Any way to retain emails on the BT email server so...

When I was with Virgin I regularly used webmail to initially manage emails, then downed to Outlook when all the dross had been sifted.
It seems that with BT.Yahoo it has taken over and I can't pull emails into Outlook, when I down emails to the inbox there aren't any, but if I log into webmail they are all there.

Is there any way to control or change the email notification format delivered by iBots? I have created an iBot to deliver the scorecard report to the team with type chosen as 'Attachment (HTML)' option. With this definition of iBot - notification being sent in MIME HTML (.mht) format. Due to some security settings at my email client - the attachement gets quratined because of .mht format. So, I am looking for an option to send the notification only in HTML (.htm) format with which I don't have any issues with my email client?

I'm using a few ipads in a public setting and we're trying to lock it down to a company app as much as possible. I found how to restrict Safari, so customer can't use it for browsing, but I haven't found any way to delete or restrict the e-mail app - so if a customer gets to the home page, they have been able to add an e-mail address, and believe me, they are not smart enough to delete it, so they walk away with all their account info signed in - nice huh....

You can't delete email but you can configure the iPad so that a password is required to make it functional. There's a lot of restrictions information in Chapter 19 of the 4.2 User Guide. Pages 147 and 148 address your specific concerns.

My Ipod touch is set to manually manage music. I have put music from my computer and iTunes account onto it, and music from other people's computer and iTunes accounts on it. Unfortunately I dropped my iPod and the screen cracked. It still plays music and everything just fine, but it has problems with it's battery life so I'd like to just get a completely new iPod nano. From what I can tell it won't let me sync any of the music on my iPod touch that is from other people's computers onto my laptop, and so I wouldn't be able to put it on a new iPod nano. It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other.

Is there any way to make copies of the maser image in LR3?
I do a lot of sports and dance photography and I need a way to make multiple copies of an image to drag into different folders in LR3.
Example: One dancer may be on several teams and I need to make copies of the team photos to put in each dancers folder before I upload them to my E Commerce site so each dancer see's their team photo with their individual photos in the same folder online.
I know I can make virtual copies, but you cannot drag them to different folders as copies, it will move the virtual with the master.
If they would just let us hold ALT or any key while dragging to "copy" instead of "move", my problem would be solved.
For now I have to go into Windows, make copies ,then synch the folders again. Pain in the rear to do that.
Anyone have any experience here?

I too need to make "Real Copies" of images and hate doing anything directly from the OS because of the chance that my LR catalog gets out of Sync with the actual images on the computer. So I make the copies inside LR with an export routine and then move the copies inside of LR with the normal drag and drop. Once the export preset is created it can be executed from the Library Grid by right-clicking on the image (or selected images) to make the copies. My settings are as follows in case you are interested:

Somewhere away back when I heard that by knowing the serial number the details of the service record on the given mac could be found. However in those days I only bought new. These days with mac's inability to run applications that require the for real OS 9 ( not classic ) I have to scour the used market. I have some high end audio midi programmes ( for example emagic, cubase VST score ) that do the job and sometimes better then then the OS X versions.

If the iPad and iPhone contacts are being synced with the same supported address book app on the computer, they should now be the same on each device.
Is Sync Contacts selected under the Info tab for the iPad and iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
Which supported address book app on the computer are contacts being synced with?
Are the missing contacts available in the supported address book app on the computer?
