Any monitoring tool or administrative commands for Active MQ?

Hi,
I am looking for some monitoring tool or administrative commands for active MQ which can tell me what's happening inside the JMS.
It would help me to understand what's happening within the JMS when publisher publish the messages and when messages are being deleted from topic.
If you know something about it . Please let me know...
Thanks in advance

BTW there's a discussion forum for asking questions specifically about ActiveMQ...

in particular I think your question just got an answer there :)

Is there any visual tool which is helpful for DBA to get or see the live Report,Statistics,Performance for the running Oracle Production Instances.

Are you after free stuff or are you prepared to licence pay a licence fee?
Inthe paid for category the obvious place to start is teh Performance Tuning package for Oracle Enterprise Manager. Quest and BMC also offer dashboard type interfaces.
In the free stakes, there's quite a neat tool called Orasnap.

If if want just to monitor various technologies, lets say BizTalk, then there are lot of tools available for this. BizTalk 360 and SCOM are two main tools.
similarly if you want to monitor SAP- like availbility of SAP services/URLS/Databases etc, then HP OpenView can be one option.
However, if you just want to make sure your business process ( integrated BizTalk/SAP..etc) are up and running then you could write some Automated Smoke test scripts, which will perform some basic testing and make sure all components are up and running.
    Hope this helps.

  • Monitoring tool for SunFire V210

    Hello,
We are running a couple of SunFire V210. These servers are doing their job and we never have to touch them, this is the main reason why we have no expertise on these servers.
One of the servers indicators is actually yellow, so I reckon I must have some Hardware issue with it. Is there any monitoring tool available on Solaris to perform a diagnostic (equivalent od Dell OpenManage on Dell server)?
Thanks a lot for your time.
    Fred

There is no "best" monitoring tool for AS. It all depends on what your shop is using currently for monitoring of other servers / services. You could monitor your AS using AS Control, but it doesn't send you any alerts etc. OEM might be a good choice, but not if you have to install (and but) it for one server etc. etc.

  • WebLogic Monitoring tools

Are there any monitoring tools (say monitoring weblogic server is up or not , finding no of JMS queues and active connections, finding how much java heap is being used etc) available for WebLogic Server? Are there any documents available from Bea detailing the classes available for accomblishing the same.
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Venkat,
There is a company called Precise (www.precise.com) that offers products for
WebLogic, Oracle, EMC, some ERP systems, and CISCO, as well as software that
ties all the information together. AFAIK, their WebLogic monitoring product
is currently only available as part of a "solution" (i.e. it comes in a
package with a consultant and may be bundled with some of their other
    products).

  • RAC (10.2) Private interconnect monitoring tools.

Hello, I'm trying to find any monitoring tool that can monitor the Interconnect for my enterprise RAC environment, I suspect that we have some issue going on there but it would be great if i am able to get the historical data over a period of time.
I have tested Quest central for RAC (Spotlight) but it is way too costly. I have also enabled OS watcher but i am not very sure how to interpret the OSW private network output.
Any input would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi Aman,
You are correct, node1 used for shared storage Disk1- make five raw partitions.
Okay, please tell me if I use another node and use as shared storage then how to connect these raw disk to RAC nodes. Please give the procedure. This shared storage node only PC; not NAS or other expensive storage.
    Hi there,
Well, if you are using only two physical machines, chances to get the things done are small actually. The only option that I think you have is to configure NFS(which I believed I had suggested already) . Other than this, you need to find one more machine, may be of less computing power but should have sufficient storage and use the Openfiler software to use its storage as a shared storage.

I have unusual uploaded traffic size (1GB+ in 1hr!).
I want to watch this precisely to find out whats going on.. My old modems always had SNMP support so a free traffic monitoring tools can be used easily and with precision.
How would you monitor up/dn traffic on HH5 in real-time?
(It seems that the large upstream somehow related to watching Netflix on the smart TV, however I cant imagine why Netflix will use any of upstream traffic, could be a virus on the Android OS on the TV ? someone is mining bitcoins or using it as a peer in some hacker P2P network?)

  • Monitoring-Tools

    Hi,
are there any monitoring tools for web services. How can I observe my web service and tryck the accesses for it. Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Mischa

I have written a free Java performance monitoring tool called JAMon that you might be interested in. It couldn't be easier to use and provides a wealth of information including performance and scalability statistics and more. Other features include the ability to monitor production code, and to disable monitoring at runtime.
To see the type of information that JAMon generates look at the following sample
    JAMon report:
    http://www.javaperformancetuning.com/tools/jamon/JAMonAdmin.html
To learn about performance monitoring, how to use JAMon, and how to
    download JAMon go to:
    http://www.javaperformancetuning.com/tools/jamon/index.shtml
If you know of anyone that wants to monitor there code, please refer them
to this link. Thanks. Let me know what you think.

  • Please suggest DB monitoring tool

Our DB have some performance issues, I need your suggestions to buy a DB monitoring tool to help us to resolve these problems.
If you can share your experiences on the tool, it will be the best.

    Hi,
We don't have enough knowledge on DB.In that case, beware of tools that make recommendations that you cannot understand . . .
Some advanced monitoring tools can be cryptic for beginners.
Is OEM or Statspack suitable to a beginner? Beware, the OEM diagnostic pack and the OEM performance pack are really expensive, over $6,000 per seat:
    http://www.dba-oracle.com/news_tuning_packs_price.htm
Plus, consider 3rd party tuining tools.
Historically, Oracle tools have had a bad reputation, and Oracle's Oracle Expert tool was widely criticized for making ridiculous tuning recommendations . .
Everybody has a monitoring tool to plug, I even have a few that I wrote myself.
There are a zilllion of them, but they all offer test drives, but try to find:
    - A monitoring tool that makes recommendations in plain English
    - A tool that is reasonably priced
    - A tool from a well-know vendor with a good track record
Lastly, if you are not familiar with Oracle tuning, it may be better and cheaper to buy an Oracle health check.
A guru can find tuning problems in just a few hours, faster and more efficient that using a tuning tool.
    Hope this helps . . .

  • A locate command for solaris

    Hi all,
does anyone know any equivalent to the locate command for Solaris?
    Thanks all
Here I'm helping others to find it faster than me :-)
    locate for solaris
    locate equivalent for solaris
how to find files in solaris
how to find directories in solaris
    find filenames quickly

This would be a good question for one of the forums on opensolaris.org, you might
get better answers there. If the file you are looking for was installed via packages,
then you can use the package database to look it up.
I think you have to be root (which is lame). Here is an example for
    the file "libxil.so.1"
