Any way to get only new updates for disconnected WSUS?

Greetings,
I have two servers set up. One is online, getting the new updates correctly. The other one is offline where I successfully was able to transfer the approve updates from the online WSUS. My work requires me to get new updates and transfer the new updates
from the online to offline WSUS once in a while. The problem is that I cannot use any external hard drive for data transfer due to security reasons. I can only use DVD of which we only have duel layer (8.5GB max) as our highest.
My question is any way to get the newest updates only and be able to plug them in the WSUScontent folder in the offline WSUS? I rather not have to span 7-8 DVDs for a 61GB folder of all the updates each time. I would love any method or advice that can
be offered. I'm limited on what third-party software I can use as well unfortunately.

You could probably work something out, using ROBOCOPY and it's various comparison operators (such as Archive bit, or date/timestamp).
You'd need to have the "last file set prepared for the offline server" available, to do the comparison. Then, tinker with the comparison operators to determine the set which works for you. This should give you the "delta", and then you could
burn the "delta" files/folders to your media.
Depending on your OS in use, ROBOCOPY might already be built-in for you (so no third-party software needed)

Thank you so much! It's updating now. I'm hoping that once the update is finished that it will sync like normal as well. Of course I'm still a bit confused/concerned about how it refused to update on it's own, but for now that's not a problem. Hopefully from now on there won't be any more problems.

For that i need to use the app store link of my application for sending it . is there any way to get that and using it dynamically in my app immediately after releasing it.

Your best bet would be to create a web page of your own for the app. Design that page so that it uses 'META REFRESH' to redirect the visitor straight to the App Store link.
That way you can hard-wire your own web page address into your app.
This has the advantage that it can work well even before you've noticed that your app has arrived on the App Store. Create a real web page, describing the app and telling people to search for it in the App Store by name - then replace it with the auto-redirect page when you've discovered your application's App Store address.

Just because you weren't satisfied with your first post about this doesn't mean you should post it again. You posted two of these. That's just dumb. You cannot get a new one for free because of your inability to keep track of an electronic device. It's your fault so no one else will bend over backwards for you. Your iPod comes with a 1 year warranty which covers manufacturers defects. Unless you bought some sort of insurance specifically for your iPod or it's covered under your renter's/homeowner's insurance, they only way you're going to get a new one is to buy one. Sorry.

This may sound silly but I wasn't expecting the high res anti glare macbook pro to not have a glass cover over it. to many this might not be an issue, but I need to be able to use a digital drawing pen over top the surface of my monitor. My previous macbook was the first of the unibodies from 2008 and that works fine. But I guess I should have gone with the hi res glossy. So are there any solid screen protectors available or am I going to have to see about returning this computer. :|

Why don't you instead just use a piece of rounded edge glass in the rare times when your doing that?
Your one of the very few that has to actually draw on their screen, most use a drawing pad Walcom tablet, iPad or import a scan or image into Adobe Illustrator rather than hold their hand up to the screen for hours.
Don't you know you can command shift 3 or 4 to snapshot a image of anything on the screen? SnapZ Pro X will record video?
Seems to me your doing things the wrong way.
The anti-glare MacBook Pro is awesome when you take it to various places and can still see the screen and can't adust the enviroment to suit.

That's a potentially unwanted program. You can get rid of it by simply uninstalling the program, or using an anti-malware if all else fails.

Is there ANY way to get a signed certificate for a cert created by JSSE?

We have tried to send Verisign certificates generated using JSSE, but they complain that the certificates are corrupted. After several conversations with them, we believe that the problem may be that not only do they require the key algorithm to be RSA, but they also require that the signature algorithm be SHA1. Well, when you specify RSA as the key algorithm, the keytool defaults to MD5withRSA as the signature algorithm.
If you try to override that default by using -sigalg and telling it to us SHA1withDSA (which they claim they can accept) then you get this error:
keytool error: java.security.InvalidKeyException: No installed provider supports
this key: sun.security.rsa.RSAPrivateCrtKeyImpl
So, is there a way to use JSSE to generate a certificate that can be signed by a CA (in this case Verisign)?

I think that might be correct as someone else suggested doing that too in the security forum.
I'll post back if it turns out to be the correct solution.
