Any other US based BB users not receiving mails as of 12pm this afternoon?

Despite receiving loads of emails to my laptop, nothing seems to have pushed through to my device (from my work or personal emails) since about noon today. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

I stopped receiving emails yesterday and then starting receiving again, but all my emails from a certain point yesterday to back in February are now gone. I tried doing a search on the emails to see if maybe these were just "hidden" somehow, but no luck.

Are there any other languages based on the JVM?

are there any other languages based on the java virtual machine? woud sun allow/support that? are there any projects on this from sun or other enterprises? or some openssource projects from some enthusiastic people?

the list counts 160 languages!Ah well... looks like I was rather wrong then :-(I'm not so sure you were. When I first started with Java I expected a number of other languages to appear that would compile to Java byte code. To me it seemed an obvious way for toolmakers such as Powersoft (PowerBuilder) to get into the Java market yet still keep customers tied to their toolset but this hasn't seemed to happen.
There may be 160 languages/tools on that page but how many are in widespread use?

I've just tried downloading two addons to try and fix this from the forum but one wasn't compatible with Firefox 28 and the other started downloading something very dodgy to do with .xpi file converters.

first you have an anti virus problem... duplicated message almost always occur through one of two reasons. Anti virus program barfs on a message (relatively common) Server side message corruption (becoming more common, particularly at Yahoo)
Turning off anti virus checking will generally allow the message that causes the issue to download. logging into the webmail portal and deleting what you think looks like the "next" message to download will usually fix corruption that causes duplication of downloads.
Now to the cleanup.

SBWP inbox not receiving mails

I have a query , two sap user ids say A and B .i am sending mails to sap inbox for both the users A and B . A user is receiving mails in documents but B is not receiving any documents ...in workflow log the step executed succesfully..
when i checked the settings of both users try to send sample mails from both users . for A it is working fine but for B mails are going to the default id maintained in SU01 tcode ..
compared the settings of both users but i am not getting correctly ..try to suggest me where actually to check the settings of both the users to find the solution..

My requirement is three level approval of product creation(article) , completely custom screen,table,business object and workflow template .
When a product is created i am triggering the workflow by using 'create' event(custom), and created two more events approve and reject which acts as terminating events for the approval task . two outcomes are came from task one from approve and one from reject ..here inside task i am using asynchronous method to call the screen ..
when approved goes to second level and so on when rejects intimation should go to below approvers ..
here every thing is working fine but for user B when ever the approve or reject event triggers it is getting error in event receiver mail is getting to his sap office mail .

you have three possibilities to integrate MAPI to a Forte program:
1. using mapi32.dll (simple MAPI) or mapix32.dll (MAPI). You must integrate
this libraries using a C wrapper class (as described in "Integrating with
External Systems").
2. using OLE Active messaging library ( as described in 'Integrating with
Windows and Macintosh")
3. or implement POP3 using an ExternalConnection class.

Unfortunatly, Forte does not provide SMTP and POP3 protocoles.
But, you can use External connections to do it if you need.
You can find a simple SMTP send mail sample code on
http://perso.club-internet.fr/dnguyen/ . The receive should be as easy as the send.
For MIME base 64 encoding and decoding, it should last one or two weeks of coding
(if you need optimization).
One advantage of coding this in Tool directly is the portability.
In your case, on NT, you could also interface with MAPI using for instance the
ActiveX interface.
By that way, you will already have SMTP, POP3 and MIME.

i have created Alert when i check the alert everything finished successfully but i havent received the email.

My iPhone is not receiving mail but these messages continue to flash at the bottom of the screen: Checking for messages, Updated just now, checking for messages, etc. After a minute or so it will flash downloading 1 - 32 messages but nothing is received

I turned the phone off for 30+ minutes and also tried to reset it, but the problem continues. Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.

One account in .Mac mail will not receive mail?

I'm using Mail 2.0.5 but checking the .mac server
directly takes mail out of the loop.
Not true. For a .Mac type account, it will mark a message as read only in the Mail.app when the mailbox is synchronized with the server after messages are checked and read at the server using webmail access and if changed to a POP type account in Mail, any message that is available at the server will be downloaded by the Mail.app even after messages are read using webmail access.
Is mail storage calculated separately?
It is now. You can adjust - lower or raise the amount of server storage space alloted for the account.

Hotmail not receiving mail

I have had hotmail on my computer for 3 months now and recently it decided to stop recieving mail. I deleted and re-added the acount. Now it will send mail, but will not receive mail. My ipad and iphone are still receiving mail from hotmail but not my Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Try sending yourself an email and see if that come thru. You may just have to remove the account and re add it back.

Not receiving mail, but can send it

Out of no where, my @att.net email is not receiving email in Mail, but it can still send it, no problem. I have the email address set up as a POP, with the incoming mail server as pop.att.yahoo.com (I also tried pop.mail.yahoo.com). I don't know what else to do to relieve my mail again. I know that emails are coming in because they show up on my blackberry and on yahoo.com, but not in Mail. Don't know what happened to make it stop receiving.
I don't know if this matters, but I now have 10.6 (but this problem started before I installed it).

Ernie, thanks, deleting MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3 fixed my POP account but not the mac.com IMAP...continues to gear spin without end, even when account is taken offline...i tried turning off SSL (reverts to port 143 from 993 here in Aussie) etc, nor is rebuilding effective...account info does not seem to load either: spinning 'calculating sizes'...i think this relates to 10.6.1 but cannot be sure, definitely did not have this issue with 10.6...iphone/webmail continues to work unaffected.
any other prefs might be deleted to encourage mail to function normally?
