Any way of getting Real Media files to play in Front Row?

I was just wondering if there is any way to get Real Media files to play in Front Row? I realise this is probably not possible, but I thought I'd ask people who know more about this than me!!
I do have Real Player installed if that helps......

Probably not right now. Since Front Row uses iPhoto to play slideshows, the DVD Player to play DVDs, iTunes to play MP3s and the QuickTime Player to play videos, there's no way now to change the default video player application. All of those connections are hard-wired into the software. Apple has not released any kind of SDK (software development kit) for third parties to add on to Front Row, so it would have to be an unauthorized hack to get another video player to run. I might suggest you send Apple some Mac OS X feedback and let them know you'd like to see third party add-ons to Front Row.

Any way to get an image file's height?

I am now trying to dynamically insert a Canvas component with
an image component inside of it. I need to re-used the code for
many images. Apparently it is only working if I give the canvas a
width and height, which needs to be the size of the image file.
How can I do this?

Images are just display objects. You should be able to grab
the measuredWidth and measuredHeight properties off of it to
determine how big your canvas needs to be. If you're dynamically
changing the source of your image, watch for the dataChange event
that the image dispatches when its source changes.

You do not need a serial number. Select "Music Purchases" then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll see an "Email Us" button which will take you to a form via which you can contact the iTunes Store.

I'm not sure about older versions, but in Pages 3.x (OS X 10.9.x) select File > Revert To > Browse All Versions. Hopefully there will be an earlier version that you can "revert to".

Think you need to send a Image file named ("abc.gif")
now develop a server using ServerSocket and connect it in local IP and any PORT
For example i think ur server is connected in "localhost" and 9000 port.
Now make ur server educated using some commands.
For example:
FileName: <File Name String>
[Means new file is sending by connected client]
FileSize: <File size long or int value>
[ So that ur server can determind about the total length of sender file]

Is there any way to get .wav files to play on iOS devices? I know some apps can play .wav however I was looking to have safari load a suitable player as needed, but it shows a audio file with a line across it... and does not play the file. Any workaround? Thanks,

That is very helpful, thanks. However, that ends up presenting two other problems...
Initially, the original .wav file has to be downloaded somewhere, how does one download a file from Safari to the phone and then open the file with the app? Is there any way to configure iOS to always use an app for a particular file type? How does iOS handle file types? Do you know why safari does not allow add-ons? Can I configure another app as the 'default' browser?

Flash for all. Now we are trying Captivate for better and faster
results. I have few swf files and i inserted al files in Captivate
and i published. So instead of getting single output, am getting
all the swfs, skin swf and html file. Html file is accessing all
swfs and works. But it is not working in Dockers. Single swf will
only work in Dockers. So Wat to do? Is there any way to get out as
a single swf file from captivate. please Help mee.

If 'Dockers' cannot handle a .zip file as the content and
instead
requires a single, uncompressed content file, then it is not
SCORM-compliant. The SCORM specification requires the LMS to
handle a
'pif' file (most common is .zip) which contains the lesson
and the
required manifest file. If Dockers doesn't support that then
you can't
do SCORM-compliant content.

Any way to get only new updates for disconnected WSUS?

I have two servers set up. One is online, getting the new updates correctly. The other one is offline where I successfully was able to transfer the approve updates from the online WSUS. My work requires me to get new updates and transfer the new updates
from the online to offline WSUS once in a while. The problem is that I cannot use any external hard drive for data transfer due to security reasons. I can only use DVD of which we only have duel layer (8.5GB max) as our highest.
My question is any way to get the newest updates only and be able to plug them in the WSUScontent folder in the offline WSUS? I rather not have to span 7-8 DVDs for a 61GB folder of all the updates each time. I would love any method or advice that can
be offered. I'm limited on what third-party software I can use as well unfortunately.

You could probably work something out, using ROBOCOPY and it's various comparison operators (such as Archive bit, or date/timestamp).
You'd need to have the "last file set prepared for the offline server" available, to do the comparison. Then, tinker with the comparison operators to determine the set which works for you. This should give you the "delta", and then you could
burn the "delta" files/folders to your media.
Depending on your OS in use, ROBOCOPY might already be built-in for you (so no third-party software needed)

Not to doubt you, but something sounds fishy. I can see accidentally clicking Restore, but to load your Touch's information you would have had to select your Touch's backup file after restoring, which would be hard to do by accident -- unless your iPhone and Touch have the same name?
In any case, your iPhone should have its own backup file on your computer. You can click Restore again and this time select the iPhone's backup file (there should be a device name and date associated with the pop-up window at the end of the restore process). This process will erase your iPhone, reload the OS, and then when you select your backup file then all your iPhone settings, data, sync options, etc. will be re-loaded, including your media (if you auto-sync ... if you manually manage music and video on the iPhone then you'll need to re-select the items you want loaded onto it).
