Any way to restore events that were erased after I changed settings?

I made the mistake of syncing iCal to MobileMe and then lost all of the original events I had entered on my iPhone. I guess MobileMe thought I wanted to replace the calendar on my iPhone with a pretty-much unused, blank calendar in MobileMe??? Does anyone know how I can get my phone to go back to yesterday when all my events were in my calendar? If I can get back there (since that was where I originally entered appointments which are now lost) I can maybe fix the settings so that the blank calendars don't replace the used one on my iPhone! Forgive my confusion if the fix is obvious.

Yeah, I'm learning that a little too late (and the hard way). I hadn't synched my phone since January and started the Restore before a backup of my current settings (and all the photos taken since January) had taken place.

If you've emptied the trash, ehtn no. However if you have a backup, like Time Machine, or a recent backup copy of your photo library you could recover the photos from the trash.
The answer to getting a snapshot form iMovie depends on what version you have.
I should add it technically may be possible to recover the emptied trash, but if you really want to do that you would need to download a utility software that can attempt to recover deleted files. Do it soon before you start writing more data to that disk. At the moment I don't have a recommendation for such a program. Maybe someone else out there will offer suggestion.

Any way to identify emails that were open when Mail crashed?

Admittedly, I probably had too many emails sitting open (plus a bunch of open tabs in 3 different browsers).
Mail crashes, and I Force Quit.
When I reopen mail, a few emails do repoen, but the majority do not.
Is there any way of identifying which emails were open at crash time? It's sort of my to-do list. Admittedly, not the best way to go.

My daughter's iPhone was stolen. Is there any way to recover photos that she would have backed up to the Cloud? Note, we did not have photoshare running.

Camera roll photos are included in the backup. The backup includes:

Hi , I recently down loaded around £70.00 worth of itunes by apps , when I connected it to my pc to back it up into my library it would not sync. o2 sent it to be repaired and all data lost so none synced itune purchases were never backed up and lost . I just plugged my iPhone 5 into my computer and for some reason iTunes decided to erase all of my music and playlists off of my phone. the music being wiped out isnt a problem because i can just resync it from my library on my computer but i had playlists on my phone that i used the phone to create that are gone. They werent saved on my itunes because i used my phone to create them. is there anyway to restore these playlists or atleast see what songs were on them? i tried a whole phone restore and of course it brought everything back fine but the music was still gone. I had over 20 playlists and i don't remember what songs were on each, i can't even imagine beginning to manually recreate them. This is beyond frustrating, someone please help!

if the playlist was not backed up and then got deleated then their would be no way to get it back i know it is frustrating and anoying im sorry this has happened i would back up my phone at least once a week to secure your stuff

Thank you CS, I am using a MBP.
What I am trying to say is that I still have my contacts in MS Outlook, but are outdated- many duplicates - wrong/incomplete addresses that took quite a while to get in shape and then put in the cloud.
I still dont know how it was erased (sitting at work one minute no issue then at noon all was gone).
I am trying to evade the hours needed to clean up my address book again. ( and I have definitely learned my lesson - alwasy keep a backup).

My family recently got a new Gateway windows 7 computer, because our old one crashed. I had to reinstall itunes, and now have absolutely no music on the computer. When I plug my ipod touch into the computer it gives me like two choices it asks if I want to sync just the songs purchased on itunes, or erase everything on my ipod and sync with my itunes library on the computer which I'm pretty sure is nothing. I would rather not have to go through the hassel of getting all the songs not purchased on itunes back onto my ipod because they are basically all from cd's. So is there anyway that I can get all the songs from my ipod back onto my computer? I don't know what to do and am on the verge of tears PLEASE HELP!!!!

Is there any way to resize videos that were done in a larger format?

I recently took several videos and didn't realize that in order to send them, I had to change the size to QVGA. After several frustrating attempts to send by phone and email, I gave up. My question is this: Is there anyway to downsize a video after it is recorded in a larger format? I tried video editing apps and they didn't work at all as far as resizing. Any help will be appreciated as these videos cannot be redone. Thank you.

Unfortunately no. If you had photo stream turned on berfore this happened you could sign into the same iCloud account on your phone and turn it on again to see if any of your photos are still there, but chances are they aren't.

I recently turned off the "notes" app from iCloud so that my iphone 5 wouldn't send those notes to all my devices. I didn't know it until quite some time later, but all of my notes are now gone. I vaguely recall seeing an email of the notes, but I can't find that email whatsoever. I tried turning the iCloud notes option back on in hopes it would reinstate in the iPhone, but no dice. I am sure that I have backed up the phone on itunes since they were deleted since it was set to auto backup when I connected my phone to my Macbook Pro. Any ideas on how, if at all possible, to recover these notes? Why did they delete at all?!

If it wasn't on the device when you last backed up then no, it's gone. If it was backed up, you would have to reset the device (deleting all data on it) and perform a restore from the backup.

All of my contacts were deleted for no reason. Is there any way to restore them?

I powered down my iPhone 4S because an app was bugging out. When I powered it back up, all of my contacts had been deleted. When I tried to see my contact list it told me there were "No Contacts" on this phone. In the "messages" app, each conversation is now paired with a phone-number and not each contact's name.
I did not have my contacts sync'd to my iTunes, or iCloud, or any other storage system.
Interestingly, when I do a "left-swipe search", and type in a contact's name e.g. Joe Smith, my phone is able to show me which text-message conversations were with Joe Smith, and other information about this contact. But that's the only memory my phone has of its lost contacts.
Is there any way to restore lost contacts without external storage / syncing ??

I think those contacts still in iphone database. So you can back up you iphone with itunes to get iphone database off your iphone. Then access the SQLite batabse.
