Hi dear Kavitha,
U can use S-CAT and BDC for that.
BDC u can record at transaction code SHDB.
Make a template for the same and uplaod.
(ABAPer Help is required fopr BDC though its a small task if u understand the same)

Tools to upload data into SRM 7.0 with webdynpro for ABAP

Hi,
Webdynpro for abap is used in SRM70.
I need to load data in SRM70 (product category...).
ECATT is not working with web dynpro for abap.
What other tools can i use to load data in SRM70 ? LSMW ?
I would like to avoid to create a Z program to load data into SRM70...

I am not aware much.
Product category is a permanent data right . i think we may not frequently change the data right.
Does your business want very frequent update on product category?
I believe if we make frequent changes/modify of data we may use LSMW .
i think your zprogram is a best method to upload the product category.
As you aware we can not change the product category as per standard.For eg. If i create a local product category /hierarchy .Even i can not rename them.
category/hierarchy creation are one time activity in SRM.
please correct me.

How to upload data in a custom table in quality server

I want to upload data in custom table in quality server.
I forgot to tranfer TMG into QA. I also don't send any upload program to QA.
Is there any way to upload data directly to table in quality server i.e. by use of debugging.

As suggested by Jorge you can create data through T-code SM30 (for this you need to have table maintainence generator in development) and get it tranported to Quality and production and maintain the data through it or else to can create a request for data creation through SM30 in development and get it transported to quality and production.

If your data is in a text file , simply save the file as tab delimited.
Then use FM 'GUI_UPOAD' to upload the file data into internal table.

Upload data from excel file to "Fast Data Entry" in FB60

Hi,
I have a requirement from users, they want to load data of G/L accounts items in FB60 using "Fast Data Entry" from an excel file.
I did some research and found out that the framework to transfer clipboard data into an SAP table(http://www.synactive.com/examples/example0016.html) seems to be the suitable solution.
However, I still cannot make it work.
Do you have any suggestion for my case ? How can I load data from an excel file to the transaction FB60?

You can upload data through LSMW (Batch Input).
But you need to convert your excel sheet into CSV format or txt format.
Please take help of your ABAP team if required.
This will accommodate your requirement.

when you enter a record in 2001 infotype you can actually a select the Edit in the menu and there is an option to maintain text against the leave type. I am looking for the same functionaly to maintain text in fast entry screen.

I dont have any document regarding this , although i can guide you writing step by step
Run the transaction scat.
After that it ask you transaction code to reocord.
After that do the same procedure you use for recording then
After recording jsut click on end on processing or F12.
Component you have to mention what ever is yours you can give here something py-au.
double click on SE11
and again double click on SAP....
now it again shows all screen what u recorded here you have to reocrd which field you require now do the step by step press F6 which field required .
Goto export all the fields.
Choose save .
Parameter F7 .
Remove the default fields.
save run

We have different products A,B and C.
whenever user crates an account under these products some X,Y,Z table gets updated.
If user1 creates an account under A then X, Y, Z tables update with some data along with some ID
If user2 creates an account under A then X, Y, Z tables update with SAME DATA along with some other ID
Is there any tool to check whether the proper data is inserting (same data is inserting every time) or not?

Is the update or insert on the table has from different places? In that case it would be better to have them moved to a centralized place may be a package.
If you want to restrict the columns to specific values then you can use constraints.

I know what you meant. As I said, it's not possible to do so on the iPhone. Of course Apple could add such a feature to a future version of iOS, it's only software, but so far they haven't. You can suggest such a feature to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

Encrypting a password is itself not secure. Anything that can be encrypted can be decrypted. That is why Oracle itself DOES NOT encrypt passwords.

Here's what Oracle does with passwords, and what others should be doing if they have to store them.
When the password is created, the presented password - clear text - is concatenated with the username. The resulting character string is then passed through a one-way hashing function.
