Any way to convert a file from Movie playlist to TV show playlist?

Hi, I just uploaded a few tv shows from my computer to itunes, but unfortunately, the tv show i uploaded went to the Movies playlist.
I cannot drag the file over to tv show no matter how hard i try. It stays on Movies.
Is there any way to change this?
Thanks!

You can right click on the title, and choose GET INFO, there's a tab there, i think it's OPTION and choose TV SHOW (default is on MOVIES)

  • Is there any way to get the files from other computer ?

    Hai all,
    I have 2 computers connected. I know the IP address of other computer. Is there any way to get the files from other computer. (for e.g. I want to get the files from specific folder. In Java netwroking is it possible? (Any programs)
    regards,

    Bro Take it easy.
    Think you need to send a Image file named ("abc.gif")
    now develop a server using ServerSocket and connect it in local IP and any PORT
    For example i think ur server is connected in "localhost" and 9000 port.
    Now make ur server educated using some commands.
    For example:
    FileName: <File Name String>
    [Means new file is sending by connected client]
    FileSize: <File size long or int value>
    [ So that ur server can determind about the total length of sender file]
    DataModeOpen
    [Now your client will send its image data, this command means your client software is sending data]
    fjadlkfjaofaijojfwoeiurfodkjflsajlfksa
    l23j4lj23lkjlasjfoq23j4rokjelfkjasldkf
    2o3j4lk2j3ljslakdjf2l3j4 l23kjlk23k4j
    DataModeClose
    [Means file sending finished]
    Close
    [Means your client connection is closed]
    Now develop a client supporting this command.
    For example(Server):
    String getFileName=null;
    long getFileSize=0;
    public handleCommand(String getCmd) {
        if(getCmd.startsWith("FileName")) {
                String[] splitData=getCmd.split(":");
                this.getFileName=   splitData[1];
                outPutStream.writeBytes("+OK");
        } else if(getCmd.startsWith("FileSize")) {
                String[] splitData=getCmd.split(":");
                this.getFileSize=Long.parseLong(splitData[1]);
                outPutStream.writeBytes("+OK");
        } else if(getCmd.startsWith("DataModeOpen")) {
               //data mode open so receive data
              receiveData();
              outPutStream.writeBytes("+OK");
        } else if(getCmd.startsWith("DataModeClose")) {
              //close client socket
             getClientSocket.close();
    }For client:
    DataInputStream dataIn=null;
    BufferedOutputStream bout=null;
    public sendFile(bytes[] getBytes) {
            //if ok found then do other or show error message
        if(sendCmd("FileName:"+getFileName)) {
            if(sendCmd("FileSize:"+getFileSize)) {
                if(sendCmd("DataModeOpen")) {
                   bout.write(getBytes);
                } else {
                   showError(3);
            } else {
                   showError(2);
       } else {
            showError(1);
    }i think it will help u

  • Is there any way to convert video files and keep my project in Final Cut Pro 7?

    I am currently editing a project, and have been having multiple issues with freezing while editing. Upon doing some quick research, I learned it is bcause my clips are in the h.264 format, which is not a good editing codec. Is there any way to change the codec of the videos and keep the project I have?

    You might need to relink the timeline to the new media. Just take the H.264 files offline, and reconnect to the new media. If you media managed the sequence, it'd relink. But then you are only converting the files used in the sequence, not all your media.

  • Is there any way to constantly update files from pc to ipad (Over WiFi)?

    I use my iPad as a reader. i.e. I work on documents on my PC, then transfer them to my iPad and use those documents for quick reference on the go. Now, the problem is that I have to keep updating/modify the documents on PC. So every time I have to delete the older documents from my iPad and copy the newer ones. Now that's so time consuming.
    A one way (PC to iPad) sync is what I need. I know that this can be done with by lot of apps (dropbox, sugarsync, etc.), however they need internet connectivity. I want to transfer/sync over my home network. On android there are lot of apps to do this while I am yet to find a decent one for the iPad. Can anyone please suggest me one or a workaround?

    Look at goodreader or DocsToGo.  It will sync files from any file servers.  Set up a file server on your machine. ie.  share a folder from your machine.  Read below  for more details.
    Don't you have the internet at home?  So what's the problem with dropbox etc?
    How are you copying now?

    I'd guess there is a local sync option for business.  You just need to find it.
    google:

    I'll now look for some.

  • Is there any way to erase all files from a broken macbook without switching it on??

    My macbook air died when I stupidly spilled nail polish remover over the keyboard- this was actually about two years ago and for various reasons I've only just gotten round to figuring out the best way to dispose of it. The problem is that it no longer switches on at all (and doesn't charge either), so I have no way of erasing my files and personal information and I'm just not comfortable recycling it knowing there could still be stuff stored on there. Does anyone know of a way to wipe the memory without switching it on, or have any suggestions for what I can do with it otherwise?

    1. Click here and follow the instructions; if you have a different MacBook Air model, see the links at the bottom of that page.
    2. Put it in an enclosure(any large enough computer store should have them) and erase it, or just keep the drive.

  • How do you convert a file from .mov to .avi in quicktime pro

    I'm using a kodak Z50 digital camera that records video files as .mov files. I was told I could convert the files to .avi files using quicktime pro, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone know?

    I am assuming you already are able to open the movie
    in QT Player. Use Export in the File menu, choose
    Movie to Avi in the drop-down Export Menu and then
    click on Options to choose one of the pre-loaded avi
    codecs for the compression. You may also want to
    search for and install one of the newer codecs, such
    as 3ivx or divx since the preinstalled codecs are all
    rather old.

    Thanks for the help. It worked, but the quality of the video is poor. Is there anything I can do about this?

  • Quick way to convert many files from AIFF to MP3

    I have a large collection of CDs and until now, did not have a computer or an iPod to hold all of them. I borrowed a friends external hard drive and copied all of the cd files onto it. I just recently bought a MacBook Pro, and loaded all of the files into my iTunes... Only to find that since I couldn't import the cds into an iTunes in the first place, only the file names transferred over- not the album/artist info. So I have been spending a lot of time adding that info manually. I also just realized that all of the files were in AIFF format, and not MP3 so they are taking up a large amount of space on my itunes. I have not yet gotten a better iPod, so they are just sitting in my iTunes right now. I was hoping there is an easy way to convert them all to MP3 without having duplicates in my iTunes to weed through. I have 4000+ songs, so that would take a while.
    also, if there is some magical way to get the artist/album info without having to type it all in, that would be great too.
    thanks in advance.

    Yes highlight the ones you want to convert and follow the instructions in this support document: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1550
    without having duplicates in my iTunes to weed through. I have 4000+ songs, so that would take a while.
    There is no weeding necessary. After the converion completes, sort by Date Added and all the new ones will be together.

  • How to Move a Video File from Movie Section to "TV Shows" Section

    I have an Ipod classic, and am trying to figure out how to move a video file from the "Movie" section to the "Tv Shows" section. I have Itunes version 1.3 which for my device is listed as the most current version.

    haha itunes 1.3, epic.
    to clarify that, I think he would have an ipod classic 80gb which the newest version is 1.3 I think.
    However to answer your question, in itunes right click the movie, go to properties, then go to options, where it has media kind put it to tv show

    One way would be to use a third party utility, here are a couple:
    iPod Agent: http://www.ipodsoft.com/index.php?/software/ipodagent
    YamiPod: http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/
    There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive posted in this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=797432#797432

  • Is there any way to convert .wpa documens from ACT! on my old PC to either

    iWork Pages or Microsoft Word for Apple on my new iMac? I don't see a converter in either of the programs and would consider third party software if necessary. Thank you in advance.
    GSY

    I can open the documents one by one in my old PC with ACT! and then click "Save As" either .rtf or .doc, both of which are readable in Pages as well as Word:Mac on my iMac.
    Unfortunately the program doesn't have a universal converter but many of these documents are no longer relevant anyway so I'll just go through them this way and bring over what I need one by one.
    It was the .rtf suggestions which made me think that ACT may give you an option of how to save the program and this was very helpful. All these years I just clicked "save" and it automatically saved documents to it's default format.
    Thanks again to all and have a great day.

  • Any way to transfer unusable files from you Lumia ...

    After a lot of searching and mind bogglingly confusing leads, I have understood this-
    Lumia DOES NOT show the unsupported file contents in your phone
    Now,personally I love my 520, but I think this is a HUGE setback for WP8 phone owners,
    Nonetheless, my question today is this:
    Is is possible to transfer files which are not supprted by your WP8 phone into your PC via a USB?
    I realize that this is shown (as a category, and not as individual files) under "Temporary files" in FILE STORAGE on the 520, but I want to know if I can EVER get my hands on the videos which I took from someone else, which are not being shown on my phone, instead of downright deleting them, thus freeing up the space?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Not sure what you mean by unsupported files. If you mean files downloaded to the phone through an app on the phone then yes, those files are locked to the app in question and will not be visible to other apps or though the MTP connection with a PC and so can't be transferred off the phone.

  • Convert MXF files to MOV files, NO LASTCLIP.TXT in FCP 5.1.4

    Hello everyone. I am new to the forums. I have a project I have been asked to edit where the files came off of a P2 Card from a Panasonic HVX2000. The problem is, they didn't copy the LASTCLIP.TXT files off of the P2 Card. So I just have the files themselves. Is there a way to convert the files to .MOV files? I do know about the Log & Transfer, but you need the LASTCLIP.TXT for that. Thanks!!

    #38-P2 - Missing LASTCLIP.txt file. How to rebuild.
    Shane's Stock Answer #38 - When you offloaded the P2 cards, you forgot to get the LASTCLIP.tct file? No worries, not all is lost.
    MISSING LASTCLIP.TXT FILE:
    http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=58755
    If you neglected to copy the "lastclip.txt" file all is not lost. Much like the six million dollar man, we can rebuild him.
    Lastclip.txt can be generated by any text editor. If you are using a mac then open up textedit.
    Create a new txt file. It will have 3 lines to it.
    The first line is the name of the last clip that was recorded.
    Back to the finder. Open up your CONTENTS folder. In there, open up your VIDEO folder. Organize the folder by Date Last Modified. Find the name of the last file in this folder. If you have 16 clips in the folder is will be 0016ag.mxf or something like that. Four numbers and two letters followed by .mxf.
    Take this name and place in the first line of your text file. On the next line of the text file type in "1.0" (don't include the quotes).
    The third line is the number of clips in the folder +1. If you have 16 clips then the third line should read "17" (again no quotes).
    I'm not 100% sure if the number on the third line is the number of clips left in the folder (after any on-set deletions) or if it is the total number of clips generated during this session with the card. Try both. Remember to add 1 to that number.
    Your txt file should like something like this:
    0016ab.mxf
    1.0
    17
    That's it. You should be good to go. Put your CONTENTS folders in separate folders with separate LASTCLIP.txt folders and import them as separate P2 cards.
    The annoying thing is that all of the various .mxf files in these 6 folders are locked items and they must all be unlocked manually to erase them.
    It's much easier to import direct into FCP 5.0.4 or higher. It does so without leaving all of these locked files on your computer.
