Any way to save faild bios update without the graphics working

HI,
I put together a new m-itx computer last week, had som trubbel with an old SSD that didn't start when I started the system but after rebooting 2 or 3 times it rose from the dead and the computer work without any problems. I found this irritating and got the tip to update my bios so I did, I use the M-flash function in the bios but then when the system rebooted it froze so everything crashed and now the system starts up but I cant get it to give any video signals and I even tried this bios recovery fix that MSI support sent me  but that didnt work either since I cant get anything up on my screen. so i was wondering if anyone knows a way to flash the bios without visuals?
ohh and I forgot for some reason it seams like my keybord doesent work either.
I hope I didn't post this in the wrong place?
System:
Windows 7 64bit
Corsair XMS3 Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
Corsair  CX500 500W
Intel Core i3-4360
MSI Z97I AC
Corsair f115 SSD

Unfortunately the board is now bricked. As it doesn't offer a backup bios it can only be reflashed with an SPI flash programming device. Therefor you need to contact a pc-shop or MSI for saving it. If still under warranty you can also rma it as an official MSI flash option failed.

  • Is there a way to save photos from lightroom without the original file?

I recently imported photos into lightroom, but I failed to save the original files on my computer and they are deleted from my card.  The pictures are still showing up in lightroom.  Is there a way to save them from lightroom without the original file?

Your images aren't - and never were - in Lightroom, they're just referenced in Lightroom's database.
Lightroom does generate jpeg previews of the originals though, and you can export those using Rob Cole's Preview Exporter plugin: robcole.com - PreviewExporter.
To be clear though, these aren't the originals.

  • Is there any way I can use bi beans without the patches

I am a Chinese student,I am doing some research on OLAP.
I'm in the initial stages of evaluating BI Beans for my research. We have previously not used Oracle in house.
In attempting to use BI Beans, the first thing you must do is install the latest patches against the Oracle database. Unfortunately, the patches are only available for people with a suport contract.
Is there any way I can get these patches without a support contract, or is there any way I can use bi beans without the patches?
    thanks alot,

You must have a valid support contract to access Metalink. You could try contacting your local support centre and ask if they could make the patches available to you.

  • Any way to save data in loop without using shift register or feedback loop

    Hello all
I was thinking, is it possible to save data in a loop to next iteration without the use of a shift register or a feedback loop?
I need the possibility to reload data within a loop from a lvm file, but I want to use the same data until i load some new ones.
The reason why I don't want to use the shift register or feedback node is due to speed, even though I am not sure if the shift register
actually moves all the data from one register to another, or if it is stationary until a change in the data occur.
The data I want to reuse is medium-large (6 force measurements, 2 pressure, 1 flow channels)of about 10sec data in each file with samplingsrate of 2kHz..
In my analysis program I have many CPU demanding calculations and 3D graphs, so I just want to minimize the CPU load as much as I can for each part of the
    software..
I have attached a small VI to explain what I am talking about.
I now I shouldn't use the express VI, and I am going to change that as well - this is just a proof of concept!
Hope you guys can help me understand this shift register better...
    Thanks!

  • Is there any way to get spanish language movies without the stupid "always on" english subtitles

I am losing my mind trying to figure out a way to buy movies through iTunes, in the original language, WITHOUT forced english subtitels.  Please help!

If the films don't have Japanese as a language option on them then you can try requesting that they be added to your country's iTunes store, but Apple will only be able to sell them there if the rights-holder grants them a license to do so : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

  • Any way to fine-tune image position without the mouse?

First to explain what I'm doing: I'm placing a series of digital photos side-by-side on the Timeline, with cross-dissolves in between them. Each image shows the same drawing, only it gets more and more developed as it goes along. For this to work well, each succeeding image must be placed exactly on top of the preceding one. So what I've been doing is carefully adjusting the position of each new picture in the Canvas, using the mouse, until it sits as precisely as I can get it on top of the preceding one.
(By the way, I'm doing this by putting a cross-dissolve between two pictures, and then putting the playhead right in the middle of the dissolve, so that I can see both images at the same time. Then I move the most recent picture around with the mouse, that is, by holding down the mouse button and carefully pushing it until the two images are superimposed as closely as I can get them.
Trouble is, the mouse is not a very precise tool for this. What I'd like to do is the sort of thing you can do in Photoshop, Indesign, and other programs where you can select something (like an image or object) and then nudge it around with the arrow keys, one pixel at a time. By tapping the arrow keys, left, right, up, down, you can jog things around with great precision, which is just what I need in a situation like this, trying to get these pictures exactly on top of one another.
In Final Cut, of course, the arrow keys don't do that; they move the playhead around in the Timeline.
So my question is: when you want to move images around in the canvas with great precision, is there some way to dispense with the mouse and precisely nudge them around with keyboard keys? Or any other way?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Tom

Hold the Option key while using the up-down-left-right arrow keys in order to adjust the pictures centre 1 pixel at a time.
Hold the OPTION and COMMAND key while using the arrow keys in order to adjust the pictures centre 0.1 pixel at a time.
(Double click the clip in the timeline to open it in the viewer. Go to the motion tab there. Now again click on the canvas and do as I described above. You'll see the Center-values change.)
If this 0.1 pixels is not even enough, you'll need to zoom in the canvas. Select canvas. Command +. Then use the mouse. Shift Z to return to full image canvas (=Fit To Window)

  • Is there any way to save my college schedule on the Calendar application in Mountain Lion? I would like for the application to show me the hours I am in class, that way when adding new events it will not conflict with my classes.

I want to be able to see my schedule, but I do not want it to be marked as regular events. Kind of something that just runs in the background without notifications.

Is your Messages application totally quit when this happens. For me, I quit messages and uncheck 'sign out when quit application' (or something like that) in the Message preferences. So when i get a message, it will open the application but it wont take me away from what i am doing, it just appears in the dock.

  • IBooks does not open. It only briefly shows an empty  bookcase. I have all my important .pdf reference documents in my library.  I was never able to figure out how to backup ibooks.  I am afraid to reinstall the apps risking loss of data. Any way to save?

IBooks will not open with new ipad and upgraded iOS. It only opens briefly to show an empty  bookcase. I installed the most recent update of iBooks. In apps store it says 'open'.  But the same thing happens...a brief flash.  Strangely, the image and list of my collection actually shows in miniature with all the open apps; so I can close it as I do any other app.
I have all my important .pdf reference documents in my library.    I am afraid to reinstall the apps risking loss of data. I was never able to figure out how to backup ibooks. Any way to save without access to the program?

Now that you have your PDFs on your computer's iTunes library you could try deleting and redownloading the app, and then sync the PDFs back to it - as long as you continue to keep a copy of the PDFs on your computer (and preferably on a backup as well) then if the same thing happens again then you could delete and reinstall again (you shouldn't have any problems with the iBooks app, but then you shouldn't have had a problem this time either).
You could try GoodReader (you could have the most important PDFs in both) - but the current version on iOS 7 isn't getting very good reviews in terms of its speed and crashes (it's description page says that a major update is coming soon).

  • Is there a way to save a restored session (without opening it) to bookmarks?

I kinda get carried way with opening tabs, like I'll have 50-200 open at any time. And you can imagine what it's like when Firefox crashes and you attempt to restore a crashed session - all the tabs reopen at the same time.
Is there any way to save a crashed session's tabs/windows to bookmarks directly from the restore session list? This would be so useful... sometimes I just want to go to a couple places and then close Firefox, worrying about the crashed session later, and without having to open every single tab in it at once.

It would be very practical if we could choose to save the crashed session as bookmarks into a date-stamped bookmark folder instead of restoring, and even an option to "copy to clipboard" just like "CopyAllurls" does (firefox add-on) - with title and urls, grouped by domain, for example. When a 200+ tabs session crashes, what we need is mostly to not loose track of what we worked with, but not strictly loading them all in one go at startup. Furthermore, whenever we really do load them all, then it would be smarter if Firefox loaded just a certain (configurable figure?) number of tabs, then waits for them to load, and fill in with the next tabs as the currently loading tabs finish. It should not attempt to load all 200+ simultaneously, as that creates other problems. Will look for any existing feature requests about this and chime in there. If anyone has a direct link to relevant feature requests, please post here. Thanks.

  • Is there any way to create 3D PDF file without having the model tree ?

Is there any way to create 3D PDF file without having the model tree ?
3D communication is good but sometime we don't want the receiver to be able to study every components in model.
or any way to make the receiver cannot use model tree and measurement tool ????
    Thank you very much

You can remove the assembly tree by doing a roundtrip in 3D Toolkit, here's how:
    - start Acrobat 3D
    - drag & drop a CAD file
    - click on 3D Annot to activate
    - right-click on 3D
    - select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
    - 3D Toolkit launches
    - click in 'Scene Tree' panel
    - right-click on top assembly name
    - select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
    - select 'File->Save'
    - select 'File->Exit'

  • My contacts are organized in different groups. An iPhone trade show app (Vinexpo) displays exhibitors infos and allows to create new contacts. Is there any way to save a new contact in a specified group instead of the contacts root? Thks in advance

My contacts on my iPhone are organized in different groups. I have downloaded a trade show app which gives infos on the exhibitors of the show. It offers to create new contacts from these info. Is there any way to save these new contacts in a specified group instead of putting them into the contacts root, where they are mixed with all the old ones? By the way, can we create a new contacts group directly from the IPhone, without having to go through the sync process with the PC?
    Thanks a lot in advance

Sorry, I forgot to bookmark the thread where the app was mentioned, but searching for "group" or "contacts" should bring a few results in the AppStore.

  • My computer somehow restarted then deleted all my progress from Word documents. Is there any way to get these documents back without purchase of a data recovery software?

Recently when I open my Mac the screen stays black until I press the start button a few times. Usually at this point it's in sleep mode. This time, however, the computer restarted completely, losing any word documents that I had left open prior. Is there any way I can recover these files without a purchase of a data recovery software? I've tried looking in the 'recent' tab, but it didn't save anything I have done in the last week, and finals are this coming week. Please help!

If the system just Restarted on it's own, Shut down while you were working on something then started back up all those changes, edits, you had done in that app, document, are gone.

  • Is there a way to do a firmware update without being plugged into a power source?

I have a Macbook 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and the indicator light on the Magsafe power cord is not lighting up. I know the cord works because I have tried it on a different computer but it is only this macbook that it doesn't work on. I have reset the SMC. I do need to do a firmware update but when I try to do the update it the firmware it will not let me update because the computer doesn't know that its connected to a power source. When I look at the battery life indicator on the right hand corner it says that its calculating but never changes.
I was using the computer running on battery life and it turned off. I was able to turn the computer on. The computer powers on and off but i'm assuming its going to run the battery power. I don't have another battery to try on this computer. Are there any suggestions?
Firmware update 1.4 is what i'm trying to install

  • My one year old disabled my iphone 5 so i need to "connect it to itunes" as the screen directs. I know how to do this with my laptop but it says i will be doing a factory reset. is there any way to get my phone open without losing everything?

Long story short, my one year old disabled my iphone5 and I need to "connect to itunes" as the screen instructs. I went through the steps and it says that I will be doing a factory reset and I will lose everything. Is there any way to get my phone open without losing everything?? I'm mainly concerned about my pictures and videos.

Once the Device is in Recovery Mode... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... after the successful Recovery... Restore from the most recent Backup...
