Any way to print from Finder?

Sorry about my last post...I really messed up!
Here I go again. Is there any way to print from the finder? I have a DVD inserted into my drive, and I want to print the contents to have as a reference. I tried to print the contents of the disk from Toast, but couldn't find out how there, either. Thanks for any help! Regina

Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and paste in the following:
tell application "Finder"
quoted form of POSIX path of (selection as alias)
end tell
do shell script "ls -R " & the result
Select the DVD in the Finder, press the Run button from the Script Editor, and copy the text from the result pane into a place it can be printed.

  • Is there any way to print from the iPAD 3 to a HP LaserJet P2055dn? I called Applecare and was told I could not print to my wireless HP Printer.

I own a iPAD 3. It will not print to my wireless printer: a HP LaserJet P2055dn.  I called Applecare and they had no solution. I don't see such a basic function--printing--is not available.  Does anyone have a way to print from the iPAD 3 to a HP LaserJet P2055dn?

    Hi,
You need AirPrint enabled printers. Please refer to these:

  • Is there any way to print from iPad without having wireless network?

My mom is getting an iPad 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G to be able to surf the internet easily since the only service available to her at her house is dial-up. She would like to be able to print from her iPad. It seems from my research that all the printers require connection to a wi-fi network to use airprint. Does anyone know of an easy way for her to print? Also, she doesn't have a computer available to her right now as it recently died. Does anyone know of a solution?

Well, without a wireless network she can't surf the 'net!
Yes, printers require connection to a WiFi network AND they must be AirPrint compliant.

  • Is there any way to print from reminders?

Trying to print from reminders in mountain lion.  The only thing I've found is to do a screen shot and print that.  Is there a simpler way?

    I found this script helpful:
    http://coderwall.com/p/tj1y1q
I then use the text file it creates to format it in Pages (or Word). It works satisfactory but of course it would be nice to have it print more directly from Reminders.

  • Is there any way to "Print to PDF" from Acrobat?

In Windows, you can open a PDF in Acrobat and print it to a PDF.  This isn't behavior isn't available in the Mac version—trying to use "Save as PDF" and "Save as Adobe PDF" both produce the following error message:
Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. Instead, choose File > Save.
Is there any way to print to a PDF from Acrobat Pro X on a Mac (running Snow Leopard)?
Note: There's a utility to being able to print from a PDF to PDF (which I why I suspect it's available in the Windows version), so "You're doing it wrong—just Click File > Save" would not be a very helpful response.  I'm sure there are other uses for the functionality, but in my case in particular I need to split each page of a scanned PDF in which each page contains two pages of the original document.  Printing to a PDF provides an easy way to do this, but I'm open to a more appropriate solution if it's available.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Adobe removed the ability to "refry" (make a PDF from a PDF) several versions ago.
what you need is to go to document and choose Remove (delete) pages (if it’s a duplicate Page)
You can also extract pages, add pages and so on. See this:

  • Is there any way to print to a cannon mp495 from my iPad

Is there any way to print to wireless cannon mp495 from iPad

Well that printer isn't an airpritn printer so your going to have to download a third party item from the internet, that's what I did and it work's great. I like http://www.collobos.com/ it's called fingerprint, you can use the tes version first to make sure it work's and they buy iy for $10 and you don't have to go buy a new airprint printer.

Is there any way to print text messages from an iPhone 3GS?

The only ways to print any text messages from any of the iOS devices is to either do a print screen and then print those photos, or you could look for a program called TouchCopy that will allow you to download the SMS to the computer and you can handle them from there.

  • Print from Finder Window

Is there any way to print the file list that finder reveals when a folder or disk is selected? If you can't print directly, can the list of file names be copied to the clipboard or to a text file? Thanks for any help provided.

You can copy and paste. Select all of the file/folder names and copy. Open TextEdit, choose Format > Make Plain Text, then paste.
If you don't choose "Make Plain Text", the icons will be pasted with no file/folder names.

  • I lost my iPod Touch 4th Gen. Find my iPhone application was not installed. Is there any way if I can find it or else I can lock the device so nobody uses it?

I lost my iPod Touch 4th Gen. Find my iPhone application was not installed. Is there any way if I can find it or else I can lock the device so nobody uses it?

    lost/stolen
    No app is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    iCloud: Find My iPhone
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
