Other than using Synchronica, has any solution been found or released for the iPhone/Exchange bug where messages deleted on the iPhone are not deleted from the server (but rather just left there & shown as "read")?

Yes. The issue here is that iPhone does not issue the "expunge" command after deleting the message. If you have a PC at work and are using Outlook, you may want to run a utility that will periodically expunge the deleted messages so you don't have to do double duty deleting. A good one is here -- note, you must scroll down to the comments for the link to the updated binary that supports SSL if it is enabled on your Exchange server:

I need a permanent fix for the 'mail server not found' bug (iPad 2 3G)

This problem started happening on my iPad 2 (3G AT&T) about 2 months ago. I found the fix posted numerous times on this forum> delete your mail applications & reinstall them which I did (deleted & reinstalled both my gmail & yahoo accts). Same problem reappeared about 2 wks later so I repeated the fix. It happened a 3rd time this wk so I repeated this fix a THIRD time before I left town a few days ago. You have to purchase a data plan to use 3G data but you don't have to purchase a data plan for the iPad to work. You will have full function of the device without a data plan, as long as you have wifi available.
I also have an iPad2 3G. I only sign up for 3G service when I need it, i.e. travelling for an extended period. The rest of the time, I just use wifi at home or whereever I can.

Has anyone found any solution for the noise problem for an iMac 21.5"?

I have recently bought a new iMac 21.5" 1TB. There is constant noise which sounds like it comes from the disk drive. It is very loud and annoying and you can hear it 10 ft away even. I took it to the Apple store and of course it is too noisy in the store for them to hear it. I left it at the store for them to check and you guess it, they did not notice any disk drive problem and return back to me. I am not an advanced users and I tell you I am not complaining out of the blue and it is not my imagination. After digging through the community, I seem to find a number of threads indicating that there is noise issue on the iMac.
Now I am worried that I have returned my iMac. If this is not a defect, I am thoroughly disappointed in Apple for designing such a crappy product. How can they let a product like that out?
Before I give up, does anyone out there have any advice? Is my only option now return the unit?

Millions have not had a problem so perhaps yours is due to a bad install. What troubleshooting steps have you done? Restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new are steps you can take to try and resolve the problem.

I Hit the download link, get the permission windows, and the flashplayer installer window comes up, but doesn't do anything. i left it up all day when i went to work, come home 12 hours later and it was still just sitting there not installing. Just to add this : iWeb -- the app itself -- is still supported,updated only months ago and as part of the ilife '11 DVDs still widely spread even though it is not sold on the AppStore it is official part of iLife. It runs in Lion and there is zero issues with the app. So a training makes sense, doesn't it ?.
They would only to exclude the "publish to me.com" part to be up to date for courses and trainings :-≠

iPhones purchased in the US are NOT guaranteed to work with 4G bands outside of North America.
For what crazy reason did you purchase an iPhone in the US if you live in Greece? If your phone needs servicing, it will have to be brought back to the US. You cannot get that phone serviced in Greece.

I have a group of my images that rotate, and yes it happens oneach. I do believethat I have at one time had the images cover the entire screen, however I cannor remember how I made that happen, just like the desktop. I am sure it is old'ites setting in!

You might try talking to the Apple store manager and see if you don't get more help...you might also contact Apple.com/support and see if they can give you a contact with the Apple Italy offices.
Sounds like you have two levels of failure, the first shop that did the repair and broke a wire, and the second that has disabled something else and isn't helping.
Apple officially refurbished equipment is usually good quality. Surprising this has happened but you need to press on with complaints and try for resolution.

OS X can natively read NTFS of Windows, but not write to it.
Windows can't read or write to HFS+ of OSX, and that's a good thing from a security standpoint.
Ideally if you share files between operating systems you should have a FAT/MSDOS formated USB key or hard drive. (exFAT external drive if any of your files are over 4GB in size) both these formats are universal for OS X or Windows.
If you install software into Windows and OS X to read each others formats, then you have to pay to update/upgrade it deal with headaches.
If you swtich between Windows and OS X a lot, don't need full hardware performance for Windows, you may consider installing virtual machine software like VMFusion or Parallels which can take a copy of your Windows in Bootcamp and place it into OS X as a file then run that copy of Windows in a window in OS X like so.
Advantage here is you run most of your light weight Windows programs like this at the same time as OS X.
Benefit is you can run just about any Windows or Linux version and OSX server editions (not client versions)
Bootcamp only allows Windows 7, that's it now.
You'll also be interested in two fre pieces of software, Carbon Copy Cloner and Winclone on macupdate.com.
CCC clones OS X partition and Winclone clones the Bootcamp partition. Valuable for you.
