Any way to put parental filters on the books shown in the ibooks selection?

Forgive me if this is an obvious question, but I'm a brand new ipad user, and have just installed ibooks. I went to see what books were available, and for a start, entered "free" in the search box to see what free books were there.
Yes there were plenty of fine and interesting books, but there is an awful lot of p*rn*graphy as well. Isn't there any way to filter this out? Every single page had dirty books. I can't let my children use this ipad if it's goign to show this sort of stuff! Not that I want to see it either for that matter.
So, can I filter the selection, or do I have to remove this app altogether?

Thanks for the reply. Bit disappointing that. I would ahve thought that an ebook was an ebook, but then I'm naive!
I had a look at alternatives, and wasn't impressed. The only one of the four that Tom mentioned that had decent reviews was the Kobo one, which I tried. After half an hour of struggling with it, I had failed to download a single free ebook, so I gave up. The app is pathetic, and the meagre instructions are about the same.
How they expect to make any money when they make it so hard to use is beyind me. I'm a software developer, with over 30 years of experience, so I do know how to operate a computer, and I struggled to get Kobo to work. At least ibooks was very straightforward and easy to use.
To make matters worse, the search on Kobo didn't look any better than the ibooks one, so I don't think you can filter that either. I didn't get far enough to find out if they ahve the same level of filth that ibooks has, as their site is so poorly designed that it's very difficult to browse the free stuff, unless you have specific keywords in mind.
Oh well, thanks to all who replied. Guess I'll have to write this one off as a very disappointing experience. I'll have to see if I can get some books into ibooks, then restrict access to the store altogether. Can't see any other way.

Otherwise, if you are drawing everything in the EM simulator, you can place ports in the EM structure wherever it connects to lumped elements, then place the EM structure in a circuit schematic as a subcircuit, and connect the desired lumped elements to it there.
Of course, this is if you intend to make circuit measurements like s-parameters. Is that what you need?

You can, but only the purchases that were made from the iTunes Store. Other content that was imported from a CD or other sources will not transfer over.

Hi Raj, I didnt get all the details but here some ideas how you can solve your issue:
Depending in the system form you are working you can always use a DBDataSource in order to manipulate the rows in a matrix. It's much better as using the objects of the matrix itself. In this case you can use:
oMatrix.FlushToDataSource()
oDBDsource.SetValue("U_Quan", pVal.Row, "101")
oMatrix.Clear()
oMatrix.LoadFromDataSource()
As you can see in SetValue i'm obtaining the Column, then the row number and then setting a NEW value for this cell.
Please consider if you can use DBDataSource instead of UserDataSource.
If the answer is yes then you can use the following:
oMatrix.FlushToDataSource()
'//Get the line you want
matrix.GetLineData(pval.row)
'//Call the Userdatasource assigned to that column
UserDataSource = UserDataSources.Item("ItmCode")
'//Set the new value

As talk of the iphone 5 is increasing, I wonder if apple will come up with a way to put a password on the SIM CARD of iphones?
My iphone was stolen recently and calls were made before I got to report it missing to ridiculous charges! I was gutted to have lost my iphone and at the time didn't even think about someone using my pay monthly phone account!! With old school mobile phones if you put a password on it, this carried over to any handset you put that sim in. But with iphones this is not the case, the password is ONLY on the phone! So while a thief may realise that the phone is useless, they have access to the sim in any handset and if it is a pay monthly phone, as the majority of smartphones tend to be now, anyone can use the account until it is blocked, either by reporting it missing or my the phone company for high charges.
If apple is to remain the top supplier of smartphones I think finding a solution to this is vital.

Perhaps it has potential as an app but I definitely think it should become a feature of all iphones.
Phone companies are changing their terms and conditions to deal with such charges as so many iphones are being stolen recently, and unfortunately this results in the customer being liable for the charges.
As technology advances surely it should be making fraud more difficult instead of the opposite...??

You make separate contact for each and put them all in one group. Then, type the group name into the To box.

Yes and no. Some bloat as you call it is necessary to support all browsers. That said, this on-line tool takes your Flash code and converts it to valid XHTML Strict standards. In the process, the code is minimized a bit. Be sure to test in an XHTML Strict doc type page.

Yes, but you might want to think carefully about it.
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing. The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.
This is an attractive option for some users at face value, but it contains a significant number of issues that you might want to consider before making the decision to run a Referenced Library
How to do it:
iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced and uncheck the box at 'Copy items to the iPhoto Library'
Now when you import iPhoto makes an alias in the Library Package that points to the stored file. Note: iPhoto still creates a thumbnail of the image and it makes a Preview of edited photos inside the Library Package.
Issues?
1. You are responsible for file management. That's more work:
You must first move the files from your camera to the storage location before importing.
If you want to delete files then you must first trash them from iPhoto and then afterwards find them in your storage and trash them.
Thereafter, you cannot move the files on early versions of iPhoto at all, on iPhoto 08 and later you may move them on the same Volume or Disk. If you move them to a new volume or disk the aliases my break. If they are on an different volume and you move them the aliases will break.
You cannot rename the files.
Migrating: moving to a new machine, moving the files to another disk are all a lot more complex.
2. You gain no extra functionality from running a Referenced Library. Nothing. This is just storage. You still manage the files via iPhoto. You edit them with iPhoto or via iPhoto's External Editor setting, otherwise you're changes will not be available in iPhoto. You don't save byte of storage space.
3. If you have the Library on one volume and the photos on another you if anything changes in the path to a file (Like if you upgrade your machine, move the files on the NAS or on to another one?) then the alias will break, and you'll have to repair it manually. For every photo in the Library. One at a time.
Why do you want to run a Referenced Library?

You can run a Managed library from an external disk. Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
You're worried about accessing the files?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

I have a client that uses LIS report MCBZ and they are requesting a results layout whereby only the positive integer results of the field "Total Stock" are displayed. Is there any way to do this filtering from within the transaction itself?
MCBZ seems to be lacking the full ALV Grid functionality of newer transactions. If possible I don't want to have to advise them to export to Excel and do the filtering there, as they are trying to get away from running business decisions off of spreadsheets and instead make decisions on results displayed natively in the ERP.
The only other solution I could think of (which would require development time) would be to create a z-report that essentially copies this transaction and allows for ALV Grid results display.
Any ideas?

Please try yo create an exception situation in the program RMCB1100, and enter this excaption in MCBZ initial selection screen. By using an exception, you can define an exceptional situation.
An exception consists of specified characteristics or characteristic values (for example, customer, material) and requirements. Requirements can be the threshold value (for example, materials/ customers whose invoiced sales are greater than 10,000 DM) or a trend (for example, negative trend in sales or lead times. Put the device back into discovery mode and the iPad will see it again. Make sure the Bluetooth is ON in Settings and look at the devices seen.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
