Are there any problems anyone has encountered using Google Chrome/Torch?

Torch I see has a built-in Torrent software. Torrent software is inherantly insecure. I would only rely on software from known official sources of public domain and commercial software. If you must share programs with others, or other programs in private, setting up an FTP server via System Preferences -> Sharing and client like Cyberduck, is far safer, and won't slow you down. Torrent software and other P2P software is an opening for files that can be sent as trojan horses which you can open and do harm to your Mac. The Mac App Store is good. There are other download sites, but I hesitate to recommend them as they often have optimizers that actually slow you down. I do not recommend using any system optimizers. The only maintenance a Mac user needs is a backup plan.

Are there any known compatibility issues with iMac and Google Chrome?

Does anyone know of any compatibility issues with iMac and Google chrome. A Facebook friend who is a photographer posted recently that Chrome had ruined his iMac. He stead that it ran an update on itself that made safari and chrome unusable - slow running overall. In the end he had to reinstall his OS.
Is anyone aware of this and should I un-install Chrome off my Mac?

There is nothing official but your post will attract a variety of personal experiences. I once loaded Chrome and found myself with the dreaded MacKeeper malware, loads of pop ups and conflicts with my system. Part of the problem is the huge range of add ons you are tempted to take on, many of which are not as strictly tested as Apple extensions. I would say, unless you have a specific reason, leave it alone. The best browser is Firefox and for Macs, Safari is OK.

When all three browsers are crashing, it could mean there's a problem with the startup disk.
Launch Disk Utility (Applications / Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left then select the FirstAid tab. Click Verify Disk. If Disk Utility reports problems, then you will need to boot from your install disc to make repairs.

Att.mail doesn't work with firefox yet is great with IE or google chrome. Won't delete,move or reply

Go into FF Preferences & set it to be your default browser. This way when you click on an email link in Chrome, FF will open.

Are there any browsers for Mac other than Safari and Google Chrome that are better with adobe flash for my Macbook 2009?

On Safari Adobe Flash freezes at times on popular Flash chatroom I visit and on Google Chrome when I try to type the typing is laggy delayed. Adobe Flash needs to be fixed in Safari and possibly other Browsers, and Google Chromes html5 or whatever flash replacement their browser uses ***** on older hardware.

Go for Safari always, you will have more advantages than any other browser. You can safely install the Adobe Flash pluguin, it will install as pref pane in your System Preferences. From there you can limit its access, block sites for storing info in your mac.
Under the advanced tab of the Flash Player in System Preferences, check “Notify me to install updates”, so you are always up to date (feel free to check out any update directly form the Adobe website to be safe).
Steve does't want to allow Flash for iOS due to security issues (long story). But it's OK for mac, if you keep an eye on it.
Google's Chrome its decent, but you know, it's Google. I will prefer to take the advantage of the Apple's ecosystem, like syncing all Safari content and passwords with iCloud, to keep using it in your iOS devices. You can have an open page in your mac, and go to your iPad and continue with the same page.
Also you can find some useful Safari extensions that will trick the websites to load an HTML5 version of the video instead of flash (like if you were on an iPad).

Error Message when opening Project Plan on Project Professional from PWA 2013 using either Google Chrome or Firefox

One of our clients uses Google Chrome
as their standard navigator to open PWA 2013 that we have deployed for them.
Every thing went fine until we tried to open a project plan using Project Professional 2013 from PWA using the Edit in Project Professional option, we had the below error:
"Project Web App was unable to find the specified Project.
the project was not found on Project Web App. some possible reasons include:
The Project has not yet been saved successfully to the server.
The Project has been deleted on the server.
you don’t have adequate permissions to open this project.
if the project is available in the local cache, you can click the globe in the status bar and select "Work offline", and then open the project, if the problem continues, contact
your administrator."
Please note that IE is working fine with this scenario,
the belwo screenshot shows the error that appears to the users.

Anyone having issues with Expose and Google Chrome?

Here is what's happening:
This only happens when Chrome is opened, the windows display oddly when in Expose.
For example, when two non Google Chrome applications are open, it show one on top and one on the bottom. When Chrome is open, (and only a total of two applications open) it shows one window to the right, another in the middle, and the left is a large blank area.
The same thing happens with three applications. When Chrome is open, the windows are top left, top right, and bottom right. When close, it's two at the top and one in the middle at the bottom. This is very odd behavior and I can replicate it on two machines very easily.
Once I quit Chrome, everything works fine again.

It looks fine to me. Here are three apps (Firefox, Chrome, System Preferences) running with a Time Machine backup in progress...
Here's Time Machine, Chrome and NetNewsWire...
And Time Machine, Firefox and NetNewsWire...
