Any way to customize "Now Playing" displ

OK, first of all, sorry for all of the threads... I'm new to the Creative world. Anyway...
I own a Zen XTRA 30 GB and I want to customize the "Now Playing" screen a little. For example, I want only artist, song, and album to appear instead of artist, song, album, genre, and year. Is there any way to do this?

The only thing that I can suggest is to change the genre of ALL the tracks, and the year of ALL the tracks, to something simple and small, perhaps a period (.) or an underline (_). Unfortunately you'll still have SOMETHING in those fields, but I believe if you just delete the genre and year information and leave it blank then "Unknown<SPAN>" will appear by default.

There is nothing within DW that can do this for you. You also cannot go straight from HTML to an emailed XML file, which is likely why you couldn't find anything online about it.
You will need to find out what server scripting language(s) your hosting company supports (php is a common one).
Once you know that, you'll need to create/purchase/download a script in that language that you attach your html form to in order for it to be converted by your server and sent to your email as an XML file, again php is a very common choice for this.
As Murray suggests, there are a lot of sources online once you know which language you can use.

Any way to customize the headerClick event of an Accordion control

Is there any way to control the transition of the accordion
headers. I want a confirm message to appear when a header in an
accordion control is clicked and if the user selects Yes then only
the accordion should open the clicked header portion else the
previous header portion should remain open.
I tried to override the headerClick event and its event
Handler but both are declared as private in the Accordion class
also the event.preventDefault doesnot function. Is there any way to
customize the header click event handling?

But, as said before, sharing the same session shouldn't give any problems at all. Which problems are you occurring? If you have problems with that they shares the same session, then you are apparently storing values in the session scope while they belongs in the request scope.

But if I change the backing bean to session scope, the same problem exists.
And i need to set the userID to session for future reference.
the scenario is like this,
1. I am loading the JSF application in iFrame of a .NET page and the user can invoke multiple instance of the same .Net page in different browser at a time.
2. After loading the JSF application, the server will establish session with the browser and at that time the same session is sharing by the windows.
3. From the JSF page i am again invoking a popup window for a wizard and this popup window will be in the same session with the parent window. So whe we invoke the popup window from the any other JSF page, it will also share the same session although the userid is different
I have tested and the same session cookies are shared among the pages. So we need someway to manage the creation of session. By writting a servletResponseWrapper and overridding the addCookie method will have any effect?
Or can you please suggest some other alternatives?

I have updated keynote to the newest version (6.0). Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can customize any part of the presenter display. I can add or remove windows/panels, but not resize them. Is there really no way to do this? That would be a major drawback and would certainly make me consider going back to a 4+ year-old version of Keynote.

Well, different people have different styles of giving different presentations to different audiences in different venues.
When you have given a couple thousand presentations (and I mean this number literally), you know that requirements vary. That's why a customizable presenter display was a godsend, probably the biggest selling point that Keynote had for serious presenters.
You still can customize, turning features on and off, but you can't influence how a turned-on feature looks like size-wise.
("Looking over your shoulder" doesn't work in all venues, and probably would be recognized as the hallmark of an amateur presenter by most people in the audience who give a lot of presentations themselves.)
You can export from Keynote '13 (Keynote 6) to Keynote '09 (Keynote 5). Keynote '09 seems to run fine on Mavericks, by the way.
Not being able to see the pointer on the presenter display when you use it to point out something on the slideshow display is one thing that was wrong in Keynote '09 and they haven't fixed in Keynote '13.
(Now what I really want to get back is an alternative mode where I can edit the presentation on one screen and show it on the other at the same time...
Powerpoint in Windows was great for that. But that's a completely different style of presentation again.)

You can't customize events like you can in iCal on the Mac - so using your words, I would say that the iPad is less useful in that regard.

Is there any way, at all, to play video with H.264 source in Firefox?

I am a developer working on a site that makes heavy use of video. The site navigation and video playback controls run together, so it's important for me to be able to have full control over the videos, however, the videos must be hosted on Vimeo. The information on Firefox support for H.264 is all over the map, though at this point, I am just assuming, for the sake of practicality, that Firefox doesn't support H.264 playback at all. If I can't find a good solution, we are simply going to draw the line at Firefox and not support the browser at all for this site. It would be nice for the site to work on Firefox, but we estimate that less than 6% of our viewers will be using the browser, so it won't be hard to just redirect them to a different browser. Is there any hack, any workaround, anything at all, that I can do to play H.264 video using just the good old standard <video> tag?

hello mattclough, due to patent and licensing issues support for h.264 is not directly built into the browser, instead firefox relies of the capabilities of the operating system or hardware to playback such media content.

You can certainly add a custom feild as an Account admin, but you can just use that to define sort order in the attendee pod. You cant hide a name from attendee pod, but yes as a host you can edit users info and change their names. OR, if you dont want others to see the attendee pod, you can move the attendee pod to Presenter only Area (POA).

I mean, can I play a song and click on a picture when it is its time to show up and then save it that way? That way some stay for a longer time and some flip thru at a quicker pace. Maybe some sort of Garage Band Combo slideshow?

For that ind of precision and flexiblity make your slideshow in an app like iMovie, PhotoToMovie or Final Cut Express.

It's not a difficult thing to understand. It is, in fact, a computing science +industry standard+, deviations from it are the +unusual and esoteric+, not something I'd expect from one of the industry's giants - certainly not a mandatory deviation.
It seems like it's a decision that only serves to frustrate people. I can understand why they would want a metadata sorting mode; I can even see making that the default setting... I'm just kind of flabberghasted at the uninclusion of an alternative file sorting method for those of us who trust our own devices better than metadata that may be incorrect, missing, typographically flawed, or what-have-you. I can get to my own music just fine... On my PC. Why not my iPod? Why does the industry-leading mp3 player have to make it a frustrating and difficult chore to find the media I want to play?

We have our own objects in our MBeans, and they can't be displayed properly in the JConsole MBean tab, instead, the values are shown as "Unavailable".
How to solve this? Is there anyway we can do from our code base to display the details of the objects (through toString())?
Is it possible to customize JConsole, so that it could understand the custom objects?

I turned on the debugger, looks like it is a security issue... I then regenerated a self-signed cert using the 1.6 keytool, imported in the keystore (and truststore), but I am still having the same problem.
If I launced jdk1.5 jconsole, then connect remotely to a valid JMXServiceURL, it loaded the native SunPKCS11 provider, and successfully connected to the remote process just fine...
But if use jdk1.6 jconsole, it went through the provider list, then failed as the bolow logs describes... WHAT COULD BE WRONG?

Any way to customize LR appearance?

I don't see anywhere in the LR preferences where the user can customize the color scheme and/or font size. I am particularly interested in making the data on the thumbnails larger and darker. These old eyes have trouble with small fonts (yes, even w/ the glasses on).
Doesn't hurt to ask :-)

Mainly, you can't do (currently) what you're asking for. The font size on the grid thumbnails is slightly dependent on the thumbnail size set on the tool bar, but the gray text on some of the data can't be changed. I have the same problem, and I'd love to have all the various fonts and colours settable in the preferences. For a 1.0 release, an astonishing amount of functionality is in LR, but to make it a really _nice_, well-behaved program, the developers still have a lot of work to do. :)
