Any updated BIOS for Z87-GD65?

I see the last Beta BIOS was released on June 28th. Any new or "official" BIOS updates for the Z87-GD65 board?

It will be here if it is;

  • Satelitte A110-180 - Update Bios for Windows 7 and Linux

    Hello,
I want to change the following settings in my bios on my laptop Satelitte A110-180
    * AHCI for SATA
    * Disable IDE
But there are no such options.
So I thought maybe I have to update my bios.
I found the download page, but there are 2 options: Windows Vista or NOT Windows vista, but I want to dual boot windows 7 and linux.
Wich one I have to download, or is there an other option to change the settings?
    Thank you!
    Bart

    Hi
Satellite A110 does not support such options (SATA AHCI).
The BIOS update will not help you!
Linux is not supported and therefore you will not find any special BIOS for Linux OS!
The both BIOS updates are for Win Vista or OS independent.
Therefore if you are using OS other as Vista then you should take the OS independent BIOS update!
But like mentioned above; both options will not appear after BIOS update!

  • Any modded BIOS for Neo4-F MS-7125 (PCB 1.0)........???

Guys I was wondering if there is any modded BIOS for my Neo4-F (MS-7125) I have. I read somwhere that there is, probably the ,Murdoch modded BIOS....so if anyone can help me with the address.....Thanks a lot...

    Thanks for the feeback
I did what the folks at MSI put in their BIOS Flashing instructions.  I used the live update as stated and didn't get the desired result. I can't afford to have my PC down while I spend weeks chasing down obscure instructions that should have been included in the Flash Bios install procedure.
How would one know what to do to perform this miracle Bios Flashing? Can you explain what the /py /sn /wb /cd /cc /ld /e switches are for? Also, why would one clear the cmos or have to ""Load Optimized Defaults"" when no hardware or cmos settings have been changed? Also, what method are you suggesting with the command line awfl859g w7125nms.1d ???
    Inquiring minds want to know.
    Again thanks for the info.

  • Unable to restore pre-ivy bios for Z68 GD65 (B3)

Hello, I unfortunately decided to upgrade my BIOS, but did not heed the "recommendation" of only using the P series bios for my motherboard with ivy bridge CPUs (I have an i5 2500K). I updated the bios to the newest that were on the page for the Z68 GD65 B3 Motherboard (for some reason it won't let me post external links, even to the MSI website...).
My computer boots and the OS works fine (as do games), even when overclocked. However, when I run prime95 or IBT I bluescreen within seconds (at clocks that previously could pass prime95 for hours with no errors); I have since realized that these bios introduce some issues with sandy bridge CPUs so I want to roll back to the latest non ivy bridge BIOS.
However, when I try to do so with the 22.8 BIOS and the MSI HQ usb flash utility, I get the "ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS" error, and cannot roll back the bios. Is there any way to roll the bios back, or am I screwed?
    My specs:
    CPU: i5 2500K
    MOBO: MSI Z68 GD65 (B3)
    GPU: XFX 7950 DD
    PSU: Seasonic X750 (62A 12v rail)
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB
    Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro
    RAM: G skill ripjaws x 8 GB DDR3 1600
OS: Windows 7 professional 64 bit
OC: none on the CPU currently, GPU is OCed but not relevant
    Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the support for B3 boards isn't as well as it is for G3 boards. For your board there is even no beta for months while G3 boards have seen impressive progress. Z68-GD80 G3 for exaple turned into a Sandy and Ivy super oc board. For B3 I have only very little hope.

  • Satellite A200-1DN - How to update BIOS for Windows 7

I'm running 32bit Windows 7 on a Satellite A200 1DN. I've been having battery problems (plugged in, not charging) and I understand I need to update my BIOS. However I can't find a BIOS update for Windows 7, only Vista and XP.
Can anyone help? Should I update with the Vista BIOS? Are there any other options for solving this battery problem? I've already tried an ATX reset, and uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ian

Theoretically, you can install Windows Vista to update Bios and return Win 7, then. Before doing, try this:
Unplug the computer from the AC adapter and turn it on. Let the computer run under battery power until the computer turns off
Remove the battery pack. Using a soft cloth, wipe off the battery packs connectors and the AC adapters connectors.
Re-insert the battery pack and plug the computer into the AC adapter
    > I've already tried an ATX reset, and uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery.
by the way, did you have the same issue before installing Win 7?

  • Best way to flash Bios for z87 G45 Gaming mobo?

Alright guys. My computer has been acting up a little bit recently with any USB devices on the PC tower iself acting up. Both the 3.0 ports and the regular 2.0 ones too. Constant disconnects. Think it's time to update my Bios. Currently running 1.5 and I believe that 1.9 is the most recent.
What's the best way to flash the Bios. I've done it before via the flash tool about a year ago but cant remember anything about how I went about it.
Is this still the best way? Any tips and hints on what to do, and more importantly, what not to do.
Will I have to update the ME version too or will that be done at the same time.
I see in Live Update that there is also a new bios for my GPU (MSI GTX 970). Should I let Live update install that for me?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Use the later beta: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=169943.msg1311514#msg1311514 (follow flash instructions there)

  • Issues with bios 1A0 Z87-GD65

    Hey !
so i updated my bios to the new 1A0 bios and since then I've got an issue with the PC that it wont shutdown or go to sleep.
I have to force shutdown by pressing the button and after that it works perfectly when i boot again.
The weird thing is last night i could shutdown fine after 16h idle. This has happened twice now so I'm checking if anyone else has the issue or that there is a known bug?

Wow that sounds like it sucks: I've been able to solve tons of problems with my computer, first Z87-G45 (never RMAed) it's been stable a few months and I expect it to be stable indefinitely. The first over four months an official NVidia driver was causing my computer to completely lock up about every six hours, this is the GeForce forms thread from that: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/672846/?comment=4211121. It took me 4 months to finally catch nvstreamsvc.exe leaking, and ultimately lock up the computer. You can see at the end of the topic an NVidia rep says the bug is fixed in the latest version of GeForce Experience, that's all that NVidia had to comment on that bug (pretty pathetic support).
I figured out why the computer wasn't idling to sleep which is in my last reply.
I figured out that Windows 8 picture password failure could have been a virus and I have to enable enhanced 64-bit security features in Internet Explorer. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-security/picture-password-enrollment-failure/c63a5102-daa6-4842-a4fb-2e658e4cab29
I figured out the "Windows Live Photo gallery screen saver themes aren't supported by video card" bug. I have to run the Windows Experience Index test before upgrading to Windows 8.1, crazy Windows bug: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-desktop/screensaver-windows-live-photo-gallery-error-this/26644ec3-9cb5-4214-8bb5-f2882cfff547
I figured out what was causing a %1 on the Windows 8 open with list of photo file types: who would have thought it was caused by QuickTime 7: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6254474
I figured out how to solve an MSI Command Center bug, who would have thought disabled Windows Media Player in Turn Windows features on or off then re-enabling Windows Media player would solve that.
I figured out to get Adobe Illustrator CS2 to work correctly on Windows 8.1 I have to enable XP SP3, and Disable display scaling on high DPI settings compatibility features.
I am just accepting that Intel Rapid Start doesn't work, but hopefully will with driver updates. Just like SLI in the beginning.
Those bugs I figured out on my own by hours upon hours of troubleshooting myself. No support phone call or e-mail was ever helpful at all in figuring out those bugs. Once in a while someone is helpful and is better than me but rarely. I hope you take that with a sense of humor, and I just thought I'd dump some troubleshooting solutions out there, if you ever run into anything.

  • Ivy BIOS For P67A-GD65-GD55-GD53 [MS-7681] Mainboards

    Ivy support for P67 GD65 is now available. I have personally tested it. It is genuine. Recommend to use the DOS method, and please, follow the instructions carefully;
    >> Ivy Support <<

Yes. Click BIOS II is incorporated. Yes, the UEFI/BIOS System Information shows the ME version. Currently, yes, a Sandy is installed. The answer is yes, it was worth it. For flashing, I used a standard bootable USB stick (not the forum method or forum key), in the DOS mode. I strongly recommend the Windows method 'not' be used. I see lower CPU voltages being needed for the same clock speeds.
    Quote
Has anyone read the manuall? It says on p15 (update under dos): "2.  Extract the file into a USB pen drive."
How to do this? Double clicking on the file wants to update the bios on the next restart (after clicking yes) and there's no option to "extract" anything?
    @HU16E
How did you flash this under dos and how did you "extarct" whatever is in there?
I just followed the guide information. Just unpacked everything & placed the unpacked BIOS file out of the unpacked BIOS folder & placed it on the USB stick. Typed the BIOS file name exactly as it shows when prompted, let it do it's thing. Just don't pull out the USB stick too early. You will end up with a bricked board. After install is over in DOS method, just double clicked on the unpacked driver package & it auto installed everything.

  • Any Update Available for 9300?

Is there any possible update available for BlackBerry 9300 my OS Version is 6.0.0.526 (2342). I haven't updated my phone from the day I bought it. Please help me out with any possible update available for my BlackBerry. Thanks. Jasbir

    Hello,
You can search the official download portal here:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Sadly, it's first sorted by carrier (since the carriers actually control the release of the OS to their users), so searching for your model number takes some work indeed. But, you can perhaps get a little help in this thread:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Curve/9300-the-official-OS-releases/td-p/1330551#n...
Our friend Xandrex attempts to keep up a list that is better sorted, but he's not always able to keep it up to date as fast as he'd like. But, nevertheless, his thread will at least help you narrow down the carriers to look at in the download portal.
    Good luck!

  • Help! Bios+ME Z87-GD65 Bios update will not work

    Hey everyone,
I'm having an issue, trying to update the bios. I'm currently on 1.3 and trying to update to 1.B to no success.
I have run live update 6.11 which found the new bios and went to install, but because i run win7x64 it looks for Intel Management engine driver which is not available for the board, as it appears, as its installing the Intel ME driver it comes up saying my PC doesn't meet the requirements, assuming that because of x64 OS. ((OR ITS TOO AWESOME)) So No bios update..
So i then used the files i downloaded from MSI website for BIOS 1.B, go to m-flash in the bios, follow the prompts for "bios flash with ME" and FROZEN!
Nothing happens and if i didn't knock the mouse i wouldn't have realized for some time.. No progress bar no anything, frozen screen, so i hit RESET ! Try again... nothing... Same ...
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Is there any updates available for Acrobat 7.0 to be used with Vista?

It seems to be an uncompatibilty with Vista that I acquired yesterday. No problem with XP but struggling with Vista. A guy in Dublin over the phone (when I registered the product) said it was not compatible and that is it. No solution he was aware of. The message given as a code error is 93: -2 or a window appears in Acrobat saying:
    HKCMD.EXE and IGFXTRAY.EXE - BAD IMAGE
C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/IGFXRES.DLL IS EITHER NOT DESIGNED TO RUN ON WINDOWS OR IT CONTAINS AN ERROR.
The suggestion is to desinstal and reinstall software. I have tried this but still the same problem. I have tried so many times that I could not activate the software automatically over the internet - so called this guy in Dublin...
I reckon that the suggested update to Acrobat 7.0.1 is not good as when installed, repeated error messages come up! I am reluctant to try to download it again just to try because I am scared that I will have to call Dublin again to activate the software...
    Any suggestion on the above?
    Thanks guys.

    Starting here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
You could click the individual update links to read the descriptions of what is included in each update
The current version 9 is designed for Vista (as well as XP)
As far as I know, version 8 would work with Vista AFTER you applied the updates
