Adobe Bridge CS6 running on Mac OS X 10.7.5 crashed several times while sorting images . After installing Camera Raw 8.4, images in portrait orientation rotated to landscape and now the rotate image buttons and menuitems are unavailable for raw files including dng's. Camera Raw preferences will not open from Bridge. What is the best approach for uninstalling/reinstalling Bridge and CR updates? Should I reinstall Photoshop as well?

I do recommend that anyone who is having weird issues with iTunes try Dave's suggestion of UNINSTALLING Flip4Mac and see what happens (but will an uninstall get rid of this particular file? who knows).
Good point, and something I should not have trusted without confirming. I just tried it and the uninstaller does not remove that framework. That's a serious "oops" on the part of Telestream (and I did confirm that the Flip4Mac installer does install that framework). The framework folder will need to be removed manually.

Be sure that it does not continue to run. If it was really interrupted, yes, you must run it again. Otherwise you would have a lot of inconsistancies.

It is best to wait till there is a 10.9.1 update as new OS X systems always cause problems to some installations. Better not to risk losing data unless you have a bootable clone that enables you to revert to the original (pre upgrade) state. Haste makes waste.

*Problems uninstalling itunes/quicktime after using windows install cleanup

I was having problems installing itunes/quicktime 7.6. Everytime I tried to install it it would say that it does not have a valid digital signiture. So one of the suggestions I saw on this forum was to install windows install cleanup and use it on itunes and quicktime. So I did but all it did is mess up my old itunes/quicktime. Now when I go to try and uninstall itunes and quicktime from the add and remove programs in the control pannel it does not even show itunes or quicktime in my program list. Any suggestions??

Ok, Update. I was able to remove itunes and quicktime manually after going into my windows task manager and to the processes tab and ended all processes involving itunes, apple, or quicktime. So now when I install itunes/quicktimes via apples site when it gets to the end it just disapears and nothing happens. I searched to see if it installed anything and it didn't, didn't even give me any reasons why. Can anyone help me with this?? It would help me a ton!

Problem reinstalling photoshop CS6 after a crash

My computer crashed last week. I had to change the motherboard and the main drive where software was installed.
when installing Cs6 from the original disk it says my serial number is correct but in my computer there is no valid product for this serial number.
The disk is the original one, the serial number is the one I have in my adobe account and in the back of the box
I cannot deactivate the previous installation as the trial version give you no access to this option.
I had a chat with support service but they were not able to help me and redirected me to a phone number.
¿Can someone help me?

Sounds like your problem isn't one of activation but of having Photoshop properly installed.
You may need to go through a reinstall or possibly a complete removal followed by a reinstall.

I downloaded the free trial this afternoon. But because i can't open the Bridge, i decided to uninstall the Photoshop CS6. But when i started the uninstalling process it says i need to close the dynamiclink.... but i can't find the said link... what should i do? please help me... thanks.

Is anyone else having problems with Photoshop CS6 after upgrading to 10.9.3?

Hi all. I've noticed that ever since I upgraded my rMBP 15" to 10.9.3, Photoshop thinks it's in dual screen mode all the times and I can't do anything (unless I actually connect a second screen and move the application frame to it, then I can work normally).

Because that doesn't work. As I said, if I move Photoshop to the primary screen, I can't select tools (other than with the keyboard), the image looks chopped up, and the panels just don't work. Here's a screenshot to clarify.
This is what I get upon starting Photoshop and loading an image. There's currently no external screen attached.
Here's another screenshot with the external screen attached. Note how the workspace seems to mimick the position of the two screens somehow.

Problem with iWork updates after iOS 5.1 install

iTunes showed updates for my iWork apps, but indicated I needed to update to iOS 5.1 first. I updated to iOS 5.1, and then did the updates for Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. The Pages update was successful. The updates for Keynote and Numbers will not load, but now I can't use either app at all. The app shows up with the loading ticker at the bottom, but when touched, indicates "Waiting", then a message comes up that says "Unable to Download Application", with choices for "Done" or "Retry." "Retry" does nothing and the message comes up again. I've tried restarting and resetting with no success.

Here's how to fix this.
1) Get your playlist in the order you want in iTunes.
2) Create a new playlist and drag all the songs into it from the sorted playlist.
The next 2 are important!!!
3) Do not change the order using any of the column headers.
4) Do not select Copy To Play Order.
5) (Optional) Delete old playlist, rename new playlist.
Sync your device.
The problem is in the sorting. If you don't sort your playlist via the column headers you're OK.

You can lose your ability to backup through TM for any number of reasons, but the most common is what happens after a update. If your drive still works, your best approach is to read this:

did ae install without problem? check the install logs to be sure (Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC)
if it did, what do you see when clicking the executable?

Problem uninstalling CS4 after installing CS5 - help!

I installed CS5 without a hitch.
I then tried to uninstall CS4. I opened Photoshop and chose Help/Deactivate, taking care to tick the serial number box too.
After the uninstall procedure, I got an message that it had completed but with errors.
In Control Panel/Programs, CS4 is still listed, but now showing only 3.77Mb instead of the 300Mb+ that it was.
I then downloaded Adobe Support Advisor and ran it. The diagnosis directed me to this Knowledge Base Article.......

...but then you probably obeyed the correct order in the first place. Anyway, there is no harm in leaving the remnants in place. you can of course make them disappear by removing the relevant registry key(s), but how important that little cosmetic surgery is to you, is for you to decide.

Help Installing After Uninstalling Photoshop CS6

Hello i am needing help. When i installed Photoshop it was flashing whenever i drew or selected a tool and stuff it would flash and photoshop would turn black then normal and it would keep doing that, ( I have Windows 8 Pro) and so i uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and then later on i needed it again so i tried reinstalling it but after it's done extracting it says it can't install because of some CameraRaw7 thing and i can't reinstall it PLEASE HELP!

The flashing is from Win8 and the GPU driver. Known problem but MS not doing much about it. In mean time set GPU to Basic in preference/performance
Camera raw is a plug in. What is the error?
FYI uninstalling and reinstally rarely solves the problems.
