Any Samsung smartphones coming to Verizon Wireless prepaid that will be prepaid exclusives?

I'd like to see a smartphone similar to the Samsung Galaxy Avant that's available on T-Mobile.  After trying one out, I like how the phone functions,
good reception, & texts come up with a lot of suggested words that make texting faster for me.  Currently, that phone is only on T-Mobile & MetroPCS, & if unlocked, it would only work on Verizon for LTE Band 4, since it doesn't have Band 13, nor does it have CDMA on it.  The Galaxy S4 & S5 are still too expensive for last year's models (even the S3 is still too expensive for a phone that was released 3 or 4 years ago, & some models only have Band 13, while the earliest versions are 3G only).  I hope Verizon comes out with some better prepaid smartphones for 4G LTE.

The selection on this page http://www.verizonwireless.com/prepaid/smartphone-plans/, is about the best I have ever seen.  Up until recently there were only 3 phones, if I remember correctly, and none of them were worth very much.  It's possible we may see a few more added to the selection at some point, especially with the new pre-paid plans rolling out now New Prepaid Smartphone Plans: More Data, Same Starting Price, but I doubt there will be too many low-mid-range Samsung's, exclusive or not.

  • Is there ANY wireless mouse that will work with the iPad 2 and Apple's Wireless Keyboard?

I have the iPad 2 and Apple's Wireless Keyboard and would like to purchase a wireless mouse that will accommodate my Apple products. I do understand that Apple's Magic Mouse is not compatible with the iPad 2, but would like to hear if there is any possibility that i could use a wireless mouse with my iPad.
      Thanks :)

You don't have to purchase a mouse. You already have one, it's wireless and the only one that will work on an iPad.

What is the best wireless camera that will work with my mac?

Any reliable brand that claims Mac compatibility.
Different wireless cams (wi-fi versus BlueTooth) may work better for different purposes, so ask your retailer for one that best does what you want to do with it.  For some examples of all kinds and types, click the link at the end of this sentence to see results of this search for your posted question.

  • What is a good wireless printer that will work with a macbook and windows laptops?

What is a good wireless printer that will work with a macbook and windows laptops?

Any printer that visibly supports OS X will work fine. My personal recommendation is Brother, followed rather distantly by Canon.
Recently I have grown to favor Brother printers over the others. They are inexpensive, their OS X integration is well-implemented, their consumables are reasonably priced, and their technical support is free forever. If you need to call them and explain that you have a Mac, you will immediately receive competent assistance.
The third and subsequent choices are so far down from those two they're not worth mentioning. I have grown to dislike HP printers, for all the above reasons.
Read user reviews from vendor websites - Amazon is a good place to start, since Amazon lets people write almost anything they want... right, wrong, or completely idiotic.
Read the reviews on the respective manufacturers' websites as well, but consider the likelihood of them deleting negative reviews.
Process all those user reviews employing your own common sense, and draw your own conclusions.
Consider AirPrint compatibility for future needs. Those features add very little to the price over a USB - only or wireless printer. Understand that not all wireless printers are AirPrint compatible - AirPrint must be specifically indicated. Choose among this list: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
After OS X compatibility, the next consideration should be the cost of consumables. Laser printers are cheaper than inkjets in that regard.
Here is a list of AirPrint compatible Brother printers and multifunction devices

  • Verizon Wireless Customer Support will you give us a straightforward answer?

The technical issues causing such a huge dilemma for Verizon customers has not been adequately answered. There are conflicting messages on the Verizon site (upgrades,) as compared to what we are hearing from customer service when we call (service issues), and from the media (major issues). Could we please get a definitive answer as to the problem and expected rexovery time?
    Thank you.

They wont to Save Face.  They say Billing Issues, yet hasnt affected other " Services, Talk, text, data"
Sorry, But Billing does affect these...
We are unfortunately experiencing issues with our billing system, affecting customer accounts mostly in Northeast, Midwestern and some southern states.  We are working on a fix.
This is an internal billing systems issue not affecting network services; call, text, data services unaffected.  Verizon Wireless apologizes for any inconvenience.
How many People cant use their service cause they Cant Pay a Bill?  DOH ME!!!

  • Wireless AP that will allow more than one security setup

I have a customer that is looking to install a new AP and have
it accessible by their employee's and visitors.  So is there an AP out there that will allow you to setup more than one SSID and have one of the SSID's with access to the local network/internet and the other SSID set to have only access to the Internet??
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.
    Mike

We used the 1131 AP.  We set up 2 different WLAN's.
Business WLAN = 172.16.x.y with WPA security
Guest WLAN = 192.168.x.y with WEP security
The AP was connected to a 3560 switch on a trunk port.  So the Guest WLAN is in a different VLAN and access was controlled through an ACL.  Guest can only access the Internet.
I'm sure some of the other Cisco AP's wil do the same thing.

  • Are there any wireless controler that will accept Downloadable Access-list ?

Currently any vpn user apon connection the network has an ACL pushed from ACS to ASA.
I want to do the same for wireless but I dont use the ASA. Will one of the wireless controllers accept Downloadable ACL's like the ASA ?
    Michael

    Dan,
That would be tricky at best. If its per user would mean 10,000 ACL at about 200 lines each.  hmmm that won't fit on a 4402 now will it ?
I'm using RSA authentication, If I can do it like I do with the ACS/RSA on a per group basis would drop to about 144 ACLs at about 200 lines.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't use the ASA with DACL unless I'm using IpSec.
At this point I'm not limiting myself to the Wireless controllers I thought it would be the simplest solution.

  • Verizon wireless collection that's not valid. please help?

About 4-5 months ago I decided I wanted to start service with Verizon so I went online and ordered a phone. A few hours later I decided I wanted to keep my current wireless provider so I called Verizon and told them i no longer wanted the device. The order had already shipped but they stopped shipment when it arrived at it's 2nd location so the device never actually made it to me. Ok so i figured everything was all good since the rep said I was all set and it was cancelled. Well, about 3 weeks later I received a bill for a phone i never even received...Ok, no big deal so i called and spoke to someone and they could see the phone was never delivered to me and also no usage on the account so he said he cancelled everything and I have nothing to worry about. Well, last week a Verizon collection popped up on my report for a balance of $200. My score dropped quite a bit due to this. I'm still very calm about everything and thinking, ok this must just be a mix up. Anyway, I send an e-mail to the CEO address and I receive a call about 30 minutes later. He looks up the account and sees that the phone was returned back to their warehouse and I should have never been liable for this debt. I told him I wanted it removed immediately (just as I stated in the e-mail i sent) from my credit reports and he agreed that's what needed to be done since I shoudl have never been liable for this. He put me on hold and came back and said he forwarded it to someone to take care of it and they will have it removed and also a letter will be mailed to me showing it's not my debt or whatever. Woke up yesterday and Verizon updated the collection to "PAID" with a 0$ balance. They can't do that can they?? doesn't the entire trade-line have to be removed?? seeing as they know and agreed I should have never been billed in the first place, let alone sent to collections. I guess I wouldn't care since it has no balance but from reading these forums...a paid collection is just as bad as an unpaid collection as far as your FICO, correct? What can I do to have this removed completely? I haven't contacted VZW yet. Should I contact them again and if no luck, file a complaint with the BBB / CFPB?   You guys rock!!!! Thanks in advance.

Wait for your letter to show up also. Like 21 said give it maybe a week or so, don't freak out just yet and see what they do.

I've lost my ipod touch in my house--is there any kind of locator beep I can activate with my computer like on a phone headset?

It works with all iPods.  It is free for the 4G iPod.  For earlier iPod you have to subscribe to the paid MibileMe account.

  • I have an Apple wireless keyboard that will not turn on, even with new batteries.  The contacts seem fine.  What could be the problem?

My wireless keyboard will not turn on despite new batteries.  It is about 8 years old. The contacts seem to be good.  What could be the problem?

    Hi elljohnson,
It is important when replacing discharged batteries in the Apple Wireless Keyboard to make sure the new batteries are oriented correctly. See this article for directions -

  • Is there any driver for an HP Laserjet 5000 printer that will work with OS 10.10.2?

I have an older laserjet printer and since updating to OS 10.10.2 I cannot print. I have been on with HP, and they no longer support this printer, and the latest driver is compatible with OS 10.6. Does anyone know a way to get around this? I really cannot go out and buy another printer, this one is great.
    Thanks

Mention you're using a Mac and HP will give up pretty easily. It doesn't matter whether the printer is new or old.
Since the driver you have been using no longer works, did you try OS X's generic PostScript printer driver?
I agree old HP printers are built well and last forever, and no one likes keeping perfectly good printers in service more than I do, but are you absolutely certain a new printer is out of the question? Faster and much more capable laser printers than the LaserJet 5000 are readily available today for less than $100. HP doesn't make them.
Even finding a replacement your toner cartridge for yours must be getting difficult. The street price for that toner cartridge is about $150. HP's list price is well over $200.

  • Is there any browser i can use on the ipad, that will enable me to upload documents,e.g cvs

i am always trying to apply for jobs on safari with my ipad 3, but the probem i face is not been able to upload my cv, can anyone help pls

I'm afraid not. The sandbox nature of apps, and lack of an accessible file structure system, prevents a browser from reaching into another app
