (TTS) software which will generate voice messages for each of the questions that is presented to the user.
This is just a solution I could think of. I have not implemented this, but thought it might be of some help to you.

Is BW implementation of CRM lot different from implementing R/3 data?
Does CRM has complex data like Audio files? how does BW/CRM handle the call center data?

What are the major issues in implementation SAP CRM sales and CIC.

We are newly implanting the project to the mobile Manfaturing Company. Our Clint is going for are looking to implement the CIC interaction center win Clint and the Sales modules of CRM .
We have some 3rd parry raw data with us with that raw data we are calling to the customers and we want create the opportunity in the CIC after that we will convert the opportunity as a sales with our other sales people. After that they will sale that product to that customers.
We have the back end of the R/3 SD, MM modules implemented for Clint.
Now 1) I want to know after implementation what are the major issues will come in the project normally for the conman Sales and CIC Win Clint projects kindly give the some issues normally come and solutions for the problems also.
My motto is that if I know the issues I can make preparation for that conman issues and I will make my project with good effective and smooth running ..

hi prakesh,
firstly, cic winclient is an older version and obsolete so its better to implement the new crm version.
secondly, in any case if you want to implement, then your 3rd party raw data has to be mapped with the SAP system which could be a problem. Middleware could be a lot of effort. Rest all depends on how much customization you need for your business requirement in cic and sales. In case you are implementing standard functionality mostly then no major complications are expected otherwise lot of development effort may be required.

CRM has no specific functionality to restrict access to certain machines, but you may be able to achieve this by more general functionality. One option is to block the Crm url on specific client machines, as per the previous post, but that only works for
known machines.
Another option could be to add restrictions in IIS on the Crm Server. This can restrict access to only certain IP addresses, but that would only work if the laptops always connect via a known set of IP addresses - this is probably OK if they're always connected
via a company network, either directly, or via a VPN
