I want to display $ symbol on the report ouput, for the how can we display currency symbols without hard code?

Not much chance... If such a standard table exists, then during Euro creation, an OSS note would have been released to add the € character, and I found none, fell free to perform some search on OSS with keywords I didn't try.
So better build your own customer table with foreign relaction to TCURC.
NB: Look for symbol list ($, £, €, ¥, etc.) in sites like Currency symbol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I hope your system is Unicode.

Displaying one currency symbol per page on groups

I have a report that displays data at grouped levels only. I need to display the currency symbol only once per page on certain fields. While this works on the detail section, it's not working on the group header/footer sections. Does any one know how to limit the currency symbol to one per page on a grouped field? Thanks.

Hoperfully this will make my problem a little more clear:
My report groups on FIELD_A and sums $FIELD_B at the group level. The report displays Group Footer 1 which contains the group name FIELD_A and the sum of $FIELD_B. The user can drill down on the FIELD_A group to see the detail. I only want the currency symbol for the sum of $FIELD_B to be displayed once on each page - on the first line of each page. When I format the sum of $FIELD_B field at the FIELD_A group level, the "display currency symbol once per page" option does not work. I could use a conditional statement to set the currency symbol for the sum of $FIELD_B but I'm don't know how to determine if the sum of $FIELD_B is the first instance of the field on a page.
GROUP FOOTER1 GROUP FIELD_A SUM($FIELD_B)
DETAIL FIELD_A $FIELD_B

Hi,
Create the Sort version with field Inventory no, so that you can display Inventory no details in all Asset report.
You can get "Inventory no" details by including field "INVNR" in Sort versions for Asset reporting(T.code - OAVI).

SAP Standard report to view the asset balance- Based on the calender year

Hi ALL
Any sap standard programs are available to view the asset balance based on the calendar year not for the fiscal year.
Asset balance report S_ALR_87011964 will display based on the fiscal year in report date. For example I want to view the September month asset balance, Any standard report to view the calendar year wise output.

in Asset balance report S_ALR_87011964 you can view also a calendar year, you can enter every Reporting date in the progrm.
In RABEWG_ALV01 you can enter also a Capitalization date "from to". I think this is what you want.

- If it is for test purpose only, you could use transaction WE19 (Test Tool).
- As well you could write your own program and user MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE function module... but in this case you need to fill yourself the fields of the IDOC
- as well you can have a look at function group KALE...

Currently the keyfigures are displayed in the local currency in the report level. But in the report the business people also like to see these keyfigures in the Order currency currency EG 0INVCD_AMNT is having currency 0LOC_CURRCY but in the queries should also be displayed in 0Order_curr.
Probably conversion can be done on base of * znetprice_CC/0netprice.
Can any tell me how to do the currency translation 0LOC_CURRCY to 0Order_curr.

Question about SAP standard functionality related to the GL master record.

My question is;
Is this a SAP standard functionality to update the description ( long text or short) of a GL account (in master record) in one company code when we change the description of the same GL account in another company code which is assigned to the same chart of account?
For example we have two company codes and both are assigned to the same chart of account and we are changing long text of one GL account in one CoCd. Should it update the long text of the same GL account in other CoCd assigned to the same chart of account? If so, then is this a standard SAP functionality or there is any setting where we can turn this functionality on or off.

1.Chart of account leval
2.Comapany code leval
In chart of account leval Type/Description,Keywoard Translation,Information of Chart of Account of account tabs are controlled ,if u made any changes above tabs that should be applicable to all company codes using same chart of accounts.
u r changing the short text,long text these are controlled by char of accounts leval this should be applicalbe to all company codes, u can't maintain company code leval type and description.

I have a requirement to display the field symbol in ALV GRID. I am getting a error 'FIELD SYMBOL NOT YET BEEN ASSIGNED' when i am calling the 'REUSE ALV GRID DISPLAY'. Can any one help me out..

I have a requirement that i have to display all the GL indicators as a field.
For that i have created a dynamic internal table so that based upon the GL indicators available in the database table i can create a dynamic internal table with GL indicators as the fieldnames.
Now i want to populate the corresponding amount with respect to the GL indicators in the dynamic internal table.
For ex.
I have a database table as follows:
Vendor Id GL indicators Amount
1000 A 2000
1000 S 3000
I have to created a field symbol as follows
Vendor Id A S
1000 2000 3000.
Now my requirement is that i want this values to be displayed in ALV GRID.
At the point of calling REUSE ALV GRID DISPLAY i am getting the error field symbol is not yet been assigned..

Assuming davyfromGib is asking about AppleWorks rather than Pages . . .
If running AW under OS X, System Preferences settings allow you to use the euro rather than pound sign in AW's currency-formatted cells:
System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats > Currency (set to Euro)
AW respects this setting in choosing how to display currency format.
But do note that if you later change the System Preferences back to pounds, the currency-formatted cells in the AW spreadsheet will also change to pounds.

The company code is selected by the user using Input variable "0S_COM_M".
I have created a text variable "ZD_CURR" with processing type customer exit.
I have written the following abap code but its not working.
DATA : LV_CURR type /BI0/OICURRENCY.
WHEN 'ZD_CURR'.
    IF I_STEP = 2.
      CLEAR XTAB.
      READ TABLE I_T_VAR_RANGE INTO XTAB WITH KEY VNAM = '0S_COM_M'.
      SELECT SINGLE CURRENCY FROM /BI0/PCOMP_CODE INTO LV_CURR WHERE COMP_CODE = XTAB-LOW.
      L_S_RANGE-LOW = LV_CURR.
      L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
      L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'EQ'.

Pls let me know how to resolve this issue or what modification can be done to this code.

You should debug your code to check behaviour of it.
Just set external breakpoint (or create checkpoint via tc SAAB) and run your query.
You may run query via RSRT.

I was able to locate a support article for the error you mentioned. The following steps may help you get your device back to working order:
iOS: Restore errors 4005, 4013, and 4014 - Apple Support
