Any limit to the number of loops?

I've put down a bunch of regions, which I've created myself. I can obviously drag those across to the right and name them, and then they're saved as loops, right? Is there any limit to doing this? Also, is there any limit to the number of loops you can import from outside (e.g. stuff you might buy or download)?

i'm not sure what this means...
dragged, or not, named, or not, any region you create in the project is saved within the project

  • Is their any limit on the number of column updates in a update statement!

    Hello All,
    Is their any limit on the number of columns to set in a single update statement.+
    am using oracle 11g .
    example :-
    UPDATE FMLY SET as_comp1 = v_as_comp1 , as_comp2 = v_as_comp2, as_comp3 = v_as_comp3, as_comp4 = v_as_comp4 , as_comp5 = v_as_comp5 ,      perslt18 = v_perslt18 , persot64  = v_persot64  , fam_size = v_fam_size , numchild = total_children , C_AGE1 = v_c_age1,  C_AGE2 = v_c_age2,  C_AGE3 = v_c_age3,  C_AGE4 = v_c_age4 WHERE FAMID = fmly_famid(i) ;
    and also is it good practice to issue single update or multiple updates ?
    example for the above update i can have multiple statements like .. does the performance matters if so which is good
    UPDATE FMLY SET as_comp1 = v_as_comp1 , as_comp2 = v_as_comp2, as_comp3 = v_as_comp3, as_comp4 = v_as_comp4 , as_comp5 = v_as_comp5
    WHERE FAMID = fmly_famid(i) ;
    UPDATE FMLY SET perslt18 = v_perslt18 , persot64 = v_persot64 , fam_size = v_fam_size
    WHERE FAMID = fmly_famid(i) ;
    UPDATE FMLY SET numchild = total_children WHERE FAMID = fmly_famid(i) ;
    UPDATE FMLY SET C_AGE1 = v_c_age1, C_AGE2 = v_c_age2, C_AGE3 = v_c_age3, C_AGE4 = v_c_age4 WHERE FAMID = fmly_famid(i) ;

    If you can do it in a single SQL statement then you should do that.
    Here's a mantra that I found to work out pretty good:

    Craig,
    It was image.cpp line 2770.  I am told (by another person in the company that has seen this) that it has been seen on several machines, always PXI controllers, but not on all PXI controllers.  I am told that it is not always image.cpp that reports the error, but for me it was always the same line of code identified by the error message.  I did not have a chance to do any experimenting to find a particular threshold number of mnu files.  I may be able to find error logs.  I currently sent the controller to our IT department, doing a windows XP repair, just in case there was something corrupted in the system itself.
    The error was reproducible.  This installation at one time must have included real-time / FPGA, because on the opening screen I ge the drop-down ring for selecting a target.  If I click on this drop down ring, I get the crash on line 2770, every time.  If, instead I open an empty new VI, I am able to switch to the block diagram by selecting the window directly with the mouse, but if I try to pull down on the "window" menu to do "show block diagram", I get the crash on line 2770, every time.  Because the user-defined mnu files are now deleted, I would have to create them again, or find a way to reinstall them, to reproduce the error at this point.

  • Is there any limit in the number of pictures archived ?

    Hello,
    I am currently using Adobe PhotoShop Album V1.0 and I have 5798 pictures stored in the database (the .psa file is 18 Mo).
    1/ I would like to know if there is any upper limit ? Can I continue to add pictures or should I create a new album file ??
    Is there any new version which exists, I do not find the product anymore (I just bought an iPhone, and I LOVE apple products, I would like to continue with it). If a new product exists:
    2/ Can I easily import all the data already existing in my PhotoShop Album version (without loosing tags, etc...) ???
    3/ Is there any special price/discount for someone who has PhotoShop Album ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Kamayana

    According to the Adobe website the support option for Photoshop Album Starter Edition ended in June 2009 but you can transition your photos to the new Photoshop.com offering:  http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/starter.html
    With regard to Adobe not taking care of its customers,  it is unfortunately a fact of life that software companies sometimes discontinue products and at some point eliminate support for discontinued products. It is just too expensive to train technicians to support all previous product versions.  Company employees who developed the product or used to know about it in detail may have moved on to other positions or even to other companies, so theoretically the know-how may not even be available within the company in some cases.  That is one reason why user communities are so important!
    I'm sorry I can't answer your primary question - good luck!

  • Limit on the number of live streams

    Hi,
    I wanted to know if there is any limit on the number of live streams that a client can connect to?
    For example, there are four live streams s1, s2, s3, s4 being published to FMS, can a flash client subscribe to all the four streams at the same time?
    If yes, what is the maximum number of streams that a client can subscribe to and what are the trade-offs?
    Thank You for the help.

    The terminology becomes important here.
    As a client application , i can have four video players on the same browser each subscribing to one of the streams and playing back. Each subscription here happens with a netStream object and this netstream can at one point of time subscribe to only one publishing stream. You can have multiple netstreams.

    Go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the De-authorise All button in your account's details. Use the De-authorise All and then authorise the PCs you still have.

  • Is there a limit to the number of apps that can be Hidden from view in Family Sharing?

    I've just set up a Family Share and have issued invitations to a couple of family members.
    I'm trying to take full advantage of the "Hide" feature that's available in the Purchased list in the App Store app, mostly to hide really old apps that I haven't used since the beginning of time.  These apps have been long gone from any of my iOS devices, and it has always bugged me that they still appeared in my Purchased list. It's pretty cool that Family Sharing allows people to hide some of their app purchases from others in the group, as this also allows folks to hide apps that they also don't want to see in our own lists.
    The first couple of dozen apps that I decided to hide stayed hidden. However: now, no matter what I try, I can't hide any more apps.  I swipe on an app to reveal the Hide button; tap the button; the app disappears from the list; I go to another screen in the app; I return to my Purchased list: and the most recent Hidden apps are still listed.
    This is driving me nuts. I'm wondering if Apple has imposed a limit on the number of apps that anyone can hide; or if there's something I can do to force a hidden app to stay hidden.
    Advice will be gratefully accepted.

    Hi, Gail
    > I would suggest that you wait until tomorrow and check those devices again. Remember,
    > this information is being pushed to your device from the iTunes store based on the changes
    > you were making.
    Not a bad suggestion, but it does not explain why an app refuses to REMAIN hidden on my iPhone -- as I explained in my first post:
    > I swipe on an app to reveal the Hide button; tap the button; the app disappears from the list;
    > I go to another screen in the app; I return to my Purchased list: and the most recent Hidden
    > apps are still listed.
    Given the clunkiness and general unreliability of iCloud - which rarely "just works" - it doesn't surprise me that hiding an app on one device doesn't mean the same app will be hidden immediately on other devices logged into the same account. I've learned to be patient and wait hours for changes to anything synced via iCloud to be reflected on other devices in the sync loop.  But again, this in now way explains why apps were not staying hidden on the device that was used to hide them.
    I've finally managed to hide all the apps I wanted hidden, after many hours of waiting and multiple attempts at hiding.  I am in no way confident that these apps are going to REMAIN hidden permanently, or until I choose to unhide some of them; only time will tell if iCloud decides to behave and accept my series of "Hide this app" commands to be honoured permanently!

  • Add Folder - is there a limit to the number of files you can add in one go?

    I have a fairly large collection (60GB+) of 192kbps mp3 files which are stored under My Music in a folder structure of Artists / Album, e.g. "My Music \ ACDC \ Back in Black\ Hells Bells.mp3"
    I recently bought an ipod and having installed itunes I wanted to add all my music. I figured out that the way to do this is to go File / Add Folder and select the "My Music" folder.
    However, itunes starts adding the mp3s and stops at the Bruce Springsteen folder. At this point the itunes library can see all the "A" folders and the "Bs" up to and including Bruce Springsteen. If I try the process again nothing happens.
    However, if I then try to add a specific folder e.g. "My Music \ Charlatans" it works.
    This suggests to me that the Add Folder option has a limit to the number of files it can process.
    Any thoughts on this would be appreciated as I'm not looking forward to manually adding a hundred or so folders.
      Windows XP

    Well the part about putting songs in the "iTUnes Music" folder I only brought up because it seemed you liked things very organized. You could use iTunes to so all the organizeing. Plus once you add something to the iTUnes library, if you change ANYTHING about it in windows explorer, like its name, change the name of the folder its in or move it to another folder, iTUnes "Looses Track" of it. Its not like other programs that "Watch" files and folders for changes outside its "iTUnes Music" folder
    But to have iTUnes auto search, you have to delete a hidden pref file. After doing this, when you open iTUnes again it will throw up a setup wizard, just like its the first time ever installing it. Its in this wizard where you get your ONLY chance to have iTUnes auto search and add files from the system. Just goto the link below and follow Scott P's steps

  • Is there a way to set a limit on the number of characters each cell will hold in numbers?

    Hi there, I'm creating a CSV file via Numbers and would like to set a limit to the number of characters a cell will hold in numbers. This way, when I copy text from my source, and paste it into the numbers cell, the text will be cut off at the character limit I've placed for that cell.
    Specifically, I would like my character limit per cell in a column on a new spreadsheet to be 100 characters. I have text to copy & paste into roughly 10 different cells and I'd like it to all be 100 characters.
    I am using Numbers version 9 of iWork and 10.7.5 OS.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you t quinn for your reply as I do really appreciate the help.
    I don't quite understand what your suggestion was and before I try to figure it out and play around with numbers, I thought I should clarify further. When i wrote I want to paste the content into the cell and have it limited to 100 characters I was mis-spoken. I actually have all the content already in the columns in a spreadsheet and would now like to just limit some of the columns to hold only 100 characters in a cell so that when its a CSV file it will be accepted to the program I'm trying to upload it to.
    SO does that change the way you can answer my question?
    Is there a way to just limit the content currently in a spreadsheet to 100 characters per cell?
    Kindly

  • Limit on the number of partitions a table can have

    Hi,
    It's been quite some time I'm thinking of a simple and the best solution to a performance issue in my application. Benefiting out of partitioning the table seems a simplest approach; it involves very minimal changes to my application code and in addition, it keeps the overall application logic 100% intact. However, at times, the number of partitions required can grow to as large as 500 thousand. I know of another application implementing as many as 50 thousand partitions for one of its tables. I'm wondering if Oracle recommends or poses any limit to a number of partitions the table can have. How does that limit, if it exists, vary if each of my table partition holds only a small amount of data; say, not more than 2 thousand records each of 1 KB size. What are the important considerations that one needs to keep in mind while creating the huge number of partitions for a table?
    Any inputs on this would be a great help.
    Thanks,

    I doubt if you are using partitioning for the right causes. Please explain how is your data structured and why you need to create so many partitions..?
    when creating partition, you need to consider..
    a) why you need to partition?
    b) how is your data structured
    c) how your data is indexed.
    d) What kind of queries would you firing on this table to get the data. Will they use the partition key ?
    Thanks,
    Rajesh.

  • Is there a limit on the number of playlists on an ipod 160Gb Classic ?

    I am using iTunes and my ipod as a catalogue and database for my collection of CDs (about 600) and LPs (about 300). As the number of playlists is going to be quite large, classical composer playlist names are prefixed by ZC and popular performer playlist names are prefixed by ZP. This places them at the bottom of the sort order. Selective playlists (music to play)just have ordinary names and hence appear at the top of the list. So far, I have processed about half my CDs and have loaded about 5000 tracks, divided into about 250 playlists. The capacity used is about 40 Gb.
    My question is; will I run out of capacity, either for the anticipated number of tracks (15,000+) or playlists (1000+) before I have loaded all my stuff ?

    - Tracks: I am pretty sure there is no hard-coded limit on the number of tracks you can have in your iTunes library. I imagine the only limitation might be your machine's specs, and whether iTunes would start slowing down a lot as it tries to handle more and more library items.
    Currently, I have 13000 tracks and counting, and iTunes runs like a charm on a MacBook Pro, 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM. Any semi-modern machine should have no problems dealing with a similar-sized library.
    - Playlists: Again, I don't think think there is a hard-coded limit on the number of Playlists you can have in iTunes, but I am less certain about that than about the tracks. So I believe you can proceed with your mind at ease.
    That said, I'm curious: why do you have so many Playlists for relatively few tracks? (averages to 20 tracks per playlist).

    Hi all,
    We are planning to implement a group structure where there a quite a lot of groups that has to be created. that's why i'm wondering if there is a limit to the number of groups we can create in CMC.
    Thanks in advance for your answers..

    Damien,
         I have NOT come across any limits but you need to be very careful on how many nested layers you create and if you are also going to use 3rd party security like AD &/or LDAP.   Then you will see some performance issues.
    How many groups are looking to create 2,000 / 4,000 / 6,000 ?

    None that I know off. But why are you asking? Did you notice any performance problems or problems to render the slideshow? Then it would help to know more about your hardware RAM, disk, CPU ..
    If you already encountered problems, you may wish to have a look at this thread - although it relates to Aperture 3, not 2:
    Is there a limit on the number of photos you can use in an Aperture slideshow?
    And as I said in that thread:
    I'd expect the limiting factor to the length of a slide show to be the patience and "Good Will" of your intended audience

  • Can we specify limit on the number of records to be fetched?

    Can we specify limit on the number of records to be fetched from the database?
    I have millions of records in my DB and I want to fetch say some 50,000 latest records to optimize the performance of reports.
    Is it possible in any version of Crystal Reports?
    Regards,
    Amrita

    Hi Amrita
    Do you have any groups in your report.  If yes then this is what you need to do:
    1) Insert a section below on the Details section so that there is a Details A and Details B.
    2) Create the following formulas:
    @Formula1
    WhilePrintingRecords;
    NumberVar Number := 0;
    @Formula2
    WhilePrintingRecords;
    NumberVar Number;
    Number := Number + 1;
    3) Place @Formula1 in the Group Header. Format the formula to Suppress.
    4) Place @Formula2 in Details A. Format the SECTION (not the formula) to Suppress.
    5) Format the Details B section to conditionally Suppress by selecting the X+2 button INSTEAD of the selecting the Suppress box. This launches the conditional formatting Formula Editor.
    6) Enter this formula:
    {@formula2} > 3
    When you preview the report you will only see 3 records per group.
    Let us know if you need any further help with this.
