Any suggestions on how to truly learn the ins and outs of my devices?
I have a MacBook Pro, and iPhone 4, and a iPad 3. I love them all, but feel that I totally under utilizing them! What would you recomend as helps to learn more about how to fully utilize the devices? A quick example: I didn't know how to repair the disk drive, and still do not really know what that means! Thanks in advance!

You are out of luck but a Date Recovery company may be able to help if the iPod does not have iOS 8.

So far I have a few kinks to work out. While running Internet Explorer 8, I get the error message, " Cannot connect to the internet." In Networks on the control panel, it says that I am connected to a local area public network but there is no internet access. How do I establish a connection to my existing network which works with the mac os? Also, of course, programs like Adobe, Quick Time Player, and uTorrent/bitorrent are already installed on my computer. Do I have to download them again on windows or can I import them or share them somehow?
I am about to run specialized GIS software that may or may not need the full machine resources. I am an attorney who uses QuickBooks for my accounting. The Mac version does not do as much as the Windows version. This is from both Apple and Quick Books professionals. I am using Parallels Desktop version 8 at this time. It does not support QuickBooks Windows version per Parallels. Any other questions? I am a highly competent PC user who is new to Macs. I am entitled to my own configuration choices. That said, I know when I need help which is now.
As to the free space issue I have 665.18 GB free space out of 749.3 GB on the drive. I am not trying to run the 32 bit version. I know that it requires the 64 bit version. Besides, it does not get that far in the process. As I said Boot Camp asssitant terminates unexpectedly as soon as you hit the continue button after setting the partition size. Therefore I conclude that it does not have a chance to see which version of Windows that I am using. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version in the virtual engine (to use Parallels speak), but again Boot Camp would not see that since it is not running. It can't run at the momenet because Apple just installed a new hard drive and I have just restored the data from TIme Machine and Parallels needs reactivated, which I have not done yet deliberatley. With all of this addtiional information do you have any further suggestions? Thanks for your time and interest my issue. -
Is there a control over Inbox where every read comment will be reflected as read in the specific community thread listed under "Content"?
As I realised today, if I have read a contribution to a specific thread in a Forum and switch over to my Inbox, that is always open in another browser tab, that comment if also listed there is also marked as "read". That's ok.
But not the other way around. That is making the Inbox less useful. Not to say useless.

Can you explain that step by step with screenshots?
What I like to do is:
Sometimes answer contributions (questions) in the Forums (e.g. InDesign), and sometimes answer them in my Inbox. After answering them in the Inbox, the thread should be marked as "Read" until a new contribution is coming in. Also marked as "Read" in the List View of my specific Forum I am posting and answering. Best would be answered "Read" everywhere this specific thread is listed or popped up until a new contribution is made. Hm. Does that sound reasonable?

I thought it might be the AV, but it downloaded about 30 tracks without problem, its only the video that was problematic.
I've tried again tonight and got a security alert that the firewall was blocking it. So I've disabled the firewall and the intrusion prevention, logged out and logged back in, but it still keeps displaying a -3259 error.
Unfortunately its a work laptop, so I can't disable the AV as a whole because its locked down, but as I say, I've downloaded music videos in the past without this issue.
I can't get an iTunes Network Diagnostics report as iTunes shuts down everytime I try to run it. -

Suggestions for how I can get the new purchases currently trapped on my iPod transferred to iTunes?
I recently bought an iPod touch and had no trouble loading all the existing music I have in iTunes to my new iPod. The problem is that no matter what I try I cannot transfer purchases I made on the new iPod into iTunes. Every time I try, "Transfer Purchases" is greyed out. As a result the seven tracks that I bought on the iPod are trapped on the device. I can't get them into iTunes. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can get the seven new purchases currently trapped on my iPod transferred to iTunes?
I've tried suggestions from multiple support forums, and nothing has worked. The app should locate both phones if they are using the same iCloud account and the app is signed into the account. If they are using different account, sign out, then sign back in with the other account to track the other phone.
If one of them isn't showing and you're signed into the correct iCloud account, go to Settings>iCloud on the phone in question and turn Find My iPhone Off, then back On. -

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.
