Hi ,
Being the dinosaur that i am I am running an old version of Adobe creative suite (CS3). I would like to put this same version on a new computer but I do not have the serial numbers any longer as my PST file was destroyed when I changed computers in 2009. When I go to my adobe account it says I have no products - I amnot sure if this is becasue it is so old or becasue the account was set up under and old email address. Any help woudl be greatly appreciated

If you registered the software when you originally installed it then it might be available thru your Adobe account online.
It might not be though. Up until maybe the new year I still had my CS3 information available in my account but it is not longer there nowadays. If I try to re-enter the serial number (I have it from the discs) to re-register it comes back indicating the product is already registered, despite not displaying it as one of my products. Fishy to me...
Anyways, if you contact Adobe Support thru chat they might be willing to assist you... or they might deny helping on the basis of the product no longer being supported. If so, try again... there might be someone more reasonable available.

Researching Serial Numbers for MTO Production

Hello,
I work for a make-to-order manufacturing company. We currently use Project Systems and PP for production. We use the Project Definition + WBS Element as the serial number of our finished, sellable product (FERT).
I am trying to investigate using SAP serial number feature instead, but everything I am reading (SAP Help Files) seems more geared toward mass-production. Can anyone direct me to some information on a MTO scenario for serial numbering?

Serial number functionality is more applicable to MTO. In typical Mass production (Make to stock ) PP implementation , Batch management will be sufficient to identify if there is any quality issue for finished goods. But most MTO PP implementation would require Serial number functionality as you will need to track it for warranty( What has been revsion level for FG) .
You are using Project+WBS number as serial number which measn you have to use external serial numbers. There are user exist available to configure Serial number suffix. Projects have Project ID which can be Serial number suffix.
There is possibility of doing Delivery from Project( Not very commonly used) , but if you need to generate serial numbers for each project delivered, you need to create DO from project & assign serial number (First time in system). This is because Projects are compleleted without any FG number assigned anywhere in header & Project package is delivered & it don't have stock functionality.

"My Adobe" site is permanently redirected to "Adobe ID" site. There is no way to retrieve serial numbers for CS 5.5 products and below.

How can I get my serial number for CS 5.5 Master Collection and CS 5.5 Captivate? This was retrievable only a few days ago using the "My Adobe" site at (adobe.com/account.html)
The My Adobe URL (adobe.com/account.html) has a permanent redirect to the new Adobe ID URL (accounts.adobe.com/) Just a few days ago, Adobe "My Products and Services" contained my collection of serials.Users now cannot access this URL at adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html with the redirect in place.
The new Adobe ID site "My Products" at (accounts.adobe.com/products) reports "You have no registered products." We need the "My Adobe" classic site back to access our registered serials.
Adobe should update their help documentation that references the old link (adobe.com/account.html) as well. Here are a couple of examples:

https://accounts.adobe.com/products shows all my products with their serial numbers back to 2005 when I first registered PSE2.0 that came bundled with my camera, and the two example pages with old links properly redirect to the Plans page and all I have to do is click View all products and again I will see my list back to 2005.
So things are working just fine for me. If it says you have no products, maybe there are changes still percolating through the server network that aren’t in place from where you’re surfing from, or maybe you have multiple AdobeIDs and are signed into the one that doesn’t have products registered to it.
In other words, things appear to be working just fine with my AdobeID using either the old links or the new links and so I’d reword the request to be that you want the new site to work properly. The old site did have another layout that required clicking into each product to see the serial number whereas the new site list everything on one page without clicking into anything. I prefer the new way.

Finding serial numbers for photoshop cs6 extended

Bought Photoshop cs6 extended through an employee purchasing program at work, it arrived today but did not include a serial number required to install it.
No number sequence shows on the box, sleeve or packing list that is large enough to be the serial number. Please tell me I didn't get screwed.

Some users with DVI have managed to get their TV's to work with DVI-HDMI cables. DVI carries no audio, so alternative connections need to be explored to enable audio. DVI doesn't necessarily support HDCP as well as other standards used by HDMI (which may or may not be an issue)
Analogue
There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p (Apple TV 2), 720p/1080p (Apple TV 3)

Serial numbers for original product and upgrade. CS5.5 serial number is not accepted by CS6 upgrade installer.

I had CS5.5. I purchased an upgrade to CS6 but due to machine limitations never successfully installed it. My machine has recently been reformatted, so of course CS5.5 is gone. I tried to install CS6 and it likes my serial number, but says I need an upgradable product and asks for a serial number for my upgradeable product. When I enter my Cs5.5 serial number, I'm told it's not a qualifying product. Any ideas?

cs6 master collection is windows.

Why am I ineligible for Creative Cloud Complete when I have serial numbers for CS3 products??

I am trying to purchase Creative Cloud Complete for $29.99, as I have previously purchased Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign CS3, and have the serial numbers. However, when I entered the serial numbers on the form to order Creative Cloud, it said I was not eligible, but had no explanation why.

Is there any way in Finder to search for files and display their path to make it easier to move a file type to one folder without generation duplicates

Trying to consolidate all media files (mp3, m4a) into one folder for iTuned. Each time to try to move files I end up with duplicates and copies. If I could see the path (folder) in finder I could only move groups. searching for all mp3 file finds all on the iMac regardless of location. I don't want to them one by one having checked the Get Info display.
Any help, suggestions appreciated.

Serial Numbers for Sales Orders

We have a business Process where we do not maintain any serial numbers for the products. How ever one of our customer maintains serial numbers for the products that come to their warehouse.
This customer will send in the serial numbers for each material and quantity in the inbound 850 Idoc and he wants those serial numbers to be printed on top of the boxes. so that he can scan them while receiving the GR and do automatic posting at thier system.
we have to store this serial numbers against this sales order and print them in the shipping tags for the finished products that are to be sent to this customer.
Now
1) we do not want to use serial number profiles because it effects every sales order / delivery created for that material. the serial numbers should be assigned only to the orders from this specific customer. Is there any way to acheive this?
2) in the sap idoc 850 ( message type ORDERS05) how do we store the serial numbers. what segment and fields are available for this purpose.
3) how to save this serial numbers in the sap system against the sales order created for this customer.

I am looking more at a standard solution. with minor changes..
Storing the serial numers in text items is possible but not practical, the more the quantity the more difficult and time consuming is this process for ex if this customer orders 10,000 qty. then it would be tough.. and again to solve that problem we have to break the qty into multiple line items and this is only a alternatve but not a good solution i guess.
I thought this scenario should be more in practice because, customers can request us to put their serial numbers on the packing boxes that we send them.
So just wondering if any our colleagues have already worked in this scenario.. While doing a search I saw a couple of questions regarding the same situations back in 2005 and 2007 but the questions were marked as answered without mentioning the solution they approached to solve this problem.
Can any of you suggest me whether is this scneario a standard one ?

Can anyone tell me the table in which the serial numbers are stored for the production orders? I have created a production order and have assigned serial numbvers to it. Now I want to extract these serial numbers from the table.

In table SER05, the list of serial number details can be obtained.key the order noin ser05 table, get field OBJKNR, then pass this OBJKNR in table OBJK .

SER02 Serial numbers assigned to a guarentee
SER03 Serial numbers assigned to a material document
SER04 Serial numbers assigned to an inspection lot

SER07 Serial numbers for Stocktaking
SER08 serial numbers for Orders (SD)
The assignment of serial numbers to a production order can be done either via transaction CO02 or at the latest when the GR from Production is made.
