Any templates for Shipping Labels?

Been looking for shipping labels templates (Avery) can't find any.

If we do use the method earlier in Address book and I select Avery 5161, which has 10 rows and 2 columns per sheet of labels, and I want to print a label on column 2, row 2, for example, how do I select to print there? It looks like it always defaults to the first column, first row? If I used that label before on the sheet I need to be able to go to another label on the sheet.

I downloaded iDraw - which is an Adobe Illustrator wannabe for the iPad. You can export to PDF and other formats using iDraw. iDraw also supports file sharing. File Sharing is the iPad/iTunes way to send files back and forth from the iPad to your computer and back again.

There are third party apps in the app store that will allow you to use virtually any printer even if you don't have one of the HP AirPrint compatible printers.
You can even use an app like Pages to create your templates. You can insert art and photos into Pages and it supports file sharing as well. Pages is a Word Processing app and I would be inclined to not use it for your purposes but it will work for some basic designs however it's certainly not ideal for creating artwork.

ZEBRA PROGRAMMING FOR SHIPPING LABEL

Hi gurus,
i have one assignment for creating shipping label using zebra programming into SAPSCRIPT.
page size is 5 inch X 7 inch.
I also want to draw a circle and in that circle i want to write P\B . i.e. no lead symbol.
can anybody give me the sample code to do this as i am new to this kind of assignment.
is there any other way to develop this label using abap language in ECC6.0.

How can I get templates for Avery Labels to use with Pages.

Prior to getting Pages I always used Word. Word seems to bomb out on my new imac. I need to be able to use Avery Labels, but I can't find a template for labels in Pages. Suggestions?

Pages doesn't have label templates built in. You can use Word templates in Pages, but I do believe that Avery now has Pages templates although I only see "holiday" ones.

Z640 about to order, any dates for shipping with Windows 10 ?

As I heard rumours that Win 10 may be shipping circa 24th -26th July , i thought I might delay the order so it arrives ( built to order) with Windows 10
A) anyvody know when the new OS will start shipping?
B) would experienced users sugggest asking for a down grade to Win7 Pro - or is Windows 10 have a good pre launch rep ( unlike Windows 8 did ).
When formulating your advice please note Imam crap with computers and the only thing I want to do is add more discs later . No interest in RAID etc. - just want it simple.
I was going to order with 2 x 16 GB - appreciating that 4 x 8 would be better, but dont want to have to discard RAM later if 32 GB is not enough.

I knew you had the knowledge to move the data; but I've seen a lot of folks get into trouble doing it.
And most have an inflated idea of how much data their systems write.
What kind of write load do you actually have?
Virtually all drives provide SMART monitoring of how much data has been written, as well as projected lifespan, and information on expected program/erase cycles is available online.
The Samsung 850 Pro, for example, should last 6,000 program/erase cycles. Being conservative and assuming a really bad 3:1 write amplification (which is an overestimate), imagine being able to write the entire SSD and erase it 2,000 times.
For a single 512 GB SSD, that would be 1 terabyte of write load per day for almost 3 years. Remember, you can read it as many times as you like; NAND only wears on erase cycles, which happen during re-writes.
Most people do not write anywhere near 1 terabyte of data per day. I use my system heavily and in my case (including it being an SVN server) and I don't even reach 20% of that. I'm spreading the write load across 4 drives with the RAID
array so the load on any one device is divided further.
But you don't have to guess at what you're writing - what does your SMART data say?

With larger SSDs the numbers generally work out so well that people shouldn't even give wearout a second thought. And everyone should do backups to mitigate potential data loss regardless.

Are there any templates for Wills in Pages?

I am looking to write a Will or Living Will. Are there any legal document templates available through the Pages application?

A will isn't something that you draft willy-nilly. There are rules that must be followed with regard to how you go about signing the document, who can/should be a witness to the document, whether witnesses can be legatees under the document, what language needs to be included in the document if you intend upon disinheriting a family member, how you go about setting up time-frames for when legatees vest, etc.
From the perspective of setting-up a will that does what you intend, hiring an attorney helps to ensure that your wishes are respected makes a lot of sense, even for attorneys who have no experience in drafting wills. There are very serious tax consequences that come into play when drafting a will, even if you aren't a multi-millionaire. Do yourself a favor, consult with an attorney. If cost is a concern, you state's bar association probably can direct you to an attorney who's willing to prepare the document for you at a reduced fee.

How do I find template for avery labels in iPages

I lost Word when I went to iPages. Now I cannot find a way of finding a template to do mailing labels with Avery labels. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is in the Print panel of Contacts. Pages v5 and derivate versions have no built-in Mail merge capability without AppleScript programming/integration skills.
Build a simple mailing list in Numbers or another spreadsheet application. Export to comma separated values (CSV) file.
In Contacts, create a new group (File > New Group), and with that new group selected, select File > Import and provide the name of the CSV file. Your new group is now populated with contact information. Clean up as needed. File > Print. You can click on the following image to enlarge.

We are going to have a new SAP infrastructure which is total independent from our current one.
In this new one, we will have BI, PI, ECC, SM and SCM. Also a NWDI.
Is there a template about how to design the architecture?
If not, what will be the guide to design the architecture like this?

Hi Christy,
Setting up a system along the lines mentioned will take a LOT of hard work and effort.
At a minimum your looking at 9 new SAP installations.
SAP PI & BI are MCD abap+java systems
etc.
To be honest i could write you a paper on this setup about 10 pages long...........
There isn't any standard architecture, it depends on your customers / business size, etc. etc.

You can open an Avery word template to make your labels, but really you should use Addtess Book which has all the Avery Lables available in its print dialog along with quite sophisticated formatting tools.

Please help! My computer will print everything but shipping labels.

I have always used this printer for shipping labels. All of a sudden, it will not. It will print everything but. No errror message, I have plenty of ink, nothing has changed. What is going on?

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? What program are you printing the shipping labels from? Does the printer go through the motions but the label is blank or does it simply ignore the print job?

Hi All,
In Admn-Setup-Financials-Tax-Tax code determination, we will select key combination , for ex., BP code & Item. If there are a very few codes, can do it manually. If I have huge number of BPs and item list, what to do? Is there any template for uploading tax code for a particular combination of BP code and item code ?

There are no templates available to upload the 'Tax code determination'.
You have to do this manually.
If the of key combination , for ex., BP code & Item is too many then you can use some other combination like BP code & ItemGroup

Template for ApplicationStructure.xml

Can i specify any templates for ApplicationStructure.xml?
The point is to define some parameters, which i want to set for all future generation. But after each generation of ApplicationStructure.xml i need to change them to my default values (f.e. default date format is dd-MMM-yyyy, but i want to use dd.MM.yyyy).

The TemplateApplicationStructure.xml file is included in the PrjWizard.jar (one of the JDeveloper add-ins). You can change the contents of the jar (though you will have to do it again after upgrading JHeadstart).
Steps:
* Unzip the PrjWizard.jar file using folder structure (possibly first rename .jar to .zip)
* Change oracle/jheadstart/tools/appwizard/templates/TemplateApplicationStructure.xml to your liking
* Zip the files again, making sure that the folder paths start with oracle and META-INF respectively
* Rename to PrjWizard.jar and install in JDeveloper (see JHeadstart installation guide).
