Any other place to get album artwork

Itunes store does not have artwork for some CD's I have copied. And some of the CD's they matched up to incorrect covers. Is there any other location to get cover art and if so how do you connect it to album display in Itunes?

If the album artwork you want isn't available in the iTunes store you can add it manually, you just need to have the relevant image file. You'll get information on adding artwork manually (or automatically when it's available) at this link: iTunes for Windows - Adding artwork to songs and other items

Get Album Artwork won't work

Does anyone have any tips on how to get this feature to ever work right?
I recently just bought Hot Sauce Committee Part Two by Beastie Boys on CD. I import the CD into iTunes. Then i shift click on all the songs and right click and go to 'Get Album Artwork' and it tells me 'Could Not Get Album Artwork For Some Albums'
I have no idea what to do. When i imported the CD it imported it with the same exact spelling and spacing for the artist name and album title on itunes. But it acts like iTunes has never heard of this album. I can't update my Genius thing to be able to generate a genius playlist using any song from this CD either.
It's almost like iTunes won't accept or acknowledge any music that was not bought through the iTunes store.
please, does anyone have any clue on how to get itunes to act like this cd exists so i can make itunes get album artwork for it and allow it to be used for genius playlists?

iTunes will only place artwork for albums that are offered in the iTunes Store. Be it the song lengths or order or who knows what, it doesn't see it as matching.
This will have no effect on Genius Playlists. I have songs without album info or cover in my Genius results.

How can I get album artwork without using iTunes on the computer?

I used touchcopy to copy the songs off my ipod touch onto my new computer, so i could then load them onto my ipod nano. I have got the songs on the nano, and theyre still on my touch, but there is no album artwork on either. For my nano, i can use iTunes, but the computer my touch is synced to is, well, dead. So, is there a way to get the album artwork back on my touch?
Also, on my nano, it doesnt have any of the artists or album (name) for the songs

How to get album artwork

Hi. How can I download album artwork in iTunes? I can't create a store account as I don't have a credit card. Stupid that I can't create an account without a credit card.
Does someone have a dead itunes account that I can use to get album artwork?

You don't have to have a credit card, you can buy a iTUnes music card from places like wal mart or use a free itunes code from some promotion off a candy bar, soda bottle, cereal ect ect

When I "Get Album Artwork", iTunes always returns a result that artwork for one song could not be found; but the song is not in my library.

When I "Get Album Artwork" in iTunes 10.4.0.80 running under Windows 7, iTunes can find the missing artwork requested. But it also returns the same result, "Artwork for "Aught 7 - Mother Chorizo" could not be found. The problem is I do not have the song or any song from Aught 7 in my music library. I'm guessing this is an issue with a corrupted iTunes database. Can someone tell me how to correct this issue?

ITunes 7.0.2 get Album Artwork issue

Hello,
I use iTunes 7.0.2. I am putting all my cd's onto my new MBP and for some reason iTunes stopped finding Album Artwork for Albums it already found in iTunes 6 and 7.0.1 when I use the "get Album Artwork" function in "advanced".
I already looked at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304339 and tried it with this option enabled and disabled but none of it helped.
I also looked through 10 pages of the forum already with the search but did not find any help for my problem. so I hope you can help me.

I've just installed 7.0.2 and have the exact same issue. I just imported several CD's and iTunes refuses to find the album art. I've confirmed the ablums exist in the iTunes Store.

Getting album artwork

I've been experiencing a relatively recent problem with getting artwork for CDs that I have imported into iTunes.
Previously I have just used the "Get Album Artwork" function and providing the album was listed on the iTunes store, the artwork has downloaded to my iTune library. Recently this has stopped working, even for albums that I know are on iTunes.
Has anyone else experienced the same? I thought it might be something to do with a recent software upgrade or maybe I have just not got my settings right.
Any insight would be gratefully received.

Hi. I'm new to mac. I've been getting the same problems too. FYI, I own a Intel MBP. I have a huge collections from my previous Windows Media Player. All albums ripped got their album art. But when I tranfered it to iTunes, the album arts did not showed up. I've tried ripping the cd back & try to get album art from iTunes, it failed. It was able to rip the songs but no album art. What is actually happening?

Getting album artwork stalls

when i go to Advanced and choose Get Album Artwork, it stalls when it gets to "getting 210 of 2046". i have all of the latest software updates and dont know what else to do. Any suggestions out there? thanks

That is not true, I left my iTunes open for 28 hours now, and it is still stuck on the same album for me. It's stuck on album 553 of 669, and if I quit, I'm afraid it won't keep the 552 it retrieved artwork for. Please help! How can I get artwork? This problem is the same everytime I try and get artwork, and it stops on different albums each time. It must have something to do with the internet going out for a moment while it's searching.

Having trouble getting album artwork for CDs that ARE in Music Store

I've got about 300 of my own CDs (not purchased through ITMS) on my computer and iTunes 7 only downloaded about 20 covers automatically. I have gone through and made sure all of my albums and artists are spelled correctly as well as putting all of the years of the releases.
I can not get any of the album artwork to download.
Also, the iTunes mini store doesn't open. When I click show mini-store, only a bold line on the bottom of the screen comes up, but the mini store does not open all the way.

When iTunes 7 was first released the iTunes store got swamped by people updating their artwork (like yourself), this meant it would often only manage to do a few albums at a time. In this situation telling it to try again (and again) was the solution.
However by now the number of users hitting the store should be lower and this less of a problem.
Another problem that affects me and others, is that the "Get Album Artwork" command only seems to search the US iTunes store (even if your account is logged in to a different country), this means that at best you might get the wrong artwork, and sometimes no artwork at all. Of course you are apparently in Florida and therefore would want to use the US store and so not be affected by this problem.
I see you have the misfortune to be using Windows XP, and even worse a Dull Inspiron! You might want to check to see if your firewall [you are using a firewall aren't you?] is interfering with iTunes contacting the iTunes store.
Rather than using the "Get Album Artwork" command in the "Advanced" menu, try instead selecting a single album, and right clicking and then selecting "Get Album Artwork" from the pop-up menu.
It might help if you give an example of a problematic album/artist/track name. Also can you confirm the format the track is in? WAV does not support embedded artwork for example.

Benefits of embeded artwork over 'Get Album Artwork'?

I have a large collection of music in iTunes, much of it with embeded artwork. I've yet to upgrade to iTunes 7, and i was wondering are there any advantages with embeded artwork over 'Get Album Artwork'?
More to the point, other than disk space, does having artwork embeded have any disadvantages? Does it slow iTunes (and in particular Cover Flow) down?

I want to get album artwork for my songs, but it wont let me without a iTunes store account, and I don't have a credit card to make one, any ideas.

Go to walmart or target or whereever and buy a visa gift card. 9 times out of 10 they will except them as a credit card online. (I had one on my paypal account with a 2 cent balance remaining until the gift card expired.) Worth a try. Plus then you can spend the remaining anywhere visa is excepted.

1) Seems when I do this, I see a lot more songs being searched than the few I've selected. (So I stop right away.)
2) Will this feature replace artwork already there?
3) Which artwork would be selected for multiple albums; oldest - newest etc.

I have lots of before iTunes MPS's And lots of ripped CD's. So the source is not known (no title).
But the same songs are on numerous CD's today. I am now catching up on a few thousand picts but would prefer an artist picture from a CD / LP and selectable. I dont want iTunes to fill in things throughout my whole collection.
Now that I think about it,,, I dont think it will work at all if there is no title. And I filled the Album field with other info. So I'm out of luck and answered my own question I suspect.

I am having a really wierd issue as well that is probally related. I dont see 95% of the album artwork associated with my music. Also, it seems as if this has gotten worse since I started using that match feature
