without using a debugger or profiler,
is there any way i can find out how many cycles my thread is active between two timestamps?
or any way to find out the percentage of cycles my thread is active (compared to other threads)?

CPU usage, or percentage thereof without having to use
native code?There is no java api. So that means it is OS specific. You can't identify a specific thread using a process (via Runtime.exec) so that means the only solution is to use JNI.

Place archive_reports.sms in %systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\ for both 64-bit and 32-bit computers.
There are two situations where you can use this depending on the type of client:
1. To keep inventory reports on a client (that is not an MP), create the following file:
%systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
2. To keep inventory reports on a MP (that is also a client), create the following file:
<x>:\sms_ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
The XML file will be saved in the inventory\temp folder.

If this is relevant whenever i call him and hes on the phone the phone connects to someone else answering machine.

IF he set up find my ip[hone on the ihone itself BEFORE it was stolen ( there is no app, it is a setting) AND it is on AND it has jot been restored, then you may be able to track it using icloud/find my iphone.
Otherwise, there is no way to track it.

If you said you have Find My iPhone installed, you can access that from any internet connection. Just log in at http://www.icloud.com and go to the app.
Apple won't help you directly.
But do call your local authorities.

From time to time, it happens that I strongly suspect that I have saved a bookmark, but I can't remember exactly where, and I may have slightly changed a Bookmark category or sub-category description in the meantime.
I can usually remember something about the bookmark which enables me to find it within Show All Bookmarks, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to rename or refile the bookmark, its category, or its sub-category.
Show All Bookmarks looks like the field called "Location" (of a bookmark) should be called "URL", and there should be another field called "Location" which tells you where the bookmark resides within Show All Bookmarks.
Is it already possible to find the current location of a current bookmark within Show All Bookmarks?
If not, I request that it is made possible.

Any way to take the reference of destroy thread

What do you mean by destroy? Do you mean you return from the run method of the thread or you actually call the Thread.destroy API, or maybe you meant something else. By the way the destroy method is not implemented in any VM (I believe) so calling it would probably cause a java.lang.NoSuchMethodError to be thrown.

I'd like to find the area of a mask, or even just the bounding width or height to use as a variable in an expression.
For example I'd like to have the brightness of a solid based on the area( or a dimension) of a mask that resides in it.
I can't see that you can access these things, but I know that some scripts can, for example, access and change the individual nodes of a mask.
So there must be more to it than I have found, anyone know where to find info on modifying masks with expressions? perhaps that will lead me in the right direction.

If it is a logistics invoice, you can get the information from table RBKP, where the entry date and time is stored for each invoice.
If you are looking for invoice directly posted in FI, you can use the same logic and can extract it from BKPF table by filtering based on document type.

That sounds like it will work. I'll try adding a client count
increment/decrement in the DLL initialize and terminate functions. This
should essentially perform the same tasks as the callback scheme you mention
above, no?
The reason I didn't think the 'client counting' scheme would work initially
was I mistakenly thought that the termination function would not get called
under Terminate conditions. Since Terminate conditions happen a LOT during
our initial debug of new UUT types, I didn't think that would be acceptable.
I forgot that lacing the terminate funciton in a cleanup step group, I can
force it to be called in Terminate conditions.
