Any Yahoo Music Unlimited users can he

I've used Napster to go, Rhapsody to go, and now Yahoo Music Unlimited over the past two months. Yahoo is a real winner, the interface is great, everything is fast, and a great music collection.
But I have one problem - I set up the Yahoo on one machine, it has my 'streamed' (not downloaded) playlists. I set it up on another machine (you can access it on up to 3 computers), log into the same account, and there are no playlists. With Rhapsody, any time you log into your account, of course your playlists are there. Without this feature I am doomed as I try to put together a playlist for a big party.
Have any Yahoo Unlimited folks tried to access on multiple computers? Is there some kind of playlist file lurking on the original machine we installed on that can be moved over? Thanks.

I keep setting all my default download locations to a slave dri've but for some reason Yahoo keeps putting them in C:\\Documents and Settings\User_Name\My Documents\My Music
I checked the Yahoo program and it points to the right folder,so now I am going to change the Windows default location of "My Music" to my "G" Dri've,this can easily be done with the XP Power Toy Tweak UI program that is free from Microsoft or you can change it with Reg Edit.
As for the service,I had a service from ISP that was partnered with MusicNet(same as Yahoo) and this,the Yahoo program blows all of them away,Rhapsody,Napster 2 Go,Music,MusicMatch,iTunes.
My old service had a terrible,no they worst ever Acti've X controls ever made,search sucked,no personalized radio,only 28kb wma (Yahoo is 92kb and there is a BIG difference)no transfers to portable device or purchase options and it was $ 7.99 (U.S.) a buck more than Yahoo.
I am sold...Creative please please firmware now !!!!

Congratulations on recently purchasing an iPhone! I have the iPhone myself and love it, so I am sure you will as well. In regards to downloading music on your device, the best way to complete this task is going to be going through iTunes or the Apple App store. The Apple App store should have several 3rd party applications you can download music and play on your device. In addition any music that you have saved in your iTunes library can be synced and transfered to youre device.

field (e.g. you can use Sugar for email, but email is not linked to contacts). This is possible by doing some hacking in the database. Do you know any other CRM where users can do this in interface?

    It could be that DSO_X is a write optimized DSO. Since a Write optimised DSO does not require any activation, it is capable of loading data much faster. Once the data is in BW, you have an exact copy of the R/3 data, so you dont need the PSA and they can be deleted on a regular basis. You have a definite performance improvement in this case.
   As you said a backup is also possible if you have a DSO. Helps in the case of LIS loads, since you already have a copy of the data in BW, you would not need to perform setup activties if you need to do so minor changes.
   It could also be that different transformations are happening at each level of DSO. You would need to check for start and update routines for exactly what changes are being made. for eg. If I need to change some records, i do it in DSO_X, if i need to change these records based on the changes made in DSO_X, i change them while loading to DSO. Further changes can be done while loading to the cube.

Yahoo Music Unlimited works with my Zen Micro

I read about Yahoo launching a new music service today that features unlimited subscription downloads like the Napsters service. http://music.yahoo.com/unlimited/
I wasn't sure if my Micro would work without flashing it with a new firmware, but it does.
Luckily I let me Napster trial subscription expire a few weeks ago, because I just bought an annual subscription to the yahoo service for $60. I am loading it with more music as we speak. Who needs iTunes? Thank you Creative.

Is the Zen Touch Compatible with Yahoo Music Unlimite

i'm hoping to sign up for what looks like a pretty decent service at an acceptable price point. however i don't see the zen touch (mine is 20gb) on the list of compatible 'windows plays for sure' devices. i know the micro is.
anyone know what the status is of the zen touch and if there is anything i can do about it if current software is not compatible? thanks!!

Yahoo Music App or CBS Radio Closes Upon Choosing any Station

This is happening for the past 2 weeks ago. Before, everything seems to work well. But now, I can open Yahoo music app but CAN'T play any stations because it closes and goes back to home, everytime.
My OS is 3.0 and I don't want to upgrade my iPod Touch 2G to iOS 4.0 because it will become slow. Has this problem occured to you? And what did you do to fix this?

After update Safari 7.0.3 none of my Mac devices finds any of the Yahoo servers. How can I fix this?

I live in Australia. Since May 5 after the Security Update 2014-002 ALL my Mac devices (computers, laptop,ipad, iphone) stopped finding ALL yahoo servers. So I can't open ANY yahoo website. I can receive emails in my mail app but I can't send them as the outgoing server can be found either or connected to.
Any of you guys know how to fix this? I have used Yahoo in all my devices daily for many years and I never encountered this problem before.
Someone I know in the USA is having the EXACT same problem.

Depends on how much free space.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop.
Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available.
Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.

User can't see items to add to worksheet

Hello!
I have a problem with some user who does not see any items from business area when trying to create workbook in Discoverer Dekstop.
Environment:
OD:XP Prof SP2
DB: Oracle XE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
Desktop Clinet 10.1.2.48.18
EUL Library 10.1.2.48.18
EUL 5.1.1.0.0.0
The testing scenario was:
created a user in Oracle XE and 4 tables imported in this schema, create joins, indexes... Created 5 users with select granted on this tables. Each user has his own EUL and all can work with no problems except one user. This particular user log into Discoverer Administrator and creates an EUL and Business area. But when the user logs into D.Desktop and tries to create a Workbook, at setp 2 of the Create Workbook wizard there are no items to add to the Worksheet. All the users have the exactly the same clients, privileges and were created in the same way. All off them can work normally in D.Administrator. Any ideas why this user can't see any items from BusinessArea?

You might get better luck if you post questions about Discoverer into the Discoverer forum: Discoverer where I am one of the principal answerers of questions.
With regards to this particular issue it sounds as though the user does not have the correct EUL setup inside Desktop.
To check and fix, use this workflow:
1. Log on to Discoverer Desktop
2. When prompted whether to create or open a workbook, click the Cancel button
3. From the toolbar, select Tools | Options
4. Click the EUL tab - it is the last one so you will need to scroll across
5. Look at the value for Default EUL
6. If it is not the one the user created, use thr drop-down to select the right one
7. Click the OK button
8. From the toolbar, select File | Connect to Database and reconnect
9. The user should be able to see the items now
When an EUL is created you have the option of creating a public or a private EUL. If any user creates a public EUL then all users will have access to that EUL but not to the business areas and items in that EUL, not at least until the owner grants access. New connections to Desktop will pick up a default EUL which will be one of the public EULs, and not always the EUL just created by the user on that machine.
Could this be the case with you?

Command #user can change there own password (inside script..without passwd)

I have prepared one script, from which user can change there own password across all the nodes he wants.But problem is script is not working because the following command is not working
echo -e "$oldPassword\n$newPassword" | passwd
i have tried to run it manually but it is showing the folowing error....

any idea how to resolve this , or is there any other command where user can change their own password (inside a script).

When you change the password and are not root user, the passwd utility will ask for the current (old) password. You have specified a wrong old password, plus the utility will ask for confirmation of the new password.

Users can't change Active directory password on MACs

When they change the account password thought system perferences, the changes are not being passed to the DC and federated services server.
I have logged off and logged back in, And rebooted. If they open the login keychain it will update but is there any way a end user can change there password with out involving IT?
Mac are runing 10.6.8 and 6.5.1 AD .

One of our users has iMac, 10.6.8.
She has not got any local account.
She logs on to AD domain, with domain ID
When after 40 days or so she is asked the change the password; it does not work.
If we change it for here through AD or through another Windows PC, it works.
Could you please let me know the best course of action for this type of users who are not administrators of iMac?
I tested by changing my account's PAssword and it worked( I have administrative role).

N8 OVI Music Unlimited Downloads

Hi everyone
I am trying to activate my OVI Music unlimited subscription on an N8 (had not done this before upgrading to belle) and I get the following message:
You can't use this mobile for Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile.
This is because this isn't a Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile.
Strange thing is this mobile came with the music guide and this activation PIN in the sales package (from South Africa). Now it is telling me that it cannot be used with this service.
Can anyone help with what could be the problem and how to go about solving it?

In regards to your concern, the Nokia Music Unlimited subscription can only be used by the original owner of the Comes with music phone. This is because of the one (1) Subscription - 1 IMEI - 1 Nokia Account policy which means that the phone can only recognize the very first Nokia Account activated for the Nokia Music Unlimited subscription.

Had this problem for quite a while but found a work-a-round. I click anywhere in the text I want to delete and insert any character. I am then able to block and delete any text I want to. It's been working great.

i had this problem and finally figured it out. all that you need to do is go to your start menu and click on computer. select your main drive, (local drive) c usually. Next open the users file follow by your user name file, which is just like it sound it is a file labled as whatever your name is as you have it on your computer. Then you open up the AppData file. Next open the Roaming file. After that open the Apple Computer file followed by the iTunes file. Now you should see the folder labled iTunes Plug-ins folder. Now just Delete that folder. After that go to your iTunes and play your music.
If for some reason you don't see the AppData file you need to go to the upper left of your screen on select organize. a drop down menu will appear and you need to select folder and searc options. a small folder options window will appear. in this window you need to select the view tab. you need to select the show hidden files, folders, and drives bubble. now hit apply and then ok. that will allow the AppData folder to be seen.

I have just purchased a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic mobile phone which came with music. I have previously had a similar phone which came with music which for the last year I have been using. That unlimited downloads has now expired.
So I have plugged in my new phone, which I have not used to purcahse any music with through my old unlimited downloads, and it is saying:
You can't use this mobile for Nokia Music Unlimited edition mobile.
Can someone please tell me why not? The phone is capable of playing music (it is an XpressMusic mobile). I have specifically gone and purchased this phone for the unlimited downloads and will not be very happy if I am unable to activate it.

Like @petrib mentioned you should be able find local Nokia Care details behind that Contact us -link up right in this page (or if you tell which country you are in I can check the details for you).
You could also update to latest Nokia Music Player which has just become available e.g. here http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/nokia-music-support and see if activation would work with that.
