Any T code to track changes done?

HI,
I want to know if there is way to find out what changes has been done in all customer and Vendor , GL master data over a given period.
Any T code to track the changes?

Hi Vijay,
Any update activities done on SAP data is tracked by the user ID that made the change. No activation of logs is required for SAP to track these changes.
Additional to the normal tracking done is SAP Audit Logs. These
SAP Audit Logs can be activated to track certain activities. You can always go and click on the changes log and find the user ID of the person who has done the changes.

Hi,
You would be able to tackle this partially by adding a new hidden key figure.
Refer the example below;
Kfig1. Stat forecast: Calculated using stat forecasting
Kfig2. Adjusted forecast: user normally changes this
Kfig3. Hidden copy of Adjusted forecast:
Using macros copy 1st snap shot of stat forecast to Adjusted and Hidden. once adjustments are done, use Macro to compare Adjustments and Hidden copy of original values, or this can be a overnight batch job to generate alerts

How do we track changes done in KSH2?

Hi Gurus,
Some cost center in the cost center group went missing. This happens a lot for the past months. I cannot find any log that record the changes. Any idea how can I check who make the changes.
Already considered limiting the authorization to KSH2 and use auth group. But still need to find the root cause to the missing cost center. Thanks.

In this Screen select your Cost Center Group, Select Basic Data
Click on (Display Change Document) Icon in that you will get all the Changes related to Cost Center Group..

Tracking changes done to particular in SU01

Gurus,
Through an interface the cost centers of SAP users are changed in TCODE SU01 everyday if a user changes the department within the company under 'logon data' tab in 'other data'
I have to trigger certain emails if the changes occur in cost center values of a given user in SU01. How can I track the changes for this ? Is there any table which stores old and new values for cost center changes.

The cost center details resides in table USR03 field KOSTL.
The data element assocaited with it is XUKOSTL.
XUKOSTL does not have change document enabled.
so here is your design,
1. Take the access key for dataelement- XUKOSTL
2. Enable the change document check mark in the definition tab of the data element.
3. Write a program and check for changes in fields KOSTL by checking the entries in CDPOS and CDHRD.
4. If changes are done to fileds KOSTL then trigger mail.
5. Schedule the program everday at midnight.
or
1. Search for user exits which will get triggered during SU01
2. check the new and old value of KOSTL.
3. if there is a change then trigger your mails.

How to track changes done through MM02

Hi all,
We are running MM02 and doing some changes in the material master data.
Now can we get a list on what all changes have been done by any particular user in this transaction ?
We do not want to use MM04 as there material no is compulsory field and we don't have access for se16n to check from tables.

There are few possiblities for viewing the changes:
FOR MATERIAL MASTER:
see changed Material Price by MR21
see Material Change Document by CKMPCD & CKMPCSEARCH
Display all Material Changes by MM04
Use Tables CDPOS & CDHDR in SE16 to Check the Old & New Values.

MacBook Air + Microsoft Word + Track Changes = nightmare

I work part-time as an editor. I use Microsoft Word on my MacBook Air and while I love my Mac for a million other things, it absolutely ***** when it comes to using Microsoft Word in Track Changes mode. After just a little editing, the program crashes. It's constant, it's regular, and it's a total nightmare. How can I best get around this problem without having to use a PC to do my editing?

I'd recommend reinstalling Office, then. I use Word of Mac '11 (same version) without any issues working with track changes. I will say that it can sometimes be a bit sluggish (the application) as the document ages and the amount of changes that occur but never once has the application locked up entirely, crashed or quit on me.

i just got my ipad. Is there any way to see tracked changes in word documents?
Its seems like documents to go can do this? Just wondering if any one is able to validate this.

Update. From the MacWorld Pages review:
"One extremely important note here: if you receive Word or Pages documents that contain tracked changes or comments, you’ll need to avoid Pages for iPad. Imported documents lose all comments and Pages for iPad automatically accepts any tracked changes. For me, this is a problem I can’t work around."
So as of this date, no. Maybe in a future release.

I just discovered that by turning off in tracked changes balloons in Word preferences prevents the software from crashing, but from then on I need to use only the review pane.

Is there ANY way to keep track of changes or versions in a dynamic form, viewed in Reader

I need to provide a measure of content control.
I looked at acrobat.com for help. There is a rather convoluted method and I don't know if I can get my company to go along with it.
I have a dynamic form and it has to be dynamic, so I cannot change it to static to give it Comment/Markup ability - out of the question.
Does anyone know of ANY way to keep track of changes or comments or anything? And if you know, please be as specific as possible.

I wish it were like that!
It also depends on the type of changes you are deploying. If you have MDS related changes, them only importing the files should b e enough(at times though you still need to bounce server). In case of BC4J files, there is no other option.

In a plant for which all insp lots changes done in UD code is to be tracked and the value from whcih UD code to change done in UD code, which tables are to be seen.

Firslty, you need to set the field 'Documentation required' in the QM view of the material master, then the change history will be recorded. In QA12/QA13 you can then click the button 'Change history' to check who and when changed UD code.
Regarding the tables, they are CDHDR (Change header), CDPOS (Change detail), you can get the history thourgh the fields below.
objectclas = QPRUEFLOS
objectid = the lot number like 040000000239.
The user and time of change is in the CDHDR, the content of change is in CDPOS.

Hi,
Suppose you someone has made the changes in T Code OKTZ. Now you want to see the change logs.
Simply go to Utilities > Change Logs
Now give the From date and To date and tick mark the relevant output options and Execute.

Is there any way that I can change ownership (not authorization) of a song so that I don't have to go between my parent's family account and my new account?

So a little backstory i joined the army and get to go home and use the account where the majority of my music is very little, but now when i try transferring these songs to a new device some of them aren't authorized, and I don't want to go through this every time i get a new computer or ipod/iphone. If you installed a Security Update early this month, about the 2nd or so, and not one since then, run Software Update - if it offers another Security Update, accept and install that one. The original Feb 2012 update had some flaws with regard to MS software in particular; the follow-up update fixed those.
