Any tips on getting iPad music to sync after 10.5 installed??

Installed 10.5 and then every time iTunes goes to sync, it cancels the sync itself and tells me so!!
Uninstalled all the iTunes software and re-installed. Removed all my apps. Still won't complete a sync routine for my music and cancels around stage 4 or 5
Really frustrating............According to Apple, I have to buy one off support!! to get help from them..........
Capacity bar shows the changes and then when I go to apply, to sync, nada, cancels every time......!!!!
Anyone any ideas out there??

I have an iPhone 4 with software 5.0.1 yet every time I try to sync in iTunes it goes through the motions and then ubruptly cancels the sync close to the end; why is that and what can I do to complete? (my iPad doesn’t have this problem on the same computer). I had three apps stall in limbo during a 3G sync attempt and I eventually removed them thinking I could restore through iTunes sync, yet now with this sync issue, I can”t get them back.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085#17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that didn't work, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center and the lock icon is in the row of icons at the top all the way to the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

Manually manage music is NOT checked. I backed up all my phone information from my old 3GS phone to my computer, then connected my new phone to sync. Everything else seems ok but music won't transfer. It is set to automatically sync when connected.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, not good, then you can redownload some purchases in some countries.

I found this response to the problem in the MacRumors forum:
"Syncing of music via iCloud (iTunes Match) precludes syncing of music via iTunes. This is not a bug, you simply must decide whether to use iTunes OR iTunes Match but not both, to sync music on your phone. To stop syncing music via iCloud and use iTunes to configure what is synced, on your phone go to Settings / Music / iTunes Match and turn that OFF. Then go back to iTunes on your computer, then Devices / [Phone name], select Music from the top menu, configure your sync settings, and click Sync.
"Alternatively, if you wish to use iCloud/iTunes Match to sync but only via Wi-Fi, then on your phone go to Settings / Music / iTunes Match, make sure it's on, and change its subsetting "Use Cellular Data" to OFF. However, this may prevent you from listening to your music via phone when you are away from a Wi-Fi network."
I unchecked the iTunes Match on the iPhone and the music synced fine.

I am guessing you mean the Camera software icon. There are front and rear hardware cameras on your iPad if indeed is an iPad 4.
See this figure. The camera icon looks like the one in the upper right. If you don't see it, try Settings > General > Reset > Rest Home Screen Layout

Lets say you have an ipad (a new one) and an ipod. Thats all you have. The ipad has 4g. You can have access to other small hardware devices like cables and stuff but no other computer like device and no wifi internet.

You will need to go via your computer's iTunes - to get music into the Music app you either need to download it directly on the iPad from the iTunes store app, or sync it from your computer's iTunes
