Any SIP/ VoIP Expert? Echo of own voice in SIP conference call?
Hi,
I am developing an VoIP application using Jain-SIP library. My problem is when my application makes a SIP conference call, I can hear my own voice in the phone, however when making a SIP normal call, it won't happen. How do you disable the echo of own voice in a conference call? Thanks for your reading and appreciate your help!
Hello giliadw,
Don’t wait for a built in function because that’s no where soon to be seen in near future. You should certainly contact a hosted PBX provider they definitely provide VoIP solutions for mobiles. You can simply function all the SIP tools through their application. I can recommend you my PBX VoIP provider The RealPBX, they have a decent phone application and services

When I call other cell phones or receive calls from other cell phones, the other party hears an echo of his/her own voice. I do not hear the echo. Is there something wrong with my iPhone 4S?

I cannot receive calls when my phone rings some times. When it drops I can hear my own voice thru the receiver. I cannot make calls either
Same problem here with iPhone 4S and 7.1.1! I was thinking that my phone is broken... but it's exactly my issue.
I've tried with soft reset and phone works perfectly again for a while. I've tried with a full restore and does not solve the issue.
What could we do? -

Here are a few facts:
- the client comes preconfigured with a test account on our system
- you can reconfigure the client to use any VoIP provider
- use it with your own SIP capable PBX (i.e Asterisk)
- dial from anywhere (call history, contacts, emails, SMS etc.)
- trial users with good bug reports get commercial license for free
- quick and reliable support via our forum http://www.fgmicrotec.com/forum/index.phpI had the similiar problem and finally I found solution:

Cisco 2911 Voice Gateway SIP PSTN Calls Fail
Hello All,
I am having trouble with outboud SIP PSTN calls through a Cisco 2911 Voice Gateway. 2911 VG terminates PSTN SIP Traffic and connects to Avaya CS1000M via QSIG PRI Trunks. When calls are attempted outbound fron the PBX the caller gets a fast busy. Debug ISDN q931 shows the call hitting the 2911 properly, debug voip ccapi inout shows the call matching the correct dial peers and debug ccsip shows the invite to the PSTN Provider SBC, however within the invite the "from" address incorrectly shows the calling number with the provider SBC address (see below). does anyone have any insight on how to correct this? Attached are VG config and Debug isdn q931, voip ccapi inout, ccsip messages and ccsip call. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Do any of the ipad minis have a voice recognition
Do any of the ipad mini's have voice recognition, dvd players and usb port to hook your own flash drive into?
iPads do not have USB ports, they are tablets so no optical drives like DVD players.
There is a USB accessory to read photos and videos off of flash drives or cameras but it only works one way and it only supports photos and videos.
As to voice recognition, it depends on what you want to do. There are many Apps you can dictate to. For most text input there is direct voice input option in things like Safari, Notes, etc... -
Does anyone have any experience on :-
1. How much data (GPRS mega-byte) used per minute for Skype over FRING,
2. How much data used for Google-talk
3. Similar apps.
I am using E71, with SIP-VOIP, GRPS, FRING, NIMBUZZ.
Thanks for your help !!
HarryHello giliadw,
Don’t wait for a built in function because that’s no where soon to be seen in near future. You should certainly contact a hosted PBX provider they definitely provide VoIP solutions for mobiles. You can simply function all the SIP tools through their application. I can recommend you my PBX VoIP provider The RealPBX, they have a decent phone application and services -

How to use linphone - open sip VoIP library in Windows desktop application.?
I want to develop an VoIP .net application in C# lang for windows desktop. Does anyone know any open sip VoIP library to use.? I know about Linphone. but it is available for Android, iOS and Windows(app developed using GTK- UI builder). If anyone knows how
to use Linphone for windows then ans also will be appreciated.
I am using MS visual studio for application development. Tell me its compiling steps as well. How to use that in WPF or WinForms.?
Thanks in advance.Hello,
The VoIP seems not MS product and can you clarify it? Basically, if it is third party product, you will need to ask for the API writer for details. For example, find a forum here:
http://www.linphone.org/

Link cocomo with a SIP VOIP-server (Asterisk)
any ideas/suggestions about communicating between cocomo and
a sip server (asterisk based) ?Hi Leonard,
I was interested in doing something similar, and used Ribbit Flex SDK to make calls directly from my Flash app to a phone. It worked OK (although connecting the call was rather slow), but if the Flash app user did not wear a headset then the person on the phone would have an echo (as the sound from my laptop speakers was being fed back into the mic). This is because the Flash Player does not have Advanced Echo Cancellation built in (Skype, Adobe Connect and others have AEC built in).
If you'd like to vote for AEC to be built into Flash Player, the Adobe Bug is written up here (currently has 161 votes, open over a year but no comment from Adobe). This is a shame, as I think with AEC lots of people could write some killer apps that used the Flash Player.
thanks

Can't hear my own voice through the receiver
Just got a 3G iPhone. It works great except that when I'm on a call, I don't hear myself through the receiver. Same if I use the headphones. I can tap on the microphone and nothing comes through. I can hear others fine, and they can hear me. I understand that this ability to hear yourself is called "side tone" and the 3G is is supposed to have good side tone volume, but I have none. It's weird trying to talk to people when your own voice isn't fed back at all!
I tried restoring the iPhone and that didn't help. Any one else having the problem? Anyone have a suggestion for solving it?Yes, they do do that. It is a subtle effect that most people don't even notice -- until it's not there. You can find out more here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidetone
And you can read about sidetone on the iPhone 3G here:

Echo in T1 voice blade for 6500 switch
Dear all,
I use the T1 voice blade for the 6500 and I get a couple of seconds of echo on certain calls. Does any one know how to solve it? I saw from the forum, it is an expected behavior in T1 voice blade. Is there any release notes regarding about this? Thanks for your help
GaryEcho is normally caused by a mismatch in impedance from the four-wire network switch conversion to
the two-wire local loop.
The follwoing Parameters has to be adjusted
echo-cancel enable
echo-cancel coverage
output attenuation
input gain
Also check the following link which has a sample Echo Analysis Case Study and to adjust the parameters accordingly to your topology
