Any latest news about the Microphone Boost problem?

Hi,
I'm using the SB X-FI Titanium and I have the well-known problem that my mic is too low, but can't fix it cause the creative console doesn't have MicBoost. ? It's definitely not a mic-problem cause I tried two different mics.
Are there any latest news about that, may be official/not official drivers? Or ist there another way to activate MicBoost for my X-FI?

Some serious sources say that a new set of nForce drivers are in its way to release.
Some modules has been rewritten, so thats why their late release.
Just some last minute bugfixing, and they will hit our nForce systems!!!

Is There ANY Good News About The Update To iOS5 ?

So I haven't updated my iPhone 4 to iOS5 yet. Before I do, I went to read about how it is working for others, and JESUS !!! What a nightmare it looks like.

Most have no issues.
I have never had an issue nor has anyone I personally know.
Every single update, without exception, is met with some complaints. Just as a hospital is full of sick people, this support forum is full of people who need support.
The majority of users have no isse and therefore do not post on the internet or in support forums.

Satellite Pro S300-10J - Question about the microphone voltage supply

I would like to use my S300 10J for acoustical measurements on speakers. (DIY)
For that setup, I'm using an electret microphone, the IBF EMM-08:

for power, this is what it needs: 1.5 - 10V / approx. 0.5 mA
Does the s300-10J supply that or not ?
Anyone that can recoomend an external soundcard that has that supply? (if my laptop doesn't )

I have a little bit searched with Google and I didnt find any details only about the microphone port. So I think this notebook is equipped with a normal microphone port as on every notebook.
I dont know if this is what you need but if you need an external sound card I can recommend Creative sound cards. I use Creative sound cards for years and I have good experience with it. For notebooks are special sound cards available that you can put in the express card slot for example:

I am located in North America, that's why I think my itunes store just give me the latest news about music from North America, but I want to download some songs from other counties too.

You can look at other stores, but you will not be able to purchase tracks from any iTunes Store other than the Canadian store. The content owners will not allow cross-border sales.

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

Hey just doing a check. In. Do you have any more information about the Lightroom app for tablet? Like when it is coming out, what features will it have? Because I can't Waite. Especially for editing a raw file on a tablet. Excited.
I do have a Few questions. 1. Will the app have a library mode that allows the photographer to display the raw files on the app like how photo shop touch does. Example. When your import a photo from the iPad it shows up in the photo app that Apple makes. But when you take that photo into photo shop and save it as a psdx file, the project or photo does not show up in the original photo app by apple.
2. Will the app use the smart previews when you import a raw file on to the iPad the same as you do with a computer?
3. Do you have to Waite to go home to edit a raw file or can you edit on the tablet once you import the photo from camera to iPad? Instead of going home import to computer into Lightroom 5, then to adobe cloud, then to iPad.
4. Will the app display catalog, book, etc modes like Lightroom 5 has?

What are you asking?
Adobe's software range doesn't create U3D files anymore. You have to use third-party applications.

Does any one know about the small Hardrive that "The Power Company" is producing, sponsored by Indiegogo, for small Apple mobile devices (iPhones, iPods, etc,). Do they work or cause problems for the device or iCloud storage?

Any news about the new droid phones that will come out for next year?

so after my post about the EOL of phones for 2011, i was wondering if there were any phones that were coming out that would be as good as the Droid X. i liked the X bc it was big enough for me (im 6'2 and pretty big) and i liked how the OS was set up for customization of widgets and stuff.

Any GOOD things about the WRT300N?????

I understand that these forums are good sources of information for solving problems. However, ALL I can find are problems with the WRT300N.
I just bought one and I plan on installing tomorrow to support a new wireless 11g printer I bought and to give me more headroom for gaming.
All the posts cite connections dropping, poor performance, and lack of range. Is anyone "pleased" with this router???
Should I just put it back without even trying to install and get my money back????

I've only owned the 300N for a few days, but it's been stable and an easy connection with a Windows Vista machine. I struggled with an older NetFear router with a new Vista machine and gave up after 4 days of stress and frustration and bought the 300N with the USB300 series adapter on a whim while shopping.
I've been getting 4-5 bars and according to Vista's connection information, averaging 210-250 mbps. The wireless PC is located upstairs on the second floor and the wireless router is on the first floor in my audio room. Just take note, there are not any "G" devices on the network.
I had 2 issues with the router which I will explain.
I contacted Linksys's level 1 tech support to deal with these 2 issues The security light light on the router was not lit and I asked why considering I had all security features enabled. MAC filtering, blocking SSID and encryption. The tech told me that if you use the Easy Link software the security light will not light. To activate the security light, you need to use the Linksys Wireless Network Monitor software to activate the security light. Unfortunately, Vista does not support this software, so if using Vista, according to the tech, it will never light until they have a fix, if they create one at all.
The other issue I had was not broadcasting the SSID. When I disengaged the broadcast function, I could not connect to the network. I tried various methods and I initially looked for the Wireless network monitor software, but it was/is not available with the Vista firmware. To connect to the router with the broadcast of the SSID off, she had me delete the current profile, create another manually adding the network SSID, encryption type, etc., and now I can connect to the network with not broadcasting the SSID.
Perhaps my situation is an anomaly, but I have not dropped a connection yet, speed has been 5 X my NetFear "G" connection speed and I receive 4-5 bars for signal strength. I did notice that when I changed the Network Mode to "N" band only and changed a few other settings following the manual, the signal dropped to 3 bars. I just switched back to the "Mixed" mode and default settings and the signal went back to normal.
I'm not a complete neophyte with wireless, but generally once it's secure (if there i such a thing) and connected, I never touch it again except to change the network name, router password, etc every few months. That is my experience.

I'm sorry if this has been asked, but from googling, there hasn't been any recent news that I could find! Did they have an ETA on the new updates?

The short answer is No.
The most recent 'official Adobe' statement about PrPro next is here:

But that was released pre-NAB so whatever you heard out of NAB is obviously more current.
