Any nice transitions for the *audio* ?
I'm using iMovie for the first time, so pardon my ignorance.
I have my video clips arranged, transitioned, and titled as I want. Now I have to contend with the audio portion of my project. I have three audio clips (one sampled AIFF, two purchased AAC's from my iTunes library) to go with my video, and I need smooth transitions between them. If they just play one after the other, it's the audio equivalent of a train wreck.
Can these be transitioned within iMovie somehow? If not... I have a nice freeware sound editor for the PC (ack!) to make my AIFF fade in/out, but I obviously can't use it to edit the AAC files from iTunes.

If you highlight your audio clip then check the edit volume box you can fade out and in easily.

There are no downloads available for the iPhone as of yet. Come February there will be an SDK kit which will allow for 3rd party iPhone software.

I just put Facetime on my MacBook and Ipad. I can connect and recieve video but no sound. The other person can hear me. If I use Skype everything works fine. I can't find any where in Facetime to change settings for the audio. Any suggestions
Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:
Restore (and reset passcode) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:

If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected (or the device was never connected to a computer) you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:

I have downloaded a Audio Book from Itunes Store, but rencently i have had to reinstall windows, is there any way to re-download the audio book from Itunes, i know that the audio books are one time downloads, but is there any way to get the audio book back as i have already paid for it once and i would not like to pay for it twice.

Issue in FF v 3.6.10: I have a web page which have more than 20 link, clicking on each of these link opens up a pop-up using window.showModalDialog, for the first consecutive 20 popup opens up without any prob but for the 21st n more click it block the popup and do not open. This is m problem, the real user on the web page can click on more than 20 link in such a scenario it may create problem, please help

Is there any Vga adaptor for the Ipad 2 that is VIDEO IN rather than VIDEO OUT? is for a student with visual impairment who needs to view the classroom digital board content from a very short distance, like the distance to an Ipad for example, so the Ipad would be ideal as an interactive monitor with typography and content easy to amplify.
At the moment, this student has a traditional flat screen monitor taking over the table next to him, so no other child can seat in it, and he has no opportunity to befriend and sporadically joke with anybody else. So much for "inclusion".

You'll want to tune your client ports a bit
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj204760.aspx as seen here, and then the client ports would use those ranges which is easier to set QoS markings. I'm not sure the mobile clients respect that setting.

However, the marking of the packets is the tricky part. Windows can do it via Group Policy, but for the other clients you'll need to have the network specifically prioritize ports regardless of DSCP markings. You have to do it based on ports
as the traffic could be peer to peer.

I have updated my iphone 5 with IOS7. Now there is an update 7.0.2 on my cell and the size of update file is showing around 21.0 MB. I tried to update it ITunes but it seems it is downloading the entire IOS. Is there any separate update for the same or I have to download the entire IOS again?
Well when you download the update with iTunes it will always download the whole new version (in your case 7.0.2) even if its just an bug fix. If you already have 7.0 download the update over-the-air.
You already wrote that the update is only 21 MB, so its not the whole firmware package of 7.0.2 you get with iTunes. -

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

Hello. I have just built a website using iWeb but cannot upload it. I curently have the 25gb account. There doesn't appear to be any facility here for the net. Am I correct in thinking I need an upgrade, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
iCloud does not provide website hosting. You will need to find another website hosting service - there are many to choose from - and upload your site there. How you do this depends on what version of iWeb you have.
In order to upload your existing site in iWeb '09 and above:
Click on the name of the site in the sidebar: the publishing settings pane will open. Set 'Publish to' to 'FTP'. Enter the name of the site and a contact address (if desired).
In the 'FTP Server Settings' section you will need to know the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. Your site will be published in a folder with its name at root level of the server, with an index.html file at root level (which will overwrite any index.html file which may be there already). The 'Directory/Path' field may need to include a path such as '/webspace/' or 'ht_docs/' - this is dependent on your hosting service and they should tell you this. If you want to publish within a folder you can add that to the path.
You can then click the 'Test connection' button so that iWeb can check that it can get access to your server space. You should enter the URL of the site in the 'URL' field so that rss feeds and internal links have the correct address.
To publish using an earlier version of iWeb:
From the File menu choose 'Publish to a folder'. You should create a folder somewhere convenient specifically for this and choose it when publishing to a folder: this folder should not contain anything else.
You now need an FTP program (FTP is the 'protocol' used for uploading) to upload the contents of the folder to your server.Cyberduck is free (donation requested): Transmit is $34 but I think better. You will need the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. You can drag the contents of your folder to your webspace, or create a folder there and drag the contents to that if you prefer.
Some facilities that iWeb provided when hosted on MobileMe will not work on other servers: comments on weblogs and photos, password-protecting your site (some hosts may provide this), searching in the weblog, and a hits counter (again, some hosts can provide code for this). Slideshows in iWeb will work on other hosts than MobileMe (they use different code when FTPing which doesn't depend on scripts hosted on MobileMe as the MobileMe version does); however there is an issue with the 'buttons' which control the slideshow which are images hosted on me.com - these depend on images which used to be hosted on MobileMe. I'm the original poster on this thread. I ended up taking my iPad back to the Apple Store. They ran some diagnostics, and found that my RAM was almost maxed out, which didn't really make sense. It indicated a faulty processor, so they gave me a new iPad. I took it home, synched, and it only took about 45 minutes to synch 30 gigs of data. My original iPad took about 5 hours to synch for the first time. Clearly there was a problem with the processor in the first one, but I didn't realize it at first, as it took several weeks before it started exhibiting the erratic screen behavior. Hope this helps anyone else who might experience this down the line.

I have the same problem, and I found out what's wrong, it's not the software - restart, restore and FW upgrade will not help, it's definitely hardware. The best option is to replace your iPad assuming you have an apple store nearby…
