Any New Drum programs UB yet? DrumCore? BFD? Anything like jamstix?

Don't know if there are any good drum programs out there.
What I sometimes still do is use groove agent or jamstix (windoze) to run BFD, or similar which gives you the option to add fills on the fly, with read/write automation (does logic have this as well?) might as well ask since I am posting.
I know about drumcore somewhat, not sure if its UB but it really doesn't give you the fills on the fly when you want.....
I'll try and explain the work flow then someone can interject if they know of something similar in OSX or rather for OSX (UB) or otherwise.
Open Groove Agent and load BFD....lay down some tracks then on play back, hit "R" button for RECORD automation then whenever you hit fill on groove agent it triggers BFD to play a fill, if you hit FILL on beat 3 of 4 its a different fill, same with when you hit on beat 2 of four.
Jamstix (windoze only at this time) is really cool and really realistic in that you also load say BFD and then add fills in the slots of what looks like a step programmer which is really a full measure, but you can vary it or add whatever type of fill you want.
Finding Drum Core not as fluid. Is it UB also?

Native Instruments Battery 3 I have Battery 2 and will be upgrading nextt month form Native Instruments Komplete 3 to Version 4. I tried the demo of jamstix, decent little program, but not as versatile as Battery.

Aha! I have sorted it.
For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin

Any new features in R12 for EDI

Hi all,
Currently POD (proof of delivery) comes to our client through EDI 214. Sometimes due to some problems in EDI this message got lost and the business has no traceability of this message. Is there any additional capabilities available in R12 so that better traceability will be there on messages received,failed messages and reason for failure etc.,?

There is new Checklist functionality in base Release 12 that allows you to generate to do lists based on life events, e.g., create a new template 'to do list' for new hires and then when a new hire is detected, generate a to do list for that new hire and allocate out actions using AME.
For multi business group customers, there is also new Global Transfer screens that automate the process of an employee transferring between BGs.
There is a new Leave of Absence Screen in Self Service, replacing the old clunky one.
Finally, the SSHR Competence Profile screen has been upgraded and much improved.
I would say that there are some 'nice' HRMS features in R12 but nothing compelling an upgrade; unlike Financials as Ramsys says. This will change in a year or so as any new enhancements will only be delivered in releases like 12.1 and so on.
Most importantly though, it will get increasingly difficult to get your bugs fixed in 11i, with only critical fixes getting approval after a while. An R12 upgrade should be on everyone's 2-3 yr roadmap for this reason alone.

A few weeks ago I cleared the history in safari. Since that time it no longer records any new history and the "clear history" tab looks to be frozen. Have tried shutting down, nothing helps. Advice please.

I have shut down the iPad several times, checked to make sure I have the latest update and read everything I can find about history. You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

Look on the outside of the case to see if it has a port with a symbol similar to a Y, or compare its specifications against those of the first two computers on this list.

Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache from the nominated folder that you have set up to sync photos to the devices.

Is there any way to delete duplicate files en mas within the new itunes program?

I've just installed the new itunes program on my laptop. I used the scan for media option to find music. Problem is almost every entry and there's several hundred of them is duplicated and in some cases triplicated within the itunes media library.
Question ... Is there any way to delete duplicated files en mas withing the itunes library folder?
Please don't tell me that I'm going to have to do it individually as that may take days.

Apple's official advice on duplicates is here... HT2905: How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning
to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.

Installer freezes: unable to install any new programs

My Powerbook G4 is 3 years old, runs OS X 10.3, I've never had any major issues.
Now, something new my way, something I have no idea how to resolve: the installer is broken. When I try to install any new program and launch "installer", the computer freezes and eventually I have to do a hard restart. Doesn't matter if the installer file is on a CD or on my desktop. Doesn't matter what kind of file it is - from what I've tried so far, it freezes every time, no matter the program I'm trying to install.
I ran Disk Utility and made sure permissions were okay - didn't help.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem? Is there anything else I can try?

Yes, it was DivX I was trying to install this evening, however I can't remember which app I originally had problems with, but I had assumed it was the installer packages themselves as they were for printer drivers, wireless mouse driver, etc. Since I have now encountered this with the Apple security updates and a more major package in DivX, it seems either Installer or OS permissions somewhere.
I tried trashing Installer, downloading Pacifist and re-installing the package from the Max OS X Install Disc, however the problem persists. I first tried the Apple security updates knowing this would be a valid package if nothing else, and it still fails. Here is the log from trying the security updates:

I saw the Handbrake thread and was very excited the issue was found, but has any Windows compatible program been updated yet? I didn;t want to hyjack that thread...so...anyone know?
(This is whats keeping me from getting this thing, H.264 looks so good....)

Ok, there;s two factors here. Drum sounds, and programming environment.
In my view, you already have Logic, which offers a superb drum programming environment from the start. I have a screenset with the hyper editor, event editor, event float and various other bits on there, and I can do very sophisticated drum programming/editing there.
Now, if you want a simpler approach to programming drums, more "drum machiney", then you want to use a grid-type approach. Here, you can either use Logic's matrix or hyper editors, or you can use the step sequencer within Ultrabeat, using acoustic drum sounds. You can do as sophisticated feel-type stuff here (you won't be convincing anyone you're using a real drummer!) but it's easier to work with patterns - you can always drag them to the arrange and work on them some more using Logic's more sophisticated tools.
So - drum sounds. There are quite a lot of freebie good acoustic drum multisamples on the net - look out for NS Kit, the GSCW kit and the Bulldawg kits in particular.
So, you can do all you want, without spending money at all.
If you absolutely do want to get a new toy, then you mostly have a choice between drum "instruments", that have great sounds, but expect you to be playing/programming them with your host, and so don't really offer programming facilties (DKFHS, BFD, Stylus type things), or the more "virtual drum machine" type things like iDrum, Guru, Battery etc.
Without knowing your working preferences, or exactly what you want, it's difficult to make a recommendation, but I would say you should start of with the tools you already have in Logic Pro, because you might find they suit you pefectly.
Sometimes buying a new toy does make life easier, but often it's just an excuse (if I buy this, I'll be able to finally make the super-dope beats I have difficult doing now).
Buying new stuff doesn't bypass the need to develop your musical skills (I wish that it did!
As a coda, I'll just mention that Stylus RMX rocks hard, with the acoustic expanders and new Orleans benefit library.
The EXS24 and a few drum sample libraries, and freebie net samples and a bit of work will give you much of what DKFHS & BFD give you, albeit in not as convenient a package. I loved the first DKFH, haven't heard the new ones, but I liked the character of their samples.
I heard the first version of BFD and I thought it was fairly bland in character, it didn't immediately appeal to me, although they have a ton of addons for it now, so I'm sure there's stuff in there I'd think were superb - it certainly has a good reputation.
But none of those, despite sounding potentially great, will give you drummer like beats if you don't know how to play/program drummer like beats (or you take the existing patterns/loops that some of those instrument contain and use/edit those), so I'd hate for you to be dissapointed.
