if any of my friend give me suggetion to use SkyFire then my answer is this browser is useless.

From where? There are applications that allow you to view video from YouTube, ABC-TV, HBO, and many others places.

Can anyone please tell me how can I play http live streaming from FMLE 3.2 to Flash player, iphone, ipdad, HTML5 player, Android and other devices?
I have tried my best to play live streaming usine FMLE 3.2 with help of "http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd609-52e437a812a3725df a0-8000.html" but not able to play video using HTTP.
When I tried to play url- "http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m" even in in Strobe Media Player it was showing "Buffering" that's it. But I can play same RTMP URL in Flash AS3 using the netstream very fine.
Now I want to test the livepkgr content via HTTP to Flash Player, HTML5 Player (on Web browser and smartphones), iphone and other devices.

Hi Sunil,
It's difficult to debug an issue when you don't have access to the machine and you can't see what's happening, so I request you to please have a little patience.
For playback just check the following steps and make sure if you have followed them :
1) Delete the streams folder and any .stream file in the livepkgr
2) Restart FMS
3) Make sure you have a crossdomain.xml under root_install/webroot
4) Publish a stream from FMLE as 'livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent'
5) Use this player to playback the stream : http://osmf.org/dev/2.0gm/StrobeMediaPlayback.html?src=http://<your-ip>/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m
If there is no playback, here are some checks you can do :
1) Request for the http://<your-ip>/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m in your browser. You should receive an xml that looks something like this :

2) Check the access log under Apache to see if the .f4m, .bootstrap and Frag files have been requested and delivered. If a particular entry has a status code of 200 then the file has been served by FMS. You can confirm the same on the client side using a software like fiddler.
Coming to the player issue, a playback of *f4v via the vod directive is a progressive download, whereas playback of an *f4m file via hds-vod is HTTP streaming.
I have personally used Spark VideoPlayer and hence suggested the same.
You need to add a component like :

No, flash is not supported on the iPad - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.

I cannot watch any videos that require adobe flash player. I have tried to download their latest version but nothing happens. Any ideas? I can no longer even view my facebook videos.

Just to check, in the directory /Library/Internet Plug-Ins do you see the file Flash Player.plugin?
And after reading your last post I have to ask, did you install the plugin after you downloaded it? Of course anwering my first question will answer this question.

Live streaming audio on flash site

Hello,
I am new to Flash and I am working on a web page using flash, the page itself is going to be pretty basic, but the situation I am in is this, we would like to but a live streaming audio feed on the site and I am having trouble figuring out how to add that. The server it is from is a Broadwave server, and it does stream in MP3. I would like the audio stream to start automatically when the web page is open. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You could build your own player but if you are new to Flash, you might want to just embed or place on the Web page a prebuilt player. For example:

each player will have it's own config setup for autoplay etc.

Freezing on streaming video Adobe flash player 10

I am a newbie and have been experiencing major freezing when watching streaming video on Zap Live/Wildearth TV which uses Adobe Flash Player 10. I have upgraded the player and still getting freezing. Help please!

Odd. Revision3 works fine for me. In fact the opening shot of the video I tested is someone sitting at a desk with an Apple Macbook!
As you get the same error in all browsers, try uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player:
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

SWF created in Flash MX 7 won't play in browser w/Flash Player 9

I just noticed that my website, which I made from a template
from templatesheaven.com, isn't playing in Flash Player 9 in a

I built it using Flash MX 7, but for all I know the template
was made using Swish, which apparently causes problems with Flash
Player 9. Anyone have any other ideas? Still plays fine in FP7, so
I'm stumped. If I open my .fla file in Flash 9 and then export,

Playback of low bitrate flv or f4v from live stream in FMS causes player buffer to empty

We are experiencing a consistent issue when playing a low bitrate (300kbps or less) flv in a live stream from FMS. Basically, the player will will start off with the appropriate buffer, say 5 seconds, then begin dropping until it empties out, and will have to rebuffer. We've tried with a variety of flv and f4v files, all that are 300kbps or less, and we consistently get the issue. Is this something Adobe can investigate in FMS? Or are there any suggestions on how we can get around the issue?

Have You Any Knowledge of Bugs in Flash Player 10?

I have custom software that was developed for me by a Flash animator using Flash Player 8. Everything was working fine. It also worked on Flash Player 9. Now there is a part of the website that doesn't work. I checked with my animator and he says that the problem is a bug in Flash Player 10. He said that he found mention of it on Adobe.( https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-1028). He says that the remedy that they suggest is to transfer everything from Actionscript 2 to Actionscript 3. That would cost me about $2500. I am just launching this website and don't have $25 let alone $2500 to fix this issue and yet the sound is critical in this section.
Here's what doesn't work. There is a section where the kids click and drag "pieces" and put them into photographs and when they release the pieces, they makes a sound. For example, click and drag a chick and put it into the photo and when it is released, it peeps. It doesn't do that now.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me that are less expensive than the one that I already know about??

Flex 2 SWF not loading on the web browser when Flash Player 8 is running

I got a Flex 2 application that is not loading on the web
browser when the users workstations got Macromedia Flash Player 8
installed. Please advice on what could be the issue, i got security
calls included i.e. securty.allowInsucureDomain, crossdomain.xml,
etc.
The application shows no issues on web browsers with Flash
Player 9 installed.

flex 9 is complete rewrite (almost) and its lot mor fast and
effecient) you should't want to use flash 8 if you can anyways, but
somethimes I guess there is not other way out..

Adobe make two types of plugins
First is Flash for a platform.. This is flash for Windows, for Linux, for Android..
If you have a device running a compatible platform, you can download and use flash
Adobe also works with manufacturers to produce one off versions:
Flash for the N900, Flash for the N810, Flash for the N800, Flash for Archos media players
These versions are 99.9% of the time released with the product they were designed for, then forever left to rot.
This second method is incredibly bad for the end user. Imagine if it were Flash for Dell laptops, not Flash for Windows.... If you bought a HP laptop you're out of luck.. If you have an old Dell you're out of luck.. It just wouldn't work
The question is, will Meego see Flash for Meego.. or will the continue with the lame "Flash for this specific version of meego and only on this vendors hardware" approach..
If so, the version of flash that comes with the Nokias first Meego device will not be licensed to run on older Nokia devices, so the N900 will be out of luck
(This happened with the older internet tablets.. no back porting of flash allowed or supported)
We will almost certainly never see Flash 10 for the N900 from Nokia or adobe... let alone an updated Flash 9 that fixes the security vulnerabilities present in the N900 flash plugin today!

So what? Nothing I said is untrue. Adobe have ceased development of Flash for ALL mobile devices, and it is no longer available from the Android App Markets. Only bug and security fixes will be released in the future.

Flash in on iOS was never alive. On Android specifically it is now dead going forward.
Here's an image sequence showing me downloading, installing and using Adobe Flash from Adobe's website on my brand new Galaxy Note 2.
Good for you. I hope you're very pleased with yourself and your "image sequence" creating ability. Shame you wasted your time doing that. I really could not care any less what you do with any Samsung device.
