Any possible way to fix error code 28? Restore doesn't work and my ipod won't turn on.

One day my ipod just wouldn't turn on and from then on it has been a total black out. I have plugged it into iTunes and it has notified me that the ipod is in recovery mode. I tried to restore the iPod but right at the end it brings up the error code of 28.
I don't want to fork out a lot of money for a new ipod, so if anybody could help me that would be great. Please share your knowledge if you have experienced this and know how to fix it, your help would be great. Thanks!

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Note it could be a hardware problem If you can't get it to work an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ipod Volume to 0 - ANY possible way to fix?

So I think everybody knows the "feature" where if you set the minimum volume to zero, it will not fully shut off. I know people have their different opinions, but all I want to know is if there is ANY way to make the iPod go silent entirely.
** I know, you press the pause button or turn it off. This is not really what I want. When you want to listen to your iPod while you're going to sleep, you want the volume very low. At its lowest volume (when there is nothing around you), it is still very loud.
I will do almost anything to fix this, as long as it does not involve physically opening my iPod. I love this device, but I think fixing this "feature" (problem) would make it much better, at least for me.

This is a bit off-the-wall, but there is a question here, is your iPod a European Union model (was it purchased inside the EU)? As you may know, those of us who have EU iPods have a lower maximum volume than everyone else, so the obvious question (which I do realise you will not be able to answer) is, is the minimum volume of an EU iPod lower than a rest-of-the-world iPod?
But my suggestion is that if it's a rest-of-the-world model, perhaps that's why you think it's too loud but those of us with EU models do not. I don't know - I'm suggesting!
One or two people have carried out comparisons with the two versions, so perhaps one of them may be able to supply us with an answer. If the answer is yes, minimum volume is lower we'll move on from there.
Actually, one more thing has occurred to me. I've seen headphone extension leads with volume controls in them (yes, small size connectors). Perhaps adding one of these to your set-up might reduce the volume to a satisfactory level. Once again, I don't know, but it might be worth buying one and trying it.

HT1459 i tried to restore but there was an error and now ipod won't turn back on

Have you tried resetting the iPod? Hold the home button and wake/sleep button for 10 secs (it can take more). If iTunes won't recognize it anyway, try reinstalling iTunes. Hope can help!

My documents on my iCloud storage got automatically deleted, is there any possible way to recover them? They're nearly 1GB and very important to me.

On January 26th, I downloaded iCloud for Windows and logged in using my account which was the same with the one on my Mac. 2 days later, at 3:27 PM January 28th, my 1 GB of documents on my iCloud storage got deleted automatically. I'm saying this because at that time I was sleeping and both my Mac and my Windows PC are turned off, and I'm home alone, besides there was no suspicious login reported to me by Apple.
So is there any possible way to recover these documents? I'm a teacher and they're very important to me. My Time Machine wasn't enabled so using it is useless.

I appreciate your answer. While it might work, I'm a bit hesitant to remove the other programs as a possible solution since they are all currently working.
With Acrobat 9 Pro failing with the OS 10.7 upgrade, I'm hoping that there is a less severe solution.
Since the trigger appears to be 10.7 and may have something to do with the discontinued support of Rosetta, I could be spending a few hours working on a reinstall without a change. Yes, it might work. The "might" is the part that makes me hesitate.
Is anyone else out there on OS 10.7 and running Acrobat 9 Pro? Any issues with anyone else?

Every time I try to download itunes to my computer I receive an "error code 2721". I checked windows and they think it's itunes. How do I fix this?

I have windows 7 and have tried uninstalling and reinstaling itunes, trying to fix errors with my "Bonjur" service for itunes, and checked with windows to see if the error code 2721 came from a windows error but they say it's an issue with itunes. I'm not sure what else to try.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

I created STO from ME21N tr.code(document type:UB), then I created outbound delivery from VL10B tr.code based on STO.
After that, goods issue is made by vl02n.Lastly , when I want to make a goods receipt based on outbound delivery from MIGO
(with mvmt type:101),it gives me error about"Goods receipt not possible for delivery 80016425: error code 4 in MIGO tr.code" .

Error 4 indicates there is/are no delivery item/items.
Check following options:
option-1--->Check material number extended to the both plants with storage locations
option-2--->Check the material received already WRT the delivery
option-3---> Check confirmation control key in material that needed in creation of an inbound delivery to have GR process
option-4--->Check The latest goods receipt date in STO
option-5--->Check(done any setting) if any billing to be done after PGI and then can do GR WRT delivery

Message no. M7865
Diagnosis
The goods receipt for the delivery cannot be posted.
The error according to the error code:
1. The delivery does not exist.
2. The delivery type is unknown.
3. The delivery is not goods issue posted.
4. There are no delivery items.
5. The receiving plant could not be determined.
6. The delivery items have already been goods receipt posted or contain zero quantities.
7. Goods receipt(effect)movement type to goods issue movement type could not be determined.
8. It is not currently possible to block the delivery.
Procedure
Error code 1      : Check your entry.
Error code 2,3,4,6: Check the delivery and its document flow.
Error code 5      : The delivery must be related to a purchase order or
                    the customer must be a retail business.
Error code 7      : Check the settins for your movement types.
Any poniters to check the setting in PO or delivery or any setting in SPRO.

That is happening in intercompany posting.
I am explaining to you.
say total stock for article AR is 1000 ( In DC --A it is 500 and in store B it is 500)
I have two company codes X and Y
One DC (A) belongs to X and second store (B) belongs to Y.
I have stock available for say article ( am working here in IS Retail instead of material ) in both DC --A and Store --B.
Now I have created PO thru replenishment planning WRP1 , now in PO supplying plant is DC.
Now I did delivery thru VL10B and then picking and then PGI.
Now my stock is reduced in DC by PO quantity created.( let us assume it is 100)
So now total stock in DC=400
Now this stock is in transit we can check thru MB5T. so total stock in transit = 100
Now I have to do GR against delivery , if I will do GR for 100 nos , there will be no stock in transit
and stock of receivibg store (B) will increase by 100 nos.
But I am not able to do GR against delivery so I did GR against PO for say 50 nos. In this case stock in store is increase by 50 nos.
But there is another stock in transit available=50
Now why GR is not happening against delivery but it is happening against PO???
Any pointers

Hi chrissyfromrenton,
you just have to close completely you Ipod (push 5-10 seconds on the button to open/close you ipod and slide the turn off) after open the ipod and it suppose to be correct I hope I answer to your question!

Document flow is as below:

        3.Picking
        4. Shipment Created
        5. Goods Issue complete.
Now what i have to check.

hi i'm pretty much obsessed with garageband. only one problem, i dont have a mac. i spend hours at the apple stores playing with it and making songs with the hook up piano. (yes i am musical so i do know what i'm doing). i was just wondering if there was any possible way that it would work for windows. like any way. i know its kind of a lame question but its worth a shot. and if no then does anyone know any other programs very similar to garageband for windows???

...No. Get a mac. You'll be happier.
But if yo need to stick with PC (did you know that you can boot windoze on the Intel macs?) you should check out:

I have never tried it, but I have read revues that say it is the windoze equivalent of GB.

These are user forums. You are not speaking to Apple here. You cannot get MS products for free. You can purchase the student version of Office for OS X from MS. You can download a 30 day free trial that you can fully activate by purchasing a license key for $139.00.
You can download a free copy of Libre Office which is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows but runs on Macs. I don't know how compatible the presentation module is to Powerpoint.
