Any page or website, I move cursor one way, and the window moves in the opposite direction;

I.E., just moving the mouse around, w/o holding either button down; tried replacing mouse...it isn't that.
And I mean the ENTIRE window moves on the desktop, not that the contents of the window are shifting left and right.

Sounds as though Firefox is stuck in full screen mode. To switch between full screen and normal, press the F11 key.
Edit: if you do not have an F11 key on your keyboard, right-click at the very top (above any bar that floats down) and you should get a short menu with the option to Exit Full Screen Mode.
Does that fix it?
