Any way to default on FIRST of multiple clips loaded in the Source Monitor?
When dragging 2 or more clips to the Source Monitor, or using the 'Open in Source Monitor' contextual menu in the Project window, the clip that automatically gets displayed in the Source Monitor is the last clip of the list, rather than the first one. WHY?
Basic Human Logic 101 dictates that editors would always want the FIRST clip of the list to automatically be displayed rather than the LAST. For example, if I open CLIP001 to CLIP025 in my Source Monitor, why on Earth would I ever want to trim and send CLIP025 to the Timeline first, before CLIP001 to CLIP024? THIS BACKWARDS WORKFLOW IN PREMIERE DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!! Adobe, please fix this unhelpful annoyance. I encounter it dozens of times on every project, and I imagine that every single editor out there that uses the Source Monitor to load several clips at once also encounters this illogical annoyance.
If there's already a way to change this setting that I'm not aware of, I would love to know! Otherwise I'll be sending Adobe an official FR to get this fixed.

I think you misunderstood what I'm asking for.
I'm asking for the first newly loaded clip to always be shown by default when loading several clips in the Source Monitor. So if the Source Monitor already contains CLIP001 to CLIP025, and you load CLIP026 to CLIP050, CLIP026 should automatically be shown, NOT CLIP050, as Premiere currently does. Defaulting to the first clip in the list (CLIP001) when adding new clips would make as little sense as the way it currently works, so of course I wouldn't want, nor am I asking for that.
I always load 25-30 clips in the Source Monitor for trimming at a time. It's the most efficient workflow I've come up with and I'm quite surprised none of the responders work that way. I load up a bunch of clips all at once, and then set IN (1) and OUT (2) points on the current Source Monitor clip, and then send the selected range to my Timeline (5). Keys 3 and 4 go back and forward in the list of loaded clips. JKL controls playback. This allows the editor to quickly pre-select material for editing using only the keyboard. Once I finish going through my clips, I load another 30 or so clips. Quick. Efficient... exept for the fact that Adobe decided to work backwards, by always showing the last loaded clip instead of the first.
I think this would be a relatively easy thing for Adobe to fix. I won't indulge any petty arguments about what Adobe should be fixing first, second or third. That's for them to decide. I'd rather spend my time and effort bringing up topics that others haven't yet. Thinking outside the box is the only way for Premiere to evolve.

Yes, of course you can upload multiple files for tariff codes.
This can be done by the below path:-
SAP GTS Cockpit(tcode-/sapsll/menu_legal)-->Customs Management-->Classification-->Classification Master Data-->Upload Tariff Code Numbers from XML file(tocde- /SAPSLL/LLNS_UPL101).
In the above area after browsing and choosing the first file, please select multiple check box to choose more files as well. Then you can further select your application server and upload all those files in one go.
PS:- Although, we have an option to upload multiple such files but actually we should avoid multiple file uploads due to various reasons. Hence, please take utmost care during such procedure.

Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.gsharp01 wrote:

The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete. -

GooGyum.A database cannot in general use indexes in this way for an 'or' involving two different columns. However, for this specific example one can easily rewrite the query using 'UNION' to use the relevant indexes while still giving the same (correct) result:

Maybe you can apply a similar trick? If you know there is no possibility of duplicate rows then you can further optimise this (in terms of performance) by using UNION ALL.

Is there a way to apply Time Remapping to multiple clips simultaneously? I'd like to uniformly speed up and slow down two different clips that are playing in a picture-in-picture setup. I’m hoping there’s a more elegant way to sync them up than just editing their Time Remapping functions individually (I already tried using an Adjustment Layer. It didn’t work).
you can try nesting the two clips together, then control the time remapping of the nest.

I found one other way to do it. I just deleted them all out of my iTunes library. Now I can re-import them from Window's My Music file with the original artists' names intact.

You can change the address bar drop-down so it only suggest bookmarked sites instead of everything in your history. You would need to have enabled iCloud on your MBP. Your question indicated you did not.
Its serial number is useful for establishing ownership should the MBP be recovered. File a police report. -
Is there any way to change user operations on multiple tracks at once?
I have a complex project (99 tracks, dozens of menus and scripts). I need to make one version of this DVD for the end client (teenagers at health clinics) who will be forced to view it in a specified way, and another version for educators (staff at the clinics) who will be allowed to fast-forward and have access to a menu from which they can jump to different points in the DVD.
I have different menus to serve as "first play" for these different versions so that I can easily switch between versions when burning disc images, and I have set up GPRMs to make navigation different for the two versions automatically. My problem now is that I want to disable forward scan, next program, root menu, and title menu for the client version. As far as I can tell, I have to do that independently for every single track and menu. Bleah. This is especially annoying since the DVD is still in development, so I am continuing to change small things and will need to keep both versions up to date as I do.
Is there any way to select multiple tracks/menus and change user operations on all of them? Or any other work-around or script that could do it? I thought this would be a perfect task for the automator, but I'm not very familiar with that application and don't know how (or if it's possible) to create new actions other than the ones that are available.
Any ideas?

JulieThanks. But the disc inspector only appears to let me change things like where the title menu button takes you, not detailed user operations. I have pretty much given up on this being anything other than a giant hassle, but if anybody knows whether a script could do this, I would be eternally grateful.

You don't import anything since your library is the same as it was. All those items are still in iTunes in the same location. The ONLY thing different is iTunes prefs -> Advanced.
Or am I wrong and it will have my previous media folder still in the library, and anything new would be put in the new media folder?
Yes & yes. Everything in iTunes will still be in iTunes, stay in the same location it is now and iTunes will use it from there.
Anything new added to iTunes will go to the location you set in iTunes prefs -> Advanced. -
When adding a bookmark by clicking the star in the address bar, the bookmark automatically goes to the Unsorted Bookmarks folder, is there any way it can automatically go to the Bookmarks Toolbar? This is a minor inconvenience.

Any Way I Can Make My Page's Images Load One At a Time?

I have a page with a stack of large images. It takes several seconds for them all to load, but I was wondering if there's any way I could dictate the order in which all of these images load? This way, the top image would load first, then the the next one down, and so on, leaving little perceivable page load time for visitors.
It seems like this would be a common necessity for a web page, does anyone know an easy (because I know very little about this) way to do this?
Thanks!One major problem, is that you have scaled the images in DW, and not in a graphics program. I have your page open in the background and it's been a while loading and it's still not finished :-)

Trying to put your page through the Web Optimiser - doesn't show a very good result - it couldn't be tested because it exceed the size requirement.

The size of this web page (4264698 bytes) has exceeded the maximum size of 3000000 bytes.
This is just way too big a file size and seriously needs to be optimised. The only way to do this is to scale down the images in either Photoshop or Fireworks.
Why not use a lightbox effect, where you show a much smaller size of the image and then when someone clicks on it they see a much larger version of the image:

Our daughter just got an iPad mini and I originally set it up under my Apple ID in order to create an Apple ID for her (she's under 13 so I set up iCloud family)... is there any way to switch the main user to her so that she can use iMessage and such under her own account?
