Any sales professionals out there know how to maximize 4S use in the field?
Hi All :-)
I am a B2B (business to business) sales professional and I frequently spend the entire day in the field visiting clients & prospects and then when I get home at 6pm I spend the rest of the evening entering all of my notes into a excel spreadsheet. I have the excel spreadsheet on "Dropbox" and I can pull it up using my Dropbox app in the field but I cant add any notes to it via my iPhone 4S. I have downloaded several free app's for Excel and none let me edit the spreadsheet. I don't mind paying for the right app to do this but I REALLY NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIS, or figure out a smarter way.
I don't mind if entering my notes in my iPhone after I leave a client means I visit less clients before 5pm, I just dont want to continue to spend my entire evening doing it when I get home. Any help entering data on an EXISTING excel spreadsheet from the iPhone would be very helpful. Or any suggestions on better contact managers would be great as well. What is working for you seasoned sales professionals out there?

REAPER:
As it's an OEM card, it's possible that MIDI features are ripped. Have you tried by installing nati've software by tweaking the installer?
You find the original CD and instructions on how to patch the installed by searching here using "BadBoy" for CD and "ctcomp" for patching (as for an example).
- on Options/Preferences/Audio/MIDI Devices, select synths A/B
- create new track
- on track I/O config, set MIDI Hardware output to Audigy Synth A or B and on Audio Hardware outputs, add a new one as stereo Left/Right
- on track Monitoring options, enablethe monitoring
- set the SF bank (Do not use big ones but those bundled ones beford getting everything working ... there are some size limitations)
Remember also that drums are on MIDI channel 0.
Hope this helps you to start ... (I don't have SoundFont Bank Manager installed so I can't try if this works).

Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
Then choose iTunes Store;
Then choose Account Management;

It is kind of round about way to get in
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
1) on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
2) Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
3) sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
4) At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Mine is a OEM Version (for [url="http://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?p=2960574#">HP[/url]) I got used for $40, didn't know it was until I had trouble installing driver,s but that's now resolved. Mine is model SB0359 but tag says Audigy 2 ZS and SB0350, but without MIDI port and 394 port. A real A2ZS is SB0350. 24/96 recording and playback.
Everything is working great, 2 ms latency recording on some quick testing.
BUT the Soundbank Manager doesn't seem to want to load any SF2 into Synth A or B , so I can use them in my sequencer (JAZZ++) for playback, and REAPER for recording (eventually). I am unable to install apps as my iTunes states my computer is already authorised, then it tells me to authorise it? Does anybody out there know how to fix this. I am sorry if there is already a thread regarding this but there is 224,613 running atm.

My iPad is a first gen but its almost upto date, I haven't updated it for about a month.

Thanks in advance.Removing the SC Folder worked for me. But as an after thought and another potential problem although I do not think it is related, I had movies authorized thru my wifes Apple ID and she changed her ID a couple weeks ago. This, I think, could have had a contributing factor although not sure.
You have to delete the SC Folder and then reboot and then go into iTunes, re-authorize if it asks, then I was able to sync the movies. Hope this helps a little. -
I download Flash player, proceed through the steps, but it takes me to a page where Adobe wants me to buy photoshop and other products and no way to bypass this and just get on with the installation without buying anything. Anyone out there know how to do it?

No purchase is required to install Flash Player. The offer you're seeing is optional. There should be a yellow 'Install Now' button on the bottom right of the page. Is the button not displaying? Please post a screenshot of the page (How to post a screenshot in the forum).

My MacBook Air display shows only the desktop background, the dock has disappeared. Does anyone know how to restore the dock to the desktop? thanks
The dock can be configured to automatically show and hide when moving the mouse cursor over the current location. You can try to move the mouse over the dock area to see if it appears. Hopefully it will, and if you don't want that setting you can then change it to show permanently in the System Preferences > Dock settings.
If that doesn't work you can change the dock location in the preference settings to align on a different side of the window to see if it appears. That's all I can suggest at the moment.

Does anyone out there know how to solve this one?
I have no music on my computer. All of the music that used to be there is still on my ipod, however. I don't want to put the music back on the computer from the ipod but I would like to put songs into my itunes, transfer them to the ipod without losing the music that is currently on the ipod. Can I do that? Or when I hook up the ipod will it erase everything that is currently on there? thanks to anyone who can answer!

2 months ago my iTunes dj (0n my ASUS PC) lost its ability to shuffle. It will not allow me to turn "shuffle" on, and "refresh" does not work either.
Just connect the new iPod to your computer and setup the iPod via iTunes (instead of via wifi).

I downloaded the latest version of Mozilla Firefox yesterday, full and complete, and I am actually using it right now. The only problem I have had is upon clicking any YouTube video, the box pops up saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (rtsp) isn't associated with any program." But there are no directions or suggestions on how to address this problem. Ive looked at YouTube add-ons and none of them really seem related. Upon the finish of the new Mozilla, I also was prompted to upgrade the flash player, and did so without any trouble. I am only guessing this is an extension/plug-in problem. I really am quite confused!

Discovered a problem when I went looking for some images that were not included in the most recent catalog. After opening up a couple of older ones and upgrading, I went back to the most recent and couldn't opening. Message says it is not writable. And also says it may be due to incorrect permissions. Could Not Create Java Virtual Machine when lauching PS3 Meadis server
