Any way to fix when Firefox locks up or prevent it from happening?

I used Firefox on the mac, and while I much prefer it to Chrome, I've had no end of stability problems over the last several months, across multiple computers and installs.
The problem is that sometimes it will just... freeze up. Spinning ball for the app, completely unresponsive, nothing I can do, sitting at 100% cpu usage. I've let it sit like this for a while, and once or twice it's come up with a "unresponsive script" error, but viewing the same pages in Chrome or Safari never seems to cause an issue and I need to view these pages.
My solution so far has been to force quit Firefox when this happens, but losing what I've been working on has been rough now that it's happening 2 or 3 times a day. What I'm wondering is if there's a better way to handle this than destroying it - can I change some setting that says "if it doesn't work for 3 seconds, kill the problem script or whatever don't wait an hour" or to force it to stop whatever it is doing and respond to my commands?

To whom does the email address belong to? Are you sure it wasn't an email address used in the past or perhaps one that had belonged to a friend of hers?
Either way, if the music on her iPod was purchased under an account not belonging to her or you, there is much you can do. Sorry.

Are you sure your friend didn't jailbreak it?
If so, save yourself a lot of time and trouble - throw it in the trash.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Are you still running iOS 7 bet?. If so go to the private developer section for help. We cannot help you here with beta software.

Is there any way to fix it so my computer will stop "rebuffering" when I preview a song on itunes.

When I preview a song on itunes it will play for only a couple of seconds and then it "rebuffers". It does this constantly. I do not have this issue when I preview a song on Amazon or if I listen to Pandora radio. Is there any way to fix this?

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If that doesn't work we may have to reinstall AW6...

I figured it out! I don't fully understand why, but when I uninstall ESPOINAGE 2 from my laptop, sleep works fine now.. Weird!

When you took this photograph your phone was being held in that way. Sideways, try taking the photo straight on. Or it is the Picture file itself, open up the application you edit photos with and rotate it to be proper orientation. I recently had the same problem but you either have to retake or edit it at this point.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to gain access to my iPad. If you are unsure what your Apple ID is, you can find the steps in this article:

You need to sort some stuff out.
Your source is pal 25 frames in SD
Your offline footage is HD with a framerate 29.97.
You need to set your sequence the same as your footage.
Then export again with the same framerate.

Hi Rick,
Your initial duplicate should be offset by one grid unit to the right and below the location of the original. If you move that duplicate by dragging it, without first de-selecting it, then reselecting it, the place you put it will determine the offset for subsequent duplicates (from the same original or from the copy).
Example:
Initial object and first duplicate:
Pressing shift-up arrow would move the duplicate up to align with the top of the original. Pressing shift-left arrow would then place the duplicate directly in front of the original.
Without being deselected, the duplicate was dragged to the position shown:
Command-D was then pressed to duplicate the first copy:
The duplicate appeared in this position
