XP erratically, and at random, shuts down, and reboots for no apparent reason. Will run for varying lengths of time between failures. Any reports of Firefox 19.0.0 causing XP to eratically cause a reboot or the system crashing and lockups. Seems to have begun after installing Fire Fox 19.0.0

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.

#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

if I am running a mac OS x that is lower than 10.7.2, is there any way to publich my iweb site to icloud (I have an iphone that meets the system requirements)? I'm using iWeb 3.0.1 and previously had my website published to mobile me.

Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might considerDropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. (not all these alternatives offer all the services previously provided by iDisk)
So it won't matter whether you have Snow Leopard or Lion, you will not be able to upload your website to iCloud. -
My iPhone 5 constanlty reboots, sometimes the screen turns blue and the unit reboots and sometimes it just shuts down. Any Suggestions?
I am having the same problem with my ipad air but mine is so severe that it's just rebooting non stop. I guess the battery will die eventually but it has rendered the device useless. I guess I will be taking it back to apple. Very disappointed. Never had an apple product in 20yrs have such a severe problem.

Restoring the iPhone will reload its firmware.
Plug the iPhone into (the current version of) iTunes on your computer.
Let it sync. Then choose "Restore" from the iPhone's summary page in iTunes. -

The problem is that when another user logs on to another computer the message comes up that their is already an instance of firefox running on that computer even though there really isn't. Only one instance can be run on the network at one time. I repeat that each user that logs on uses the same user name and password but on different computers.

Firefox won't install bc of "Unsupported Architecture" when I clearly meet the System Requirements?
I installed Firefox 4.0 and upon clicking on the mounted image, I dragged and dropped the program into my applications folder, then because of unsupported architecture the program wouldn't launch. However, I read the system requirements before installation and I meet all of the above. I have a PowerMac w/ a Dual 1.8Ghz PowerPC G5 based processor, 1GB DDR SDRAM, and a 320GB Hard Drive running Mac OSX 10.5.8. After which I had to delete the program and restore firefox 3.6.16 using Time Machine.
Firefox 4 doesn't run on a PowerPC Mac.<br />
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

I upgraded to firefox 6 on Monday, and rebooted the system today (friday) when I tried to open firefox 6 it took almost 5 minutes to start up, and then it was completely available for a about another minute or so.
I thought 1 of the key advantages of upgrading was that firefox 6 was suspposed to start up a lot faster.Troubleshooting extensions and themes

Picking and moving Portege M400 causes crash and lockup
I have a new problem with Portege M400 that started a few days ago.
If I pick it up or move it then it will crash or lock up. I'm wondering if anyone has any clue as to what may be causing this and what can be done?
My only guess is to replace the hard drive?

GregIt is a short that happens when the lappie is moved due to the hinge no longer being tightly held to the case.
Took the lappie apart this weekend. Had to do both base and screen as the hinge (obviously) goes into both bits.
1 of 2 things solved the problem for me (maybe both):
1 - Taking it apart and putting it back together again - screws all retightened etc so the hinge moves a lot less now.
2- putting some tape around the wires that are rubbed up against when the hinge moves.
There are 5 wires (3 small, round, 2 large and flat) that go through the hinge.

I think there are some internet problems. If you use a (wireless)-router, maybe a reset will work. You can reset the router by pressing a button on the router itself. Try again downloading firefox.
If this doesn't work, download firefox from another computer and safe it on a USB flash drive.
