Any nice movie like templates?

I was just wondering if there are any nice template or theme plugins out there that look like the ones in the movies. (like when the camera seems to move from one picture frame to the next in some credits at the end of the movie) I've been making some of my own simples ones like the imovie themes. But was interested to know if there are any out there that I can use for FCE. Thanks for any suggestion.

FCE doesn't work with templates. It's an iMovie or FCP/Motion thing. If you like, you could always make something in iMovie and import it to your FCE project.

Sorry I can't help but I have potentially a similar problem.
We have an Apple TV 3 and after the most recent software update (potentially coincidental timing), our purchased movies & TV shows will no longer play for our US account. We can play previews but that's it. We also tried renting a new movie but that didn't work either. No error messsage, just select play, it thinks about it, then returns you to the same screen again.

MTS converted to MOV/MP4 start lagging and sometimes appear like waves everytime any object move in video

Hey there, I want to ask and need your help. I just convert a MTS file to mov. And it suddenly ruin everything in my Macbook Pro. I was convert it to mov, but when I play it back on my Mac/windows, its lag and sometimes the picture like waving everytime any object move in video. And then start from that, all my video file become green screen. But when I play, it works, its not green but lag/waving picture. I tried to put in to my premier pro, and it starts affecting another footage file. After the render, all footages become waving. Do you have any Idea why it happens? I've been doing this for the last 10 months but this is the first time it happens to me and my video.

What is the best dvd burning program with a nice menu like idvd that works with Final cut pro, I am wanting to burn mainly wedding dvds but also sports and other things we used to use idvd but then upgraded our computers and now we dont have it. idvd was the only thing i could find that worked.

To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see.

Why can't Apple TV stream movies like the iTunes store can?

I'm in the UK with an Apple TV 2nd Gen. 9Mb/s broadband speed checked and have conclusively failed to rent one single movie since I bought this a year ago. Every time I log in, select the film, purchase it, hit play and all I get is "connection error please try later" Playing movie trailers and everything else is fine. Surely the point of renting a movie online is so you can watch it straight away. Lovefilm works just fine via my PS3.
The other day I tried again on Apple TV with the same error so figured I'd try and rent the movie direct from iTunes Store on my laptop, hey presto, 2 mins later I'm watching my film via my Macbook Pro hooked up to my TV.
So the big question is: Why can not Apple TV stream a movie like the iTunes Store can? Of course I appreciate that a certain amount of buffering has to happen but that is never evident on Apple TV.
Anyone got any ideas?

Intermittent problems
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.
Consistent Problems
A frequent cause of consistent failure to enable AirPlay or HomeSharing at all, is the service being blocked on the network. Make sure your network isn't hidden, has a unique name, that MAC address authentication is disabled, security is set to use WPA 2 Personal and that there is only one router/device acting as a DHCP server and providing NAT services.

Using an MS Excel like template for data entry into an Oracle table

Does anybody know of a way, or development tool, that has the look and feel of MS Excel but can be used for data entry and be saved to an Oracle table and be embedded into a JSP page? I am currently using iSupport and have a need to allow users to enter data into an MS Excel like template, once the user saves the service request I need for the values to be saved in the attribute fields of the service request. I need the ability to map the cells of the template to the fields in the Oracle table. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can move file named places.sqlite from your old profile to the new one. It contains bookmarks and browsing history.

If you don't care about saving your current bookmarks, you can skip creating new profile (Firefox does it by itself at first run anyway).
I'd might suggest you to install addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410/|Xmarks Bookmark and Password Sync]. It is a free web service which synchronizes bookmarks and (optionally) passwords with central server, and then to other computers, if you installed it on more. You may treat is as a backup too.

No audio in any streaming movie?!?!!

So I'm not sure if it happened with the Quicktime 7.0.4 update, or if it happened with the OS X 10.4.4 (combo) update, but now when I go to watch ANY streaming movie, I have video, it's really smooth, I kinda like it, but now there's no audio. Up until about a half hour ago I was also sporatically losing my interface sounds (send to trash, empty trash, etc).
I tried loading a TV show preview in iTunes through the iTMS and it worked just fine, but if it's in Quicktime Player.app, it's a no go.
I have repaired permissions, reinstalled Quicktime 7.0.4, reinstalled the 10.4.4 update, reset my PRAM, ran /sbin/fsck -fy in single-user mode, cleared ALL caches (/Library/Caches/, ~/Library/Caches/, /System/Library/Caches/, & /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache) and NOTHING works.
I guess my next step will be to try and run the uninstaller for Quicktime 7.04, and get back up to Quicktime 7.0.3.
Anyone else having this problem? I know my fiancée's iBook was just last night as well... both tried loading the Macworld SF 2006 Keynote and got video, no sound.

Ah ha! Apparently the audio output got changed to 96KHz in the Audio MIDI Setup.app.

I'm running on a new... maybe not so new now that the MacBook exists.. but anyway, I've got one of the new 17", SuperDrive DL, higher-res PowerBooks, maybe the digital audio made this odd change possible, the installer must've just changed it.. dunno.. anyway, problem solved! I've got audio in streaming movies .

Instant Movie Slideshow Templates

Pre8 comes with two Instant Movie templates for slideshows. One is Pan and Zoom and I believe the other is a wedding theme. I like usng the Instant Movie feature for slideshows but the selection in Pre8 is paltry. Does Pre9 come with additionals slideshow templates? Does anyone know where to go for good quality 3rd party Instant Movie slideshow templates?

Not really. Plus it varies from month to month, as they take down old templates and put up new.
In my experience, though, it's not been more than a handful of templates over the course of a year. But that may change also.
BTW, you do know that there are four different ways to build a slideshow in Premiere Elements, right? I go through them in one of my tutorials on this page on Muvipix.com.

Also, did you click on the Alert Moderator link? This is for reporting abusive content, spam, points cheating, etc. It should not be used w/o a reason (one of the above) as what it does is putting the content in the Moderators' queue and hiding it from public view.

DVD Drive will not recognize any movie DVD disk in the drive - thus will not play any dvd movies.

HP G71 449WV dvd drive will not recognize any dvd disc that has a movie on it. Will not play movies, keeps saying to insert disc when there is a disc in there. It will recognize a dvd data disc or a blank dvd, it just will not recognize any dvd movies. I've tried the microsoft fix it, downloaded new codecs, using different dvd playback software but none of that works since the drive will not recognize there is even a dvd movie in the drive. Computer is out of warranty.

It appears that you're not able to play movie DVD's in the DVD player in your notebook. I will try to assist you with this.

Also, are these purchased DVD's or burnt DVD's?
Do the movies play in other sources? (DVD player, other PC)
