Any way to enter most common keystrokes faster?
I just got my iPod Touch and I never realized how much I have to type in my extremely long user name (for school and work) into so many websites. Is there any way to make a keystroke, that will automatically enter the user name, etc? Thanks!
Nope, this is not a feature yet, maybe in the future who knows? We are not allowed to speculate rumors here.

I lost my iphone 4s and had to get a new one. when I found my old one it had been run over. It powers up, but the touchscreen wont work at all. It is password protected and I just want to get my pictures off of it. When I plug it in to my computer, Itunes tells me the phone is locked and needs me to enter the password into the phone. I know the password but have no wat to enter it. Any ideas?
You need to attach working front assembly to the broken iPhone, or replace the front assembly. Or remove the Logic Board and transfer it to another iPhone 4S, so you can unlock and access your photos.

Is there any way to enter reoccurring days on iPad Calendar ie 1st `monday each month?

Not in the calendar app, no. However if you make the appointment elsewhere and import it into the iPad then the iPad will honor that repeat. SUch as make it in outlook, e-mail it to yourself and import it into your calendar.

Is there a way to use the common J-K-L keystrokes to play forward and backward in iMovie '11? Most editing apps--like Final Cut Pro, QuickTime Pro, Avid, etc.--use this convention. I find not having it slows editing down considerably? I don't see it listed in keyboard shortcuts; is there any way to add it? Thanks!

Is there any way to create fields reports users can enter data into?
I am using Crystal XI to develop reports for my company and have not received any formal training on it. I'm learning it fairly well through the help files.
One of the reports I need to create summarizes our scrap, rework, and additional incurred expenses for our monthly quality reports. Most of the information is stored in the main program used by all employees, a very small amount of it is not. I have created sub-reports for each of the different types of costs that are tracked in the system.
Is there any way to create an area on the report that our QA people can use to enter the items not tracked in the main system? I am imagining that it would be through another sub-report of some kind, but do not know how to create the fields needed.

If you define parameter prompts, then Crystal will query the user before running the report - so this would be problematic if the user needs to reference data in the report to enter appropriate values (one possibility then is to use interactive parameters feature available in CR 2008).

Is there any way for me to get my music off of my iPod? I had to get a new computer and no longer have my files, most of it is cds...
Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Once the backup has been made and all other synced content such as music, videos, and photos are back in your iTunes library, restore your iPod from that backup you made earlier. Here is more on backing up and restoring your iPod.

Any way to have a list of "most often used folders"?
is there any way to define a list of folders most frequently accessed (by opening them or saving files to them) in the last X days? I'd like to have such a list in my dock, or on the left panel of Finder windows that open up (e.g., for file saving). Is there any way to do that? I work on stuff that's divided into a pretty deep folder structure and instead of a static Favorites list (which would get too unwieldy), I'd like to have it dynamically figure out for me which are the most commonly-used folders for the recent week or whatever. Is there any way of undoing a shuffle? The CDs I downloaded to iTunes have all been shuffled into individual 'songs'. As most of these are classical and folk, it is inappropriate to have them separated into songs that play any old time (ie, a movement from Beethoven's 5th symphony followed by a folk song followed by one excerpt from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, etc. Can I restore them all to the original albums and make sure the shuffle doesn't happen again?

Is there any way to find out more specifically where most of the memory is being taken up?
Say, what folders are the biggest in size, and where they are? I'd like to delete any unwanted crap if i could...

It's not memory, it's disk space which is a different thing.

You should never try to charge or turn on a wet electronic device.
You should let it dry for a week or so, then try. -
I am trying to crop a portrait photo into 6x4 portrait ready for printing. I am using Iphoto on a Macbook Pro. Everytime I try and crop the photo, it crops in Landscape which cuts out most of the photo. Is there any way of resolving this? I am new to Macs as I am currently switching from MS. It is very easy to do this in MS photo editor so I can't believe it can't be easily done in Iphoto!

Elements 11 Organizer -- photos below sight on screen
I have adobe photoshop elements 11 running on my iMac. My problem: when viewing the grid in my organizer albums, I can't see the bottom rows of photos-- I can see a slim line of the top of each photo but not the entire photo. I've used the minimizer/
