I was wondering if their are any messenger apps for iPod Touch such as msn messenger, aol, yahoo...
if so how can i get them?
if not has anyone heard if Apple is possibly going to make this?

Currently there's no program you can download and sync it to your iPod. However, there are some web apps you can use. This means the application will be loaded in safari. Here's some:

Must have apps for Ipod Touch?

Hi there fellow ipod Touch users.
Just ordered my Ipod Touch 32 gig thru apple.es and since its my first Ipod Touch i come here to gain some knowledge about my new toy hehe.
Was just wondering what apps are a must have for Ipod Touch?
Apart from music i would like to watch a movie once in a while and apart from that use the Wifi conection aswell.
Would apreciate any input from the vets,thanks in advance for the replies.

scout the iTunes app store and find out which apps will suit your needs. you can do that NOW, while you anticipate the arrival of your new toy. it's more fun that way, IMHO

You appear to be stuck on iOS 4.2.1. That means up really have a 2G iPod. A real 3G can go to 5.1.1

I have ipod touch 3g. Recently i have restored it without backing up. Other words, i lost all apps that i had. So, now i cannot install any apps because all of them have the newest IOS. Where can i find apps with old IOS for ipod 3g?

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Pandora and other apps for iPod Touch???

Does it work really good on the iPod Touch?
Are there any problems with the apps and more specifically Pandora Radio?
I just bought a refur. 32GB iPod Touch. And might just keep the
16GB just for the new software. Because all those apps take up space.

pandora works fine for me.and if you don't have the new software on one of your ipods, then sync the one with the new software, then restore the one without the software, select the option to restore as the ipod you synced, and you should have an exact copy of your ipod. this will include any software upgrades (Get 2.0.1 before doing anything else after)

Kids' Apps for iPod Touch Running v. 4.2.1?

Recently purchased Touch 5G and want to give my old Touch to my grandson who is five. Anyone aware of any games that work on v. 4.2.1 that I can add to the old Touch? Looked in the app store and the ones I tried wouldn't download because they won't work on this older version.

How to download facebook app for iPod touch 2g

Plc. Help me. I have crashed my hardcdisk n hv deleted the facebook app from my 8th 2gen iPod touch..... Now the iTunes store shows that fb for this model can't b downloaded .......... Pls pls pls help me out.

The only way is if you still had a copy of it somewhere. By hard drive I assume that you mean your computer, and that you haven't backed up your content onto an external drive or flash drive (?). If not then you will need to find an alternative way to access Facebook as only the current version of each app is in the store so you won't be able to re-download an older version of it.
Are there any other Facebook apps in the store that will work on your iPod ?

Are there Internet radio apps for iPod Touch 1st gen iOS 3?

Would love to make use of this 1st gen iPod Touch by accessing both commercial and Internet-based radio stations (like TuneIn Radio). But most require >=iOS 4
I've spent a LOT of time searching but it's a one-at-a-time process. Can anyone help?

GPS apps for iPod touch.

I just bought a Dual XGPS150 for my iPod touch hoping it would make a decent GPS out of the device but it turns out that without an internet connection you can't search for new destinations or make any adjustments and theres a lot of issues with the maps. I have only tried Waze and MotionXGPS and so far they're both complete garbage without an internet connection.
Are there any apps out there that can allow you to search with a GPS connection (but not an internet connection) that are half decent? (I've heard about Navigon but it's out of my price range.)

The Dual GPS150 is a bluetooth GPS device that can be paired with the iPod to give it a GPS signal.
I know Navigon is a good option but I'm going to France for 2 months and the Europe map pack is 120$. I can buy a GPS for that price!

Are there any? I gave my old one to my Mom and she can't get anything for it. (She can get on the internet which is the bonus for her)
