Any way to induce latency for VISA TCPIP

I am trying to debug the way my program behaves on networks with very poor connectivity, but I cant find a way to get the poor connectivity I desire. Does anyone know of any kind of debug tool for VISA or windows, where I can intentionally introduce latency spikes, etc?

You can use the Check Material Shortages attribute in the Org items under Inventory tab. Oracle will trigger shortage alert notifucations for the checked items. This works in the conjuntion with the Shortage Parameters defined at the Inv ORg level (these parameters are nothing but what business wants to consider as a shortage in WIP and OM). It is true that you cannot add more than 250 plots to a 2d-axis graph in the REPORT. One work around is to have the graphs stacked on top of each other and plot 250 to one graph and 250 more to another graph. I am including a TDR (you have to unzip it) file that has 12 2d-axis stacked on top of each other. Most of the properties have been made invisible through the graph properties. You can still see the legends however. One caveat to this is that you will have issues accessing the different graphs. You have to do it from a VBScript. The following line of code worked for me:
Call GraphObjOpen("2DAxis" + Str(NewAxis))
Where NewAxis is a variable that defines which graph I want to look at. You would of course have to loop through the graphs as you add data.

Is there any way to decrease latency other than changing the I/O buffer

I'm recording with two presonus firepods linked together. which allow for me to record up to 16 track at a time. I'm noticing some latency that makes it somewhat hard to record with. I do not want to lower the buffer for fear of intruducing distortion. is there any other way to lower latency levels in logic? If not would switching to a different interface help? if so, which one can you recamend?

After you've determined the smallest possible buffer setting for your system to run properly, the easiest way to achieve a minimal latency system from that point on is to have an external mixer for monitoring the audio you're recording. This way you're don't have to monitor audio thru your DAW software.
Apparently, software monitoring latencies are getting better (see the extensive thread/debate about the Symphony system on this forum -- search for "Symphony"). The only reason you'd need to use software monitoring is if you use plug-ins on the input channel(s) of what you're recording. Otherwise, software monitoring of audio thru your DAW does nothing but add latency (delay) to your monitored signal, as well as cause you to go prematurely gray in trying to deal with it.
I believe the Firepods are FW devices, and if so, there could be not only an increased amount of latency over, say, PCI-based systems, but the amount of latency might be variable every time you boot your system (there are extensive threads about this phenomenon on this forum -- do a search and you'll find them). If you're experiencing this, it is probably due, in short, to problems with the way the FW drivers are written.
I have a PCI-based system (MOTU, PCI-e 424) and putting arguments over whether MOTU stuff sounds the same, better, or worse than any other audio interface, this kind of system never experiences random changes in latency.
The other thing you must do is calibrate your recording delay. Again, with certain FW systems you might have to do this each time you boot your system. But I can tell you that with the card-based system I'm using, my latency and hence my recording delay settings never change, and I can be assured that what I record plays back in exactly the right spot every time.
BTW, the recording delay can be adjusted by using a simple looback test (again, there are numerous threads on this forum which explain how this is accomplished).

ACS 5.3 Dashboard - Any way to create Dashboard for all users?

I'm at the point of setting up admin access for engineers needing to have insight into the operations and status of our ACS 5.3 systems.
I'm curious if there's any way to create a Dashboard that can be applied to all admin user accounts? (perhaps a custom role?)
I've been able to customize the dashboard for my own account to show what is most relevant, but am unable to figure out how to apply this layout and setup to all other users.
Basically, I have a number of folks that need to see this data, but that I can't exactly count on to setup their own dashboards to show the important details. If there were some way to build a tab/dashboard/portlet, etc (whatver it may be) and have it apply to all users, that would save me TONS of work so that I don't have to login to each person's account and set things up for them.
For example, I want to have all users see a tab/dashboard that shows the applet "Live Authentications", but with the protocol already configured to display TACACS vs the default which is RADIUS.
Any thoughts?

I see you are looking for read-only access to Dashboard. Currently there is no way to force all Admins to use same Dashboard and all admins will have full control of the Dashboard.

Any way to set color for value in chart and still filter out values (but retain colors)?

Is there any way that I can hard code a color into a chart and still filter out values?
I have 5 divisions, each with a specific color. I have put them into a stacked column chart and it looks fine. My issue arises when I try to filter out some of the divisions. The colors do not stay with the specified divisions.
Ex.)
Div 1 = Red
Div 2 = Green
Div 3 = Black
When I filter out Div 1, this is what I see:
Div 2 = Red
Div 3 = Green
I have tried standard delivered filter panel, and check-boxes using CHART_1.setDataSelection( )
It seems like the color hard coding in the "additional" properties of the chart are not tied to the value, but are determined by sort order. Any help is greatly appreciated

Then You need 5 * 3 = 15 Text box .
Arrange them in 5 columns and 3 rows type of view .

If one is running Outllok on a Mac machine then it is not possible to sync the contacts with iPhone. I have a component which should always produce the output by executing a code and not from the dispatcher cache.
Is there any way to clear the dispatcher cache for the component or is it possible to disable the component caching.

The dispatcher caches the entire HTTP response body, so doing what you are describing actually requires two steps:
1) Loading the non-cacheable component through Ajax (or some other edge side assembly technology like ESI)
2) Including the Dispatcher: no-cache header in the response when that component is requested.

You will probably want to use the WCMMode to only do the dynamic loading on the publish server.

I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not. But I know a background color by using the pixie tool. I just don't know where the CSS Style sheet is for the button in question. Is there any way that I can do a search of CSS style sheets in a folder location

Is there any way to not wait for a subVI to output so that the background loop can continue (until the output exists)?

I am in a loop but want to modify an element in that loop. This modification takes time, but i cannot have the loop stop while it is being changed or else the buffer overflows and crashes the computer.
Is there any way to make the output null until the subVI finishes and actually gives the desired output? This way the loop could continue until the subVI's output is ready.

Inside the subVI, you can set a condition, for example, if data is not given, set the output to some kind of value (NaN is good for numeric), if data is present, just take it out. But be sure the subVI has no loop to get data, but check data only once. If you need a loop to get data, you'll have to put it in paralell with the main loop.
