Any suggestion on how to get a HP photosmart P1000 to work with windows 7
I have a Hp photosmart p1000 printer which is not supported in windows 7. Any suggestion or work around.
Use the Deskjet 970 driver available through Windows Update.

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

Sound Virus - Any suggestions on how to get rid of it
The last couple of days I have sound playing in the background that is not from any program I'm running. Sounds like a **** playing but sound only no video. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

If a widget isn't the culprit, open System Preferences/Universal Access and selec the Seeing tab.
Make sure Voice Over is not selected.

She has never synced her ipod touch to iTunes, any suggestions of how to get around the password without deleting everything she has on the device? Apple support recommended recovery mode, but doesn't that erase everything on the ipod?
You are out of luck but a Date Recovery company may be able to help if the iPod does not have iOS 8.
If there is an iCloud backup you can restore from that.

If you are certain that iCal is no longer present on your computer...
To reinstall iCal:
1. Insert the Leopard Installation disk into the computer.
2. The disk will appear on the desktop.
3. Double click on the "Optional Installs" folder.
4. Double click on the "Optional Installs.mpkg."
5. Click on (Continue) in Introduction.
6. Click on (Continue) in Software License Agreement.
7. Click on (Agree) to agree to the terms of the software license agreement.
8. Click on the disclosure arrow ▶ next to Applications.
9. Select (✓) iCal.
10. Click (Continue).
11. After iCal has been reinstalled, download and install the Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update to bring iCal up to the most recent version. -

We just installed maverick and the new final cut. On 2 separate computers we have had it crash while using final cut and have lost the project. If you do not have, or remember, the passcode for Restrictions, the only option available to you is to reset the device to factory settings via itunes.

Hi. I have Snap To Grid and By Kind enabled in Lion but it's not working. When I trash an icon, instead of snapping the remaining icons to the By Kind grid, a space is left where the trashed icon was. Any suggestions on how to get Snap To Grid working?
Where are you talking about the Desktop?
I don't see where it is possible to set both Snap to Grid and By Kind they seem to be mutually exclusive.
And then
If I have Snap to grid set I get the behavior you describe. If I have By Kind set the icons stay together and close up the space from the deleted icon.

if you have a 4s, then siri is automatically on the device, she is a native "app". you might have an iphone 4, and then you cannot get siri.
