Any way to play muxed MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 videoson iPOD

Anyone that knows a way to bypass the fact that iPod cannot play the audio on a video when converting a MPEG file that happens to be a muxed MPEG-1 or MPEG-2.
It is so irritating that this worked on normal windows media player thus on PDA.s but not on my new $$$$ iPOD 60GB

I believe you're highly mistaken. The iPod isn't the problem...
"Neither iTunes nor QuickTime can convert MPEG-1/2 files to MPEG-4 format with audio. MPEG-1/2 files are "muxed," or multiplexed. This means both the audio and video are on one track. iTunes (and QT) fail to see the audio, and only convert the video."

When you purchase an HD video on a supported device or computer, only HD video will be downloaded. To download the SD version, you need to download the video again from your Purchased page. Conversely, if you purchase an HD video on an unsupported device, the SD version will be downloaded. Then, you will need to download the HD version from your Purchased page. Thank you. I have heard of Logic Pro 7, but I have never personally used it. I'm still growing in the world of Composition, and I know that it is something I will be studying in one of my Computer Music classes coming up for my degree. I think it is something I will look into getting once I can justify the price of it. I guess for the time being, I will continue to play and grow in my ability to use and take advantage of GB, and then see what I can do about or with Logic Pro when I'm ready. The thought of spending $1000 for a program is hard to bite, because I've already spent a lot to produce my music, not only electronic music, but also chamber music and so on. I had no idea it would be so expensive to dive deep into the world of composition! lol.

Thank you for your input, as I haven't really worked much with LP, and therefore didn't know which features are available. I will talk with some of my Composition buddies, and professors and see what they have to say as well, and who knows, I may be able to get the express version through one of them.

Is there any way to play all files in a directory by one url?

I am testing fms this days, I have put all my files(such as 1.mp3,2.mp3...n.mp3) in my directory.
I can play single file fine with url like this:
rtmp://localhost/mp3/mp3:x/2
but i want to know is there any way to play all files in my direcotry?
for example, user click the play button, the player(smp) automatic plays all files in the directory, link windows media server.
Should I use playlist? Or there is another better way?

FMS do not directly take a directory to play files, the file names have to be fetched some way (through script if needed) to make a playlist and then the play command needs to be repeated as many times.

Are there any way to play movie from hard disc uploaded with java player?

I found quicktime player can export the movie as webpage versions, uses java to play the movie instead of quicktime player.
How can I do the same with iweb? From the webpage which quicktime generated said should insert some code to the head of page and something else, but how do I insert those codes to the page I create with iweb?

I know you can preview one at a time, but I'd love to see all my artwork as picture icons, just as you can in a finder window.
Windows does this, but not OSX that I know of. Is there a third party app that enables you to see icon view in the Open and Close Dialogs?

My professors at school have keynote presentations and i take notes during class with the presenter notes feature. I was wondering if there was any way i can view both of them on the same screen on my iPad while studying? This way I could see their slides along with the notes i take during class.

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

I definitely understand wanting to maintain your information. If you have suspended your account, you are still able to access your My Verizon online account to review contacts saved with Backup Assistant or media and call logs saved with Verizon Cloud.
