Any one familiar with using Motif Racks Studio Manager program with Logic

I’ve had my Motif Rack(1st Mo rack) for over a year now. I recently downloaded and installed the midi driver, Studio manager v2.3.1 and the Motif Rack 2 editors on my Imac to be able to control my rack while in Logic. When I start Studio Manager and go to add the editor modules I get the following error: "Following components could not be loaded. Please ensure that you have installed required components correctly. It then identifies the two Motif Rack editors.I checked threads on this issue and found some one with the same problem but his issue was never resolved. Hope this is the right spot to post this. Thanks in advance.

The system does that because Yamaha was smart enough to release a universal binary that doesn't work on Intel CPUs. If they'd just recompile Studio Manager without support for the x86 architecture, the issue would fix itself. Apparently they think it's better to have frustrated and confused users scouring the internet for an obscure solution to a problem that Yamaha could fix in 15 minutes.

Hi Sivaram,
1. As a DP functional consultant you need to resolve all the incidents raised in APO DP module( Forecasting, lifecycle planning, master data in APO DP, Planning books, macros , release to APO SNP or R/3 or other systems, CVC maintenance etc) which will also include BW part of SCM -APO related to DP, like data extraction and back up into and from infocubes. You will also support all the interfaces realted to APO DP , for the APO related part of the interface.
You need to reoslve these incidents in the time frames defined by SLAs for the support project.
You will have to also carry out problem management of some of the critical incidents so that incidents do not re-occur.
Further you will have to support Release /Change managment support( if it is part of your contract of Support project).
This willl involve testing changes in quality system, before these are moved to production system.
2 I found 2 crtical issues in APO DP support as below:
2.1 Sales history extraction data interafces from BW system used to have problems : technical problems of interface / jobs in BW running late, functional problems: sales history extract in BW not correct because various reasons
This used to lead to delayed job runs in APO and finally delayed forecasting and ptehr DP processes .
By proactive monitoring by BW team and taking appropriate actions for master data issues, this issue occurance frequency was reduced , but not completely eliminated.
2.2 Another major issue was related to back up process of APO DP planning data into infocubes. Finally by splitting the jobs as per daily, weekly and monthly bakc up procedure , we were able to resolve the issue.

I am not an expert in this matter, but i think i can share some info.
SAP Fiori uses a very different development approach using SAPUI5 (HTML5/Javascript/CSS etc).
I really don't know if there is a way to migrate WDA with your intent, it seems more like a redesign of your applications using the SAPUI5 resources, which can result in a reasonable amount of effort, depending on your WD applications quantity, complexity, size and other several factors.
It has to be sized very carefully, and the new designs must be based on a solid software modelling that suits and leverages the advantages of the SAPUI5 framework.
There is much content to venture into, you can search for SAPUI5 tutorials/info, or add it with Fiori.

It is no longer available from Apple. You will need to purchase a (lack) Leopard retail install disk from Amazon or eBay and then update via Software Update to the final version, 10.5.8.

Has any one had success using JSF over JRun?

JRus is surely a very strange app.server to what I had seen till now. I am facing tons of problem trying to deploy my JSP (has JSF compnents) and it blows out after the first successful load throwing me some null pointer exception.
Also can any one tell me what Tomcat version does the current JSF EA4 works? I have also been getting strange Grammar errors when using Tomcat for the development machines.

Trying to get this "One" sound with Logic pro 8

Hi everyone i spent like 2 hours last night trying to get this sound with Logic Pro 8 soft synths trying to find a sound exactly like or close to this sound: http://home.comcast.net/~tommykry/Weezer%20-%20Troublemaker.mp3
The sound can be heard at 00:19 and through out the song, its like a low bass synth kind of sound that drifts down when its hit, like a portamento kind of thing. In live weezer videos the bass player is hitting a pad on a keyboard so i know its a key sound not a bass guitar slide. ive heard this sound in trance and techno songs as well. I have Sonar 8 and pro tools 8 as well and can look there if i have too, also have an Access viress Ti, But im trying to do this all in Logic. Like i said i played around for like more than 2 hours going through most of all the Logic synths, patch after patch trying to find something close i could tweak, so if anyone has more experience with The Soft synths in Logic Pro 8 and can steer me in the right direction i would be greatful.

In live weezer videos the bass player is hitting a pad on a keyboard so i know its a key sound not a bass guitar slide.
He could just be triggering a bass slide sample...
It's some kind of bass sound that bends down, in a similar style to what a bass player might do. Whether it's a real bass or a synth is difficult to say (and probably doesn't matter a great deal), but in any case it's certainly compressed, and grunged up dirty with some amp sim or distortion...
Try that route...
